Magi Craft Meister

11-28 Emperor

Crossing the bridge over a wide moat changed the landscape visible through the window.

"Oh, that's funny"

Jen accidentally leaked his voice.

The waterways passed vertically and horizontally to Loizato and were used for traffic and transportation as expected.

Some houses are built across the waterway, which is quite interesting. Reiko hears Jen grunt like that, thinks it will be a reference material, and keeps sending information about the landscape and other things to Old Master.

Jen had never actually seen it, but had the impression that the town of Edo and Venice in Italy had been added and divided by two.

But the waterway also decreases as we approach the center of the city, leading to the inner moat surrounding the central Imperial Castle.

Of course, there are several watergates along the way that make it easy to stay away from the castle.

"The inner moat is about ten meters..."

It kind of reminds me of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

Instead of the bridge, there was only one moat-free part in front of the Imperial Castle, and a line proceeded towards it.

Knights of Kingsguard lined up sloppily in front, stopping in front. That's where you'll get off the carriage for the first time.

It would mean a complete Miyagi inside the inner moat.

All the carriages will be parked in a wide parking lot in front of them and the horses will be kept in the stables where the person in charge is located. Except for Jen's golem horse.

The golem horse was accepted with an admirable eye.

"Lord Jin, please board this carriage. Miss Leiko, please."

There were three carriages coming without roofs and for transfers.

Reinhardt is the leading carriage, Jen is the second carriage, and the third one seems to be for luggage. Jen left her baggage.

Three carriages advance on clean cobblestones.

It is Miyagi if you go through a gate that seems sturdy.

"Ooh..."

Place pattern, I couldn't raise my voice out loud, but my voice leaks unexpectedly.

There was the 300-year-old Shouro Imperial Palace Castle.

Shouro Imperial Palace Castle.

It is a three-story castle made of granite. The width is more pronounced than the height.

There is nothing like a spire, but a beautiful western museum imaginatively, is it close?

And Jens set foot in the castle, guarded by knights and soldiers.

Reinhardt went with Matheus to his reinstatement, and Jen was kept in the reception room.

Jen has two... with a male butler and a female maid of honor.

"Go ahead."

I smelled the smell of the tea served, and Jen thought, oh. Because it was a nostalgic scent.

I'll take a sip.

"... brooch tea?

It tasted pretty close. So, I'll ask the two of you around.

"Is this tea a specialty of the Shauro Empire?

It was the butler who answered that.

"Yes, it is a specialty of the southern part of the Imperial Shouro"

"Do you know how to make it?

The reaction when I heard that again,

"... it's not up to me to decide if I want to talk about it."

So Jen reckons. If it's a specialty, I guess there's something like a secret. Oh, and that means you can't talk to foreign people.

"Okay. This is my solitary. Pick the young leaves, steam and then dry. again, heated tea until it smelled fragrant"

When I said that, the butler's complexion changed.

"Hey, why do you know!?

"... I knew it. No, it was very similar to my hometown tea."

Yes. When Jen answered, the butler regained his composure.

"Was that so? The customer said he was an excellent magic engineer, but he didn't even know about tea."

The dean liked tea, so he was just asking me about the savings, but I don't talk about it.

"Maybe some tea you make by picking leaves and heating them right away?

Jen throws a question that means, "Is there no green tea instead?"

Tea leaves are naturally oxidized and fermented with the enzymes they contain. If you are abusive, the green tea is the one that is left to ferment, and the one that is picked and heated immediately to stop the enzyme from working.

"Oh, my God! That's a 'green tea' method devised about a hundred years ago!

Oh, I knew I had green tea, and Jen was happy.

Since the tea grown in Penglai is from the village of Kaina, I still felt a slight difference in taste.

That is why the tea here was' itself '.

"Can I get a replacement?"

When Jen, who drank the poured tea, said so, the samurai poured me another cup as a courtesy.

"Uh, good"

Saying so, Jen was drinking, and the samurai looked happy.

"Her parents are tea farmers. I'm glad you said it was delicious."

When the butler said so, the samurai blushed. She is nevertheless a silent samurai. Maybe he's forbidden to talk.

"After all, are they grown in warm regions?

"You know very well, you're right. It's the northern limit of cultivation around here in Loizato."

At this point, Jen thought that there might be some rice, and decided to ask.

"Um, do you have any cereal specialties from the Imperial Shouro?

First of all, the introduction section.

"Yes, sir."

"Er, not wheat, not beans, suitable for growing in the wetlands, like ears drooling when fruitful..."

And when I said, once again, the butler peeled off his eyes.

"Where did you get that from!? You mean 'Ho (no gi)' grown only in the south!?

Jen became even happier knowing that there was something like rice. Definitely get seedlings! and determination.

"Oh, I guess so. The dishes that use it…"

When Jen asked so many questions, the door opened. It was the young knight who came.

"Master Jin, come. His Majesty the Emperor will see you."

Jen was walking down the hall with Reiko.

Because they didn't say anything about taking Reiko. Also, Reiko wouldn't have understood if I told her I was leaving.

"His Majesty the Emperor very much likes to meet the brilliant. But when you enter the room, it's that you're lowering your gaze until Your Majesty tells you it's good. Be careful not to raise your face without forgiveness."

Other than that, he explained to me that there was no courtesy or other precautions, and that if I did not become disrespectful, it would be good in my own way.

And it was the clerk's office that was guided. It had two doors made of wood that looked sturdy, with soldiers standing beside each other.

"It's Master Jin."

When the knight in the guide says so, the soldier pulls the string attached to the side of the door three times. It sounds like a ringing bell.

Then the door was opened from inside.

"Come in, please"

Encouraged by the accompanying knight, Jen and Reiko walk into the

"Welcome, Gin"

There was Reinhardt. And at the deepest end there will be a large and heavy desk, and it will be His Majesty the Emperor of the Empire of Shouro sitting behind it.

"Your Majesty told me you wanted to talk to me first. Now, move on back."

Jen bowed deeply as a gesture of the utmost respect he could, then advanced his legs.

One, two steps. I came before the Emperor in seven steps. The gaze stays staring at your feet. I haven't raised my face.

"I'm Jin Nido, an exotic magician. Honorary magician of the Kingdom of Egerea, Onorari Magicraftsman, recently became an honorary member of the Magic Engineer Mutual Aid Society (Guild) of our country."

Reinhardt's voice introduces Jen sounds.

"We welcome you. Lord Jin Nido, raise your face."

A voice was hung, and Jen raised his face and was to worship His Majesty the Emperor for the first time.

And surprised.

"Welcome to the Empire of Shouro. I am Gerhardt Hilde von Rubies Schauro, Emperor of the Shawlo Empire."

Emperor Shouro was a woman... an emperor.

"Hehe, you're surprised. Everyone who sees me for the first time will be surprised. It's okay. I hit the sister of my predecessor emperor. And Ernst, the oblivion of his predecessors, is the emperor of the bond until he grows up and succeeds to the throne."

And Jen is surprised that he even revealed his insights.

"Hehe, are you surprised again? Everyone in our country knows that. I just haven't been informed externally, so there are a lot of people out there who don't know."

I laugh when I say that. Jen has been fascinated by that face.

Even so, it's not romantic emotion.

The Empress in front of her is around forty years old, dark scorched brown hair with pale brown eyes, small.

It's like,

(Mr. Dean...)

You can say that Jen's parents looked a lot like the director of the Erdo orphanage.

Of course, even though they were similar, their faces differed, and the dean had gray hair. but the way it talks, the gentle eyes, and whatever it is, the atmosphere surrounds it.

Not knowing Jen has such feelings, Empress Gerhardt Hilde von Rubies Schauro continues.

"Reinhardt told me. I hear you're a great magic engineer. In the town of Hattata, we built a tool called a pump that pumps water from deep wells, and in Amberg, we vacuumed magic tools. Not just that. Microscope, is it? Until…"

"As long as you're ashamed."

If Jen was so modest, no one would think so, I said.

"Are you familiar with the 'science' discipline of Reinhardt? If you'll excuse me, I hope you'll pass it on to my country as a part of it."

So the Empress cut off her words.

"What I did made you a little sudden. … Lord Jin, please take a moment to see our country"

That's what I say and point to Reinhardt.

"Reinhardt will have one this year, usually removed from his official duties. And I decided to let you serve as Lord Jin's valet."

That's what they said. Reinhardt bowed his head silently. A vacation after serving as a diplomat and a wedding with Berche would also be considered.

"Take a look at our country until you feel better. Good places, bad places. And on top of that, if you like our country at all,"

The Empress looked to Jen's eyes,

"Your knowledge, even its shards, is fine. of this country, for the sake of the people of this country."

He bowed his head slightly.
