Magi Craft Meister

14-35 On the lake

To the words Jen said that she had no desire for the girl, the Empress circled her eyes.

"Jin, is that... is that what you're saying?

"Is that what you're saying..."

I can't answer as Jen if they ask me that way. The Empress changed the way she listened.

"Not a girl, but, you know, a younger kid, or vice versa. You have to be older."

"No, I'm not."

"Well, then,... maybe a guy would be nice, or something?

"Why is that?"

Jen held his head. I never thought an empress who was usually smart and resolute would mention this.

"No way, to the doll..."

"Please don't..."

The Empress could easily see that Jen was seriously denying it, so she decided to cut this topic off.

(Actually, I think if you could join Elsa or Saki)

The Empress changed the subject without putting it into words.

"You don't know anything about the Demons, do you? I'm anxious."

"So, I guess. But I'll do what I can."

"Yeah, Jin, if I hear that word of yours, it's a thousand manpower. I'll do whatever I can in my country, so just say anything."

"Yes, then."

Then for a while the silent journey of the sky continued.

When Miyagi (cucumber) became smaller.

"... I want power."

In a small voice, the Empress leaked a grunt.

"Power, is it?"

"Yeah, power. Human resources, economy, weapons. I want more power to protect my people."

……

Jen couldn't say anything to those words that squeezed him out of the depths of his heart.

But I borrowed the ears of Reiko, who accompanied me there, and Old Master listened firmly.

Hot air balloons safely landed in front of Miyagi Square.

Hands are taken by Jen, who stepped down first, and the Chancellor rushes over to the Empress, who has stepped on the ground again.

"Your Majesty, we are delighted to have you home safely"

"Yeah, thanks. It was a comfortable trip to the sky, nothing dangerous."

The Empress turned around there and smiled at Jen.

"Thank you, Sir Gin Nido"

We returned to the conference room in Miyagi.

There, Stearena and Vivian were waiting.

"Jin, she and Vivian became the second foreign registrant to reside in the Shawulo Empire."

The Empress explains herself. Too casual. The Chancellor looks troubled on the side.

"Oh, that's good. Will you continue to accept asylum?

It was such a casual question from Jen, but the Empress laughs and answers.

"Yeah, right. If the person is in real trouble,"

Speaking of which, there were rumors that His Majesty could identify the essence of the other person, Jen recalled.

If it is a false exile, can it be discerned even if it has the purpose of exploring the insights of the Empire of Shouro, or of going inside in time of war? That would be reassuring.

(No matter what I say, there are a lot of friends in the Shawulo Empire...)

As Jen, I can't help but want to put my shoulder in.

"... it is"

If I had thought about that, I would have missed part of what Her Majesty the Emperor said. It is very disrespectful.

But the Empress changed her mind and explained it to me again.

"That means we're going to keep the displaced for some time to come at the Randall family, Reinhardt's home. Plus Reinhardt was a diplomat."

Steerina, and Vivian. Empire of Shouro, which hosted two displaced persons for a short period of time.

Going forward, given the instability in the Kingdom of Celluloa, it is hard to believe that this will stop the displaced from coming any longer. So let's leave the receptacle to the Randalls first.

Jen was relieved to hear how the Empire of Shouro was. Because asylum was not granted and there was also an option to send them home.

Apparently, the Empire of Shouro gave priority to securing human resources over friendship with the Kingdom of Cellular.

Indeed, Jen had an honest feeling that it was hard to believe that he could maintain normal national relations with the Cellular kingdom today.

"That's why. Reinhardt, I will send a letter of appointment to your home, Count Randall."

At the end, the Prime Minister tightened it.

Jens, who stayed overnight in Miyagi's VIP room, left early the next morning. Thanks to this, I could still get to Koju at a certain point in the day.

"Oh, three outer ships, huh?"

Jen said as impressed.

Now, in front of Jens, besides the Scarlet Trail, produced by Reinhardt, there were two other ships of the same type.

"Oh, I guess I'll be taking charge of the waterway on Lake Tosmo in the future. As long as I'm happy as a magic engineer. But I have to apologize to Jin."

"Apologize for what?

Reinhardt said with a true face to Jen, who looked suspicious.

"Mass production of outer ships."

But Jen laughs off the line.

"That's what's extra. That's what Reinhardt just said. It's the pleasure of engineers to make things useful to people."

"I'm relieved to hear that."

But I have a proposition that you should do this.

"Oh, that's good! Let me hear it on the boat crossing to Banne!

Stearena and Vivian seemed to envy those two, and looked at them with a slightly mixed face.

"Dear Reinhardt, we are ready to leave."

"Oh, good luck. Okay, guys, let's go."

Reiko, Jen, Stearena, Vivien, Noir, and finally Reinhardt got on board and "Scarlet Trail" set off.

The 'Lorelei' of the mermaid-shaped golem is propelled back, making it faster than other outer ships.

Though summer, the wind across the lake is cool. Stearena and Vivian enjoyed their trip on the lake in the breeze.

And speaking of Jen and Reinhardt.

"... so let the deck out and cover the front and rear of the outer ring..."

"Hmm, that would make getting on and off easier..."

"You want a cover that avoids water splashes."

"Oh, and..."

I was really just talking about that all the time on the boat from Koju to Banne.

"... you're close"

Vivian's already looked past the shadow.

"Isn't that nice? Peaceful proof."

Stearena replies with a laugh.

The future is in opaque darkness. But the light that illuminated it definitely existed here.
