Magi Craft Meister
20-06 Randall Family
Meanwhile, time returns a little, November 17th, at night. The Empire of Shouro, the village of Kalz, the Hall of the Thief (Rankenhaos), its basement.
"Elsa, welcome home. I hear you, you're a big shot!
Reinhardt, his cousin, welcomed Elsa, who had arrived using the transfer gate (Warp Gate).
"Mr. Elsa, it's wonderful. We respect you."
Berche, the wife of Reinhardt, also sent a heartfelt tribute.
"Yes, but thanks. But thanks to Brother Jin. If Brother Jin hadn't been here, I'm sure he wouldn't have."
Reinhardt gently slapped his slightly humble cousin on the shoulder.
"Well, anyway, let's go up"
"Well, I'll make you some tea."
We moved from the basement to the reception room. Together. Bella the Samurai Automatic Doll (Automata) brought the tea.
"Now that I'm done with my business for the day, let me talk to you slowly"
Reinhardt sipped his tea and urged Elsa to talk.
"Yeah. First of all, Your Majesty told me that the King of the Kingdom of Klein is not feeling well..."
Then plenty of an hour, Elsa's story went on. Along the way, Reinhardt and Berche also pinched their mouths a little, but 90% of the time, it was Elsa who was talking.
That poorly spoken Elsa listened much...... and Reinhardt was heartened with joy.
"… and so on"
Moistened her dry mouth and throat with tea with a long explanation, Elsa closed.
"... well, the Viscount Randall family... didn't they tell you I could be interested in the Associate Baron family? That's amazing."
It's hard to talk about being able to rebuild a house once it's been torn down. So much so that home demolition is a tough measure.
"Yeah......"
But seeing how Elsa leaned down and wasn't too happy, Reinhardt seemed to have guessed something.
"Elsa, if you have a problem, why don't you talk to me?
"... Brother Rai"
"I've been with Elsa a long time. That face, it's a face with some troubles. Okay, why don't you tell me?
"... yeah"
To Reinhardt's kind words, Elsa began to dazzle.
"... to be honest and happy to be able to rebuild the house. But it's more about being tied to the country than it is now."
"... Hmm"
One nod, Reinhardt urged ahead with his eyes.
"Brother Jin is a free man. You should be free, people. I don't want to be such a shackle to Brother Jin"
"Is that why you're worried?
"... n"
Reinhardt put his arms together, closed his eyes and showed a bare gesture to think about for a while.
In the meantime, Berche asks Elsa a question.
"... Elsa, Elsa doesn't want to be shackled by Master Jin, does she?
"Yeah."
"But I want to be by your side"
To that question, Elsa nodded as she dyed her cheeks.
"... yeah"
"You like Master Jin."
……
Now the answer was not returned, but if you look at its face, which looks embarrassing, it is obvious.
"Oh, lovely things"
That's when Reinhardt opened his mouth.
"Come on, Belle. You're only one thing different, but you're not older. Look, Elsa."
"Oh well."
The Elsa turned bright red and leaned down.
"... I'm sorry, Mr. Elsa. I'm not gonna make fun of you."
Even so, Elsa remains on her knees. To Elsa like that, Reinhardt spoke quietly.
"Elsa, do you think Gin would lose his freedom that much?
"... Huh?
"He has knowledge of different worlds. And that's not something a country should monopolize. Your Majesty doesn't know he's from another world, but he thinks it's the pinnacle of stupidity that binds Jin."
……
"So Elsa should do what she wants.... You don't like this advice, do you?
Bent over, Elsa had her face intact and only her eyes pointed at Reinhardt. And in his eyes, there was always dissatisfaction.
"... then just one more thing. If you like your mother, be kind to her."
"... what do you mean, what do you mean?
Now Elsa's face is up. Its face is still a little red, but Elsa, wanting answers to Reinhardt's questions about the words, was no longer lit.
"Your home has been destroyed. This is the first premise."
"Yeah."
"You... no, in a common aristocratic house, a girl is seen as a role to dowry to a relative aristocrat somewhere. This is the second premise."
"... yeah"
When she heard the second premise, Elsa glanced (only) at her face a little.
"And according to the law of the Empire of Shouro, 'when the children of a hereditary nobleman are dowry, and thus no one is heir (thus), they can choose it from their near kinsmen', certain. This is my advice."
As he chewed up Reinhardt's words, Elsa remained silent with her face up, but eventually saw that she understood what it meant, and a grin appeared on its face.
"Brother Rai, does that mean... close blood relatives, for example, even Brother Mauritz?
"Correct."
Reinhardt nodded with a grinning smile. Belché is also smiling next door.
"filial piety, by which I mean..."
"As Elsa thinks. If you, who rebuilt the Randall family and became the master, were to marry someone else, you could nominate Lord Mauritz to succeed you. So the Randalls can survive."
Mauritz is the real son born to Marlene, Elsa's stepmother. There's nothing wrong with taking over the Randall family.
"You can go beneath the jinn without anyone wanting to."
"... ok. Thank you, Brother Rai."
Elsa turned into a sunny face when she had just visited.
but when Reinhardt understood the meaning of the last word he said… "Down Under the Gin," he turned bright red again and leaned down.
Such Elsa, Reinhardt hung up, staring with tender eyes.
"It's too late today. You should stay. I'll send you home tomorrow."
"...... hmm. Brother Rai, please."
By the way, Reinhardt didn't notice because he cleverly hid his left hand, but only Berche noticed Elsa's left hand pharmacopoeia ring.
And the next day, Elsa was visiting her parents' house. Reinhardt is with us.
"Mother, I'm out of time, I'm here"
"Auntie, we're out of time."
Elsa's stepmother, Mallaine, greeted the two with a bloody face. Ever since Elsa treated her, she seems to be feeling better too.
"Dear Reinhardt, congratulations on becoming a baron this time"
"Thank you"
And so on and so forth, Elsa preached to Mallaine the words of Her Majesty the Empress.
"Well, will you make me an associate baron and let me set up a family? Thankfully..."
Marlaine weeping loudly. But the next word I uttered was sober.
"... So, Elsa, what do you want to do? Are you rebuilding the Randall family? Or do you want to set up a house with another last name?
But Elsa's answer to that question was certain.
"We will rebuild the Randall family, I'm Elsa Randall von Lazula,"
"Really...... thanks, Elsa. Thank you, Master Reinhardt."
To Marlene, Elsa's feelings seem to have been conveyed. And it also seemed somewhat presumptuous that there was Reinhardt's advice behind it.
"Good for you, Elsa. Then, Auntie, I'm going home now. I guess Elsa's gonna slow down, huh?
"Yeah. Thanks, Brother Rai"
"Well, the day after tomorrow (tomorrow)... I'll pick you up the day before the deadline. Until then, slow down."
That is what Reinhardt said of his promise, and one returned.
