Magi Craft Meister

21-32 Sold Lake Ruins

January 9th, morning.

Jen, Reinhardt, Elsa, and Reiko were invited to the Magic Instruction Laboratory headed by Magic Minister Kerihidore in the outer palace.

This is the most advanced institution in the Kingdom of Egerea that is studying magic technology.

"That's what I want you to see."

There was a magic projection window (magic screen), an ancient artifact used as a monitor during the golem boat competition.

"Did you reproduce the Magic Screen?

"Mm-hmm. It's a good idea to reproduce it."

Kerihidore answered that humbly, but his face was still proud.

"On an experimental basis, I'm letting an investigative team out to the old kingdom of Leonard have it."

The screen I pointed to showed, indeed, how far away the land was.

but its image quality is not very clear, and the movement of the crew that sometimes shows is also cool. Looks like he's watching a movie with a comma drop.

"It's still a prototype, so there are a lot of problems, but the best thing about this magic device is that the equivalent of a Magic Eye (Magic Eye) can be smaller."

The magic minister goes on to explain.

"Easy to shoulder size. For that matter, this side, or Magic Screen, is getting bigger."

Still, it's pretty effective to be able to see what a distant team of investigators looks like. Too bad I can't pick up the audio.

"If you want to let us know something from the other side, write it in letters, and you can use your hand. but I'm afraid there's no way to get in touch from here."

Nevertheless, this is a major advance. Even if there was an example of an ancient artifact, it should be appreciated that the lost technology was reproduced and applied in this manner.

"It's a good idea to name the original name, so I'm going to call it Magi Monitor."

"Magi Monitor?"

Jen nodded and stared at the device.

"Does Lord Jin have any opinions?

"Right......"

Not at the level of being honest, etc.

The image is cuckoo because of the slow rate at which the data is sent, and the poor image quality is probably due to the low polishing accuracy of the Magic Eye (Magic Eye).

The whole apparatus is large, I guess there's also a problem with how to put together a magic control flow (Magi Sequence)......

But Jen knew as much as it was awkward to point them all out on this occasion. Because

"As for image quality, it's probably due to the low polishing accuracy of the Magic Eye."

and reserved it to point out the relatively acceptable content.

"I see, polishing accuracy... so many verses that come to mind when I think about it now..."

Kerihidore, who had his hand on his chin as he often remembered, nodded as he was convinced, thanking Jen.

"Hmm, thank you, Lord Jin. Let's try to be more careful about the next one."

"Yesterday, the investigation team arrived at a site called Soldrake. I've just started investigating the ruins in earnest today."

As the saying goes, the magic projection window (magic screen) showed a ruin that Jen had never seen before.

The ruins of Soldrake are located southwest of the old capital, Dia.

Meadows dotted with reddish rocks all around.

Although it lies north of Asunt, the capital of the Kingdom of Egerea, it is about the same temperature due to its low altitude.

but because of the proximity of the sea or the humidity of the air, compared to Asunt, which is inland. It was therefore an environment in which plants flourished easily.

There, a line of investigation teams was narrow but paved the way.

"All right, first Lord Jade, I need an investigation."

Bruno Tales Bright, captain of the investigation team, asked Jade Nefroy, a magician (Magicraftsman).

"Leave it to me"

In front of you are the ruins of a fortified exterior, built of red-brown sandstone.

These ruins often have magical seals and traps, and a good magician (Magicraftsman) can disarm them.

It's accompanied by Jade Nephroy.

The day before, I had actually lifted four traps and approached this door, but the time ran out due to sunset. The investigation inside had been carried over to this day.

Jade was investigating the doors and thoughts, but eventually looked back and reported.

"... you don't have any traps. It's just a seal. You can disarm this immediately."

As the saying goes, the door opened in about three minutes.

"Oh, it's open."

"There could also be a trap inside. Carefully, I hope."

"I got it."

And with the captain Bruno at the head, the line stepped inside the ruins. My lord is Jade, a non-combatant.

That was at 8 a.m. local time, 7: 15 a.m. in Asunt, capital of the Kingdom of Egerea.

"Hmm..."

Whoever pronounced it sounded impressed, convinced.

Inside, unlike outside, it was covered with marble-like stones, floors, walls and even ceilings, glittering in the light of a line of demonic conductor lamps.

"At times like this..."

Jade Nephroy lights' Ball of Light (Lightball) '. It's a magical light that's lighting up until the magic you've poured in runs out.

"Oh, it's brighter"

Its brightness is several times that of a demon guide lamp. Like when I changed a 20-watt light bulb to 100 watts for the analogy, the indoors were brighter all at once.

That gives me a good view of the details. The room is rectangular in longitudinal length. About 10 meters wide and 20 meters deep?

"Nothing."

There's nothing in there but the size of it.

"What's that?

No, there was something like a pile of rubble in the corner.

When I approached it, it was not very good quality, but it was demonic crystal (Magi crystal).

Though of low quality, it piles up to about the height of my eyes, so it seems worth a lot.

"There's another door in the front."

One knight pointed.

"All right, let's go"

There was no trick in that door, and if pressed normally, it opened.

Here again, Bruno, the captain, tries to step in. It is a staircase that stretches down if illuminated by a magic guide lamp in your hand.

"That's a basement. That's your destiny."

From the height of the ruins, I can guess if anything, it would be a basement.

Bruno thought a little and decided to leave the youngest knight on the spot.

"Taut, stay here. When something happens to us, please."

"Ha, ha!

Please, that doesn't mean you have to come and help me. It means informing the king of the danger.

As much as I perceived it, I could also be a young knight called this taut.

The stairs ran straight up to a depth of about twenty meters.

And beyond that, the door again. And naturally there's a room ahead.

"... What is this place?

It was a cramped room. In terms of size, it's like not even four and a half tatami. The ceiling is only about three meters tall.

"... is that the door again?

Metal doors on the front. Since a thick jar was hung from the inside, remove it carefully.

When this also opened the door carefully, there was a similar room and a similar door.

It was a large hall that we reached through three of these small rooms.

And there.

"Ko... is this...?

"... golem...?

There were countless golems lined up.

Height 2.5 meters. The outer shell is steel. Armed are swords, spears, sticks, axes.

I said countless, but if you count, that number, more than 500.

That's what I saw standing in the hall in front of me, with all the investigative teams besides the taut left in the backpack, and the faces of Jen, Reinhardt, Elsa, Reiko, and Magic Minister Kerihidore and the Magic Guide Laboratory glancing at the Magic Monitor.
