Magi Craft Meister

26-03 Cali Settlement

"Hey Jin, it was delicious!

After eating something sweet, green tea fits.

Jens was generous while drinking the tea Reiko had brewed for us.

"It wasn't even in the village, so I ate it for the first time but it was delicious"

Hannah was in a good mood too.

I could have taken it a little slower, but the clouds came out a little, so I decided it was time to leave.

From the deserted lounge to the Cali settlement is about 20 km.

"I want to get there before it rains. Edgar, let it fly."

"Yes, I understand"

The automobile on which Jens is riding is a prototype 1 modification. In other words, the maximum speed is loaded with a type of engine that can give you 100 kilometers an hour.

Nevertheless, it is usually up to 40 km/h because it is hung with a limiter.

The trampled road ran well and the distance narrowed smoothly.

A Kali settlement appears in front of Jens, who ran a distance of 20 kilometers in just over half an hour. The rain didn't fall.

A house made of stone and clay. Have some new objects grown in population?

As the automobile approached, a group of residents noticed it.

"What, you don't have a horse and it's moving?

"Is it the same thing as a bike?

"There's something like that in the east..."

A magnificent man, supposedly in his early forties, walked out of such a hedge.

Disappointed physique, sharp eyes. Scorched brown hair with grey eyes. It grows a short jawbeard.

(The skin colour...)

Jen did not put it in his mouth, but felt that the person was drawing the same blood as the Devil's squire, such as Lucas and Netros.

"Welcome, Guest. I'm Darrow, the head of this settlement."

Jen also heard the name from John Diney.

"It's called gin. This is Elsa, the national healer of the Empire of Shouro. This is Saki, an alchemist from the Shauro Empire as well. This is my sister, Hannah."

"It's Elsa."

It's Saki.

"Hannah, it's"

"And my automatic doll, Reiko. Saki's Automatic Doll (Automata), Aal. It's Elsa's automatic doll, Edgar."

As soon as I described it as an automatic doll (Automata), Darrow's eyes were opened.

"Oh, my God! It's an automatic doll! I've never seen anything so human! Lord Jin is a wonderful magic engineer."

"No. Your father is the Magic Engineer Magicraft Jazz. You're standing over all the magic engineers."

Reiko supplemented Darrow's words. Jen panics a little. I had no idea Reiko was going to say such a proud thing.

But he didn't have a bad explanation for that. Darrow was completely convinced.

"Oh, is that so?"

"Here's the paperwork"

Jen gives me a visiting permit and ID to Mitsuho, given to me by the Empress. Darrow received it and, looking through, bowed again.

"" Magic Engineer "Magicraft Jazz," Sir Gin Nido, welcome. We welcome you. "

After all, the writings from the emperor seem to weigh heavily, Jen thought.

"What? Another customer?

The woman who scratched the hedge and showed up. It has a peculiar accent. Jen thought it was a good idea.

Early twenties, burnt brown hair on slightly lighter dark skin, bright brown eyes. It's medium meat and tall, and the style is good. Who does this apply to?

"Uh, Maya, is that okay?

Called his name, the woman looked surprised.

"Heh? Brother, do you know about me?

"Ah, oh. Because I asked Mr. Oliver."

Actually, via John Diney, though. Maya was happy to hear it.

"Oliver, how are you?

"Yeah, I got a lot to tell you about this one."

"Oh well. Mr. Darrow, these people are also in charge. Yes?

"Oh, please, Maya. He's an important guest."

"Accepted."

Maya, who replied in a tone of relaxation, turns to Jens.

"Again, I'm Maya. I'm doing something like a conductor in this Cali settlement. Regards."

"Welcome. I'm Jin, this kid is Hannah, this is Elsa, and this is Saki, and Aal and Reiko the Automata doll, and Edgar."

"A lot of people. I'm staying, in one big room. Yeah? I don't even have a lot of places to stay in such a small settlement. All you have to do is have two rooms for one."

That's an interesting way, and when Jen was listening to Maya, she pulled her sleeve on Elsa.

"... shall we go?

"Oh, oh."

Soon Maya had started walking ahead of the line. The narrow settlement, though, was two minutes' walk straight, and we quickly reached our destination.

"Here or. I'm sorry, but can you do it on a self-catering basis?

"Oh, no problem. Well, let's get the car over here. Edgar, please."

"Yes!"

Responding, Edgar ran and picked up the car. Maya, who saw it,

"Awesome automatic doll (automata). I'm no different than a human being."

And I'm impressed. For that matter,

"Oh, and, uh, do you have any plans after this today?

I've asked Jen, for example.

"No, especially"

and Jen answered, laughing happily,

"Here, I'll show you around."

He offered.

Since there was no reason to say no, Jens decided to take the offer.

"The first thing I showed you was about five years ago, a magic engineer named Tenkun Han."

"You've only heard the name."

Jen recalled that there was an avant-garde figurine that Tenkunhan had made in the garden of a town inn called Hatata.

"But I heard you were a craftsman."

"Yeah, yeah. I've heard it too."

"Me too."

Except Hannah, she knew Tenkun Han, and when she said she was more of a craftsman than a magic engineer (Magi Engineer), Maya turned out to be a convinced face.

"I knew it. That's very helpful. I'm sorry."

and then said,

"Next thing you know, last year at twilight, you did a guy named John. That guy did a big deal. He fixed my bike."

And I told him to miss it.

"A bicycle."

When Jen hammered the nostalgic word, Maya looked like, heh. And asked Jen.

"Oh, you know what, a bicycle?

"Yeah, I know."

Jen answers honestly. Whatever it is, it's because I wanted to see the real thing on my bike.

"Oh well.... hey, I'll show you later.... Then this year, twice from the Shawulo Empire, a mission arrived. It's too late to connect national traffic."

What I came here to talk about was a small rocky mountain that could pomp out of the settlement.

It is paved and easy to climb. It's a natural observatory, so to speak.

"Look, take a look. From here on out, you can see the hard desert."

"Oh, really."

Looking at the Kali settlement north, I saw a harsh desert beyond the shrub belt. It turns out to be a rubble desert, not a desert desert. By the way, a large rock was protruding, quite different from Jen's image of the 'desert'.

If you look east, you can see the streets continue by sewing through valleys of gentle gradients.

Greens such as shrubs, grass and moss were seen there.

I've seen it many times in images sent from "Watcher," but when I look at it like this at my own eyes, I get another different impression.

"It's a beautiful morning and sunset from above."

Maya proudly explains.

"Whatever it is, it's been serviced this year. You're the first ones to climb up here and get a view."

It wasn't even in John Diney's report.

He was Jen, convinced in his heart.

"Well, let's go next"

Maya stood first and began to descend the Rock Mountain. Jens follows her, too.

"Next... Enjoy!
