Magi Craft Meister
28-28 Temple
"... birdhouse?
The 'gate' of a ruin that seems to have broken and fallen.
That, from what Jen saw, looked a lot like a shrine birdhouse.
"But are there some parts that are a little different...?
Looks like there's only one stick on the side. There must be two birdhouses.
"... well, okay"
We decided to leave aside the similarities with Toriya, and Jen gave Land21 instructions to investigate what looked like a ruin.
And wait half an hour.
Nevertheless, I'm watching footage sent by Land21, so I'm not bored.
"Oh, what is that?
And if you speak up, the old man will relay it so the Lands can see it better.
Three things I found out that way.
The first is that an animal-shaped stone statue appears to have been erected on the left and right side of the gate.
I picked up the fragments and assembled them, and found out that this was the case.
The second is that the colour of the gate was red.
The base of the broken gate was discovered, and that part was found because it had not yet deteriorated or faded.
And the third.
Things like broken gates are small. I wonder if the original height is around a meter.
"... shrine? No, a temple."
Jen associated the birdhouse with the dog from the broken gate and the animal statues on both sides.
"Suppose what looks like a building in the back is equivalent to a stone shrine,"
Looks like Elsa and Mirowina overheard such a solitaire.
"Brother Jin, what's a temple?
"Jin, do you have any idea what the ruins are?
"Er..."
Jen thought a little bit about how he explained it.
"... my hometown church... is it like? Yeah, a deserted church, maybe close."
"Jin, what's your hometown...?
"Ah."
He is Jen, who thought that he had not spoken to Milowina.
"Uh, I'll go into that later."
I'll tell you now. Because ruins take precedence over that.
"Brother Jin, that"
Elsa pointed to the screen.
When the Land Squad pulled back the pile of rocks, there was a small 'building' there.
I don't know what the rock was piled up for, but thanks to it, this' building 'was less damaged.
"... after all, a temple"
Whatever that looked like, it just looked like a stone shrine.
Let him thoroughly investigate that there is no danger around him, and it was an hour later that Jens stood in front of the temple.
"It's a temple no matter where you look from..."
Jen had eyes to see what she missed.
"Jin, is this the church?
In that position, which is too small, Mirowina uttered words of doubt.
"Yeah, this is called a 'temple', is it a building to worship God? By analogy, I didn't want the statue to rain, so I rested in a small building."
"Then I know"
Elsa also seems to have roughly understood the significance of the presence of the "temple" in her current description.
In the case of Shinto, there are more gods than statues, but Jen was not so familiar with them. In fact, in the case of God Tenjin (Lord Do-jin Sugawara) and God Yagami, idols are sometimes worshipped.
"And more than that, don't worry about what's worshipped inside"
He was Jen, who reached out to the temple, but was blocked by Reiko.
"Father, I don't know what's going to happen. I'll open it."
"Oh well."
Looking a little sorry, Jen pulled his hand in.
Reiko slowly approached the shrine and opened its door, but the spark seemed to have flown at that moment.
"Father, there was still a bond."
"Sounds like it."
Jen wouldn't even have been able to touch the door.
But Reiko opened the door as if there was no such thing as a bond.
"Inside... books, aren't they"
From the shape, I thought it would have been made by the Japanese, or 'Sage (Magus)' Shuki Tsetzi, so Jen is a little disappointed that there was no book, or diary or record, inside.
"But... what's that?
Since Reiko would not allow Jen to touch him directly, Jen, who peered into the shrine from a short distance, tilted his neck at what was contained inside.
"... some kind of statue, huh?
The statue, which seems to be made of slightly more transparent, white precious stones, appears to mimic an animal from what I have seen.
With four legs, the nose is thin and pointy, and the triangular ears stand perfectly.
It's also like a dog, but the tail is thick and big.
"... I knew it, fox,"
It was very similar to the statue of a fox dedicated to Inari.
"Reiko, can I try to take it out?
"Yes, Father."
On Jen's instructions, Reiko lightly retrieved the statue of the fox.
Looks like there are no more traps.
"Nothing happens. There seems to be no danger."
Reiko handed Jen the fox statue.
"Hmm."
Take it, Jen. I'll look into everything.
"... Brother Jin, that, animal? I've never seen it."
"Interesting shapes, Jin."
To the best of Jen's knowledge, there are no foxes in this Lauren continent. There is a frosted fox on the Gondor continent.
In that sense, it seems that the 'Wise Man (Magus)' would have made it with intent.
"This is a magic crystal, not a precious stone."
Poor quality, but looks like an all-attribute Demonic Crystal (Magi Crystal).
"" Inspections ""
I'll briefly find out what the Magic Crystal contains, Jen.
"Is this...?
Jen noticed something, at the same time a voice hung from Reiko.
"Father, there's a letter inside the door."
"What?"
Jen took a peek at you first.
"What... 'Read this... the made... statue... entrust'...? Japanese..."
And at the end it said Shuki...... tsi.
"It's definitely a relic of Shuki Tsetsi."
He said the junction was stretched, but it seemed to deteriorate considerably.
This statue was a recording device.
"Brother Jin, I could read it, so I don't mind if Brother Jin gets it."
"Right. It's yours, Jin."
Elsa and Mirowina also told him that Jen stared at the statue of the fox in his hand.
