31-04 Conversation with Sally

On August 4, Jen, accompanied only by Reiko, first visited the village of Kaina.

It's not from Nido Castle, it's from the transfer gate (Warp Gate) beneath the workshop.

This is why I used it when I was Jen as a 'private'.

"Welcome home, hon. Laeko, long time no see!

Same as always, no, just a little grown-up smile, and Hannah welcomed me.

"I'm home, Hannah"

"Hannah, it's been a while"

Jen smiles back, and Reiko replies.

Jen and Reiko walk straight to the village chief's house. Hannah also followed.

"You know, he said he made good wheat this year!

"Well, I'm glad to hear that"

Hannah talks a lot to me as I walk. Mostly a topic that Jen seems happy to hear.

"There's plenty of snow in the snow room, so we can store vegetables, and it's raining appropriately this summer, and everyone says it's a good idea."

The words I followed were also a solid pronunciation, and Hannah's growth can be felt in such a place.

He was also a little taller than Reiko at some point.

The hair also extends to about the waist, and its color is more lustrous than "dark gold" I would like to call it "antique gold".

"I took a bunch of Wileys and jammed them last time."

"Well, we're all doing a lot of things."

The villagers in Kaina Village are now able to acquire a lot of foreign currency, so they can also buy sugar through Eric's shop.

That's what they use to make jams.

I arrived at the village chief Geebeck's house while we were talking about that.

"Oh, it's a fine clinic."

Co-established is the clinic opened by Sally, who became Geebeck's wife.

Initially it was a Marutai hut, but it was then renovated, making it a splendid building with a clean looking appearance.

"Oh, there's a rare man."

Just as Sally peeked into her face from the clinic, Jen greets her.

"Hello, Dr. Sally"

"Hi there.... Geebeck is away now."

"Really? Let's ask the teacher."

"Hmm, you can ask me anything you want. I can't answer anything I can't answer."

Saying so, Sally invited Jens into the house, not the clinic.

"I can only serve tea now."

I was going to go buy it out later, to Sally, and Jen made Reiko give me the Persica fruit she was letting me have.

"This is a souvenir replacement."

"Oh, I'm sorry about this."

Sally, who received it with a smile, quickly peeled, cut it apart and put it out in front of Jens.

Hannah is just pinching one of those and breaking her face into deliciousness.

Looking sideways at the condition, Jen asked Sally.

"What I wanted to ask my teacher was the neighboring village… the village of Toka"

Sally goes to Toka Village for medical treatment about three to four days a month. So Jen asked Sally.

"Hmm, Toka village? Right..."

According to Sally's story, the situation in the village of Toka seems generally good.

He said the weather had been stable, especially since this spring and summer, so he was relieved that more harvests than he had hoped for in the past year and that the damage caused by the famine at the end of last year had also been alleviated.

In addition, he said that because Sally took the lead in efforts to spread public health, abdominal pain and poisoning have been severely reduced and few infections have emerged.

"My lord, Miss Lisia, is doing her best. I'm keen to study, and when I go to practice, I usually study with you and help you with a lot of things."

"Really..."

After all, Lisia is excellent, Jen thought. And it's always bullying where the hardest work is.

"Nevertheless, there are many limitations in a village lord as opposed to a region. Something's bothering me lately."

"Really..."

"When you get a chance, why don't you go talk to him as your neighbor?

Jen nods at Sally's words like that.

"Yeah, it's more like I'm here this time."

"Right. That's a good thing. Even though they are separated from each other, it is the next village. We need to help each other."

Sally said so and picked a slice of peeled Persica.

"I wish I could raise your book like it's in your castle library."

Hannah opened her mouth listening in silence until now.

"Oh, right. Ah, there are many things that should be widely disseminated. Especially when it comes to agriculture and health care."

I also agreed with Sally, so I thought Jen would be good enough.

"That would be nice"

The Empire of Shouro was given an automatic doll (automata) teacher named "Teacher", but even if not so much, it is also important to have such a reference book.

"I have wood paper..."

Printing technology has not been developed, but there is a "golem plotter" at Jen's. It's dozens of times faster than handwriting.

"I'll think about it. Thank you for today."

Just tided up that a villager came to the clinic saying he was injured while farming, Jen and Reiko, Hannah, left the village chief's house.

"A book..."

The books in Nido Castle are forbidden to be taken out because some of them contain quite advanced contents.

Hannah has deciphered most of it......

"If it's basic to public health and horticulture, I don't know if it's a problem"

Not to say agriculture, because Jen herself, or even Penglai, has some content that is trial and error.

There is also no guarantee that the plants of modern Japan and this Ars world have exactly the same ecology.

You'll also need to limit yourself to what you tried and did well and have them try in even smaller fields.

The villages of Toka and Kaina also seem to have different geology.

Jen talked to Mr. Lao, and thought that he could make such a "reference book" for the general public and give it away and sell it as appropriate.

"Oh dear, what are you going to do after this today?

Jen returns to me to Hannah's voice.

"Well, by the time the village chief returns, we'll just have another visit and talk a little bit."

"Well, shall we go swimming to the Hermé River after this?

"Oh, that's good too"

The sunshine in the sunny summer was strong and the sweat was erupting even after just a short walk.

Hannah seems to change into the one-piece swimsuit Jen gave her and walk to the river dressed in a straw hat.

Then Jen also decided to change on the second floor of the house and workshop and weave her hoodie like jacket and go.

Reiko is also dressed in swimsuit.

"Ooh, come on, come on!

Wanting to get into the water as soon as possible, Hannah ran for a small run, sometimes stopping and encouraging Jen and Reiko.

And it is the river Hermé if it passes by the side of Erdo Castle.

"Father, you've come a long way."

"Oh, yeah"

There were many children swimming in the river.

"Oh, to Jin - it's you!

Someone finds Jen and raises his voice.

"Really, to Jin-chan!

"To Jin-chan!

"Let's play!

Surrounded by the children who had gathered, Jen smiled.

"Okay! What do you want to play with?

The summer in the village of Kaina was brisk.
