Magi Craft Meister

42-08 Simulated Combat

A little time back, after Paellova and Jen broke up.

With Jed Alamoldo and 'Hope', Paellova went to the conference room.

"Damn, I just got here, but it's a busy thing"

"That's all you need to be wary of, Your Excellency."

And two and one get to the conference room.

"Regional Administrator, Paelova Sondvik, just arrived"

"Well done for coming."

It was the current Duchy King, Mikaylinov Hangazone Mercana, who spoke up. He is Paellova's cousin.

There were ten senators around it. It's commonly known as the "Committee of Ten."

"Well, is that the new golem?

'Peggin Borntov', obese with his bald head (especially), the leading presence of the Committee of Ten, uttered the word.

"No, this must be a new one, but it's a prototype one. We don't have enough material, so we can only get to this level."

"Hmm, you don't have to be modest."

"Peggin, why don't we start a meeting"

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Though there is no real power, the words of the Duke cannot be ignored.

From then on, the original agenda, including tax revenues from each town and crop crops, population growth and decline and street conditions, was discussed and information flew across.

"Hmm, looks like things are generally going well. Shall we move on to the last agenda, then?" New Technologies, "Let Me Hear, Paelova Sondvik"

"Ha."

Paellova handed out the materials she had prepared.

"Hmm?"

"It is a small ship equipped with an engine called 'Wind Injector (Air Jet)'. You can trace back the flow of the Nocina River. So far, we have been able to confirm the arrival and departure between the villages of Sogyon and Lireaz."

"Ho..."

Everyone seems to have attracted interest.

"It's slower than a carriage when you go back, but you can sail down twice as far as a carriage. I was wondering if it would be a good use for carrying taxes from villages on the river."

"Sure."

"When we go back, we thought if we pile up something light and worthwhile, it would be less wasteful"

"You're right."

"Then it's a car with a 'golem engine'. The body is diverting existing carriages in relation to the budget and materials…"

"Um, well done. Paellova, I assume the technician who developed this brought you in?

"Yes, it was developed by three 'teams', but it was a magician named Jin who was at the centre"

"Well... you have quite the skill"

"Yes, a continent."

It was Peggin Borntov who reacted to this word.

"... one belly aches with the first of the continents as much as I made two or three new magic guides"

"... what is it?

Actually, these two aren't close. It's more counterproductive than that.

"No disrespect. If you're in a local city called Lophone, you can't help but narrow your horizons."

"He said he had a narrow field of view!?

"Dear Left, the world is wide, there are a lot of good technicians"

"Even in this king's capital?

"That's right......." Gloma Tray "or something!

"Gloma Tray?"

"My lord, Gloma has created its own golem!

"Well, that's how easy my gin is."

Peggin glimpsed the 'Hope' he refrained from behind and laughed with his nose.

"Huh, do you have a technician flair that only poor golems can make?

"This, Peggin..."

The King embarrasses him, but Peggin Borntov has no ear to listen to.

The other ten members of the committee will just nibble and watch this development.

"Good, if that's all you want me to say, why don't we have a mock fight?"

Without seeing what the golem made by Gloma Tray was, Paellova slammed a challenging letter.

"It's where I want it"

Are you extra confident, Peggin Borntov nodded to Eagle Deep.

"... that's why it was a mock fight."

"... Really?"

Upstairs, Jen hurried down the stairs again and rushed to the scene of a mock fight.

And Jed Aramold, who found such a Jen, explained to me how it happened.

Soldiers hungry for entertainment rejoice in this show.

As a front seat, about three groups played mock fights (shamfights) to show them, and now Hope is playing against the Golem of Rome.

The first metal sound I heard was that of the soldiers' simulated battles (shamfights).

Jen thought that if I broke it in then, I could have done something a little more, but now it's a later festival.

I have no choice but to stare at the match that a stick of wood would not lead to destruction.

"... is that the golem made by Gloma Tray"

"That's right. Two people over there..."

Jed explained to Jen that Peggin Borntov, a small, obese body type, bald head (and especially), and the skinny man standing next to him, are Gloma Trays.

"... it's the only way... Hope isn't for combat."

There was no way to stop it at the earliest, trusting that it was a 'mock fight (shamfight)', Jen could only watch it happen.

Jen's 'Hope' is 160 cm tall. Skinny there. The opposing Golem of Rome is two meters tall, every other time. They are adults and children.

The two bodies were meeting with wooden sticks for a mock fight.

"Well, it's hard to do."

Peggin Borntov tells him to mock, but the Gloma Tray, standing next to him, was staring at the two fights with harsh eyes.

(... that golem, I was finally preventing it at first, but it seems to be getting more and more spare. No way, are you learning?

Yes, Jen hasn't taught Hope any combat skills. So I wanted this mock fight (shamfight), and I was using my speed to serve as a defense.

The golem of Rome is made of steel. The skeleton, the exterior.

Though it once has an Adrian-style endoskeleton, its weight becomes a pupil (aha) and it doesn't move so fast.

However, the weight and power of each blow is considerable, and if taken properly, the weight difference and the hop will be blown away. Hence Hope was in the grip of the opponent Golem's attack. Because the speed is twice as different, such a craftsmanship could be made.

But Hope doesn't turn into an attack with the best of his ability to handle his opponent's attacks either. That was because there was so much waste in movement.

Hope is able to recieve all the attacks because, for one thing, he has that speed. Even if it works big and wastes a lot, it covers everything at that speed, that was the 'early' Hope.

But the fact that Jen made it, that's not Dada.

Even when it comes to unsatisfactory performance as a Jen, his learning ability is many times higher than that of a lined golem. For Hope, the opponent Golem's attack was just the right teacher.

Foot is folded, feet are not raised unnecessarily when traveling.

When you do, enter the target's blind spot.

It is easy to be followed if avoided linearly, so the body is curved.

That alone makes Hope move more visible and better.

The soldiers were feeling Hope's improvement just as they were finishing those battle drills.

"Hey, that little golem, are you getting better and better?

"I thought too. It's definitely improving. See, I'm using my feet differently and avoiding them."

"Right."

As the soldiers put it, Hope learned the movement before learning the opponent's attack pattern and watching the timing of the attack.
