Magi Craft Meister
49-41 Jen's Rescue
"Conlon 3" flies for fire.
"Oh, wow..."
Jess, the man from the village who brought him here, sees and panics that this is the first time he's flown in the sky.
"Calm down. Now just think about putting out the fire"
Jen said, Jess seemed only a little calm.
Looking from above, I knew the scale of the fire was to be taken into my hands.
"Sometimes it didn't rain here, and the firehand..."
"Looks like it."
The forest under his eyes was burning with a red flame, and some of the adjacent villages were also raising smoke.
The flames are up quite high, but 'Conlon 3' flies over it without any intent.
"That's a lot broader than I thought."
Jen wonders how to turn it off. Water attribute magic is not user-friendly because water sources are not nearby.
"'Ultra-cooled (Absolute Zero)' would turn it off..."
I don't want to use it because all the organisms in the range will freeze.
"And then there's the barrier..."
We thought if we covered the range we wanted to extinguish with the wind attribute junction, the fire would be extinguished by the time we consumed the oxygen inside.
"Then... how to make them send containers with water in the transporter"
Etc. was considered by the time we got to the site and we decided to modify "super cooling (zero absolut)".
"Ultra-Cooling (Absolute Zero)" turns the thermal energy of the object to 0, but we tried to adjust this to reduce it to 40 degrees Celsius.
We need temperature, oxygen, and fuel for the substance to burn, but we need to extinguish the fire by lowering that temperature to 40 degrees Celsius below the ignition point.
What I would like to note here is that 'ignition point', not 'ignition point'.
The "ignition point" is the temperature at which a substance burns out when there is an ignition source, such as a spark, when it is above that temperature. It mainly concerns volatile liquids.
In contrast, the "ignition point" is a temperature that naturally burns out when it is above that temperature (assuming there is oxygen), with 232 degrees Celsius being the ignition point, for example, for sulfur.
Because forests are the main cause of the fire, it would mean that we should make it no more than 250 to 260 degrees Celsius, the ignition point of wood, but we chose 40 degrees Celsius, which is close to the body temperature of the mammal, considering the animals that live there.
This will do less damage to the animals, and the trees will be fine. Also, in the unlikely event of human involvement, there would be no adverse effects.
It was thought that even if it had an effect, it would be better than being caught in fire and burned to death.
While snakefoot, the firing point of yellow phosphorus is 30 degrees Celsius, but it is not the kind of substance that is present in large quantities in nature.
Furthermore, there used to be a match using yellow phosphorus, wherever it was rubbed, it had the convenience of igniting it, but the opposite risk was high, and also the toxicity of yellow phosphorus made it forbidden to manufacture, and it is the red phosphorus match that is currently in circulation.
"... here, thus..."
There is an engineering magic called "cooling", but it can also be described as a combination of "supercooling (zero absorbent)".
In roughly a minute, Jen engraved the Magic Crystal into the Magic Crystal, a Magic Formula (Magi Formula) that reassembled the magic control flow (Magi Sequence).
This is the creation of the impromptu "Cooling Magic Instrument".
"All right, Reiko, will you use this to extinguish the fire?
"Yes, Father, I'll take care of it."
Reiko jumped out of the emergency hatch of "Conlon 3" with the exfoliated Demon Crystal (Magi Crystal) in her hand.
"Ah!"
Jess raised her voice unexpectedly when she saw it. But...
"I'm fine. Watch. Here."
And, when Jen tapped that shoulder, pointing out the window, he now rounded his eyes.
There was no fall there, and there was Reiko flying at an altitude just a little lower than "Conlon 3".
When Reiko noticed Jen staring out the window, she raised her right hand and signaled, pointing the Demonic Crystal (Magi Crystal) downward and pouring in the magic for startup.
"Oh, I did it."
The magic guide made by Jen has the effect it aims for. Below Reiko, a radius of about 30 meters, the fire went out in an instant.
Reiko confirms it and flies at a speed that leaves' Conlon 3 'behind. Extinguish the fire from above the burning fire using a magic guide.
As I saw it, the mountain fire subsided.
"You managed to succeed."
Jen lowered his chest. At the same time, I thought I would improve this magic guide a little bit and let the nations, and also the World Guard, hold it as a "fire extinguishing magic guide."
While Jen was thinking about that, the fire was almost out.
Jen waited about thirty minutes to see if the fire would not start again, but apparently completely quenched the fire.
"Father, I'm home now."
And Reiko, too, came back from the emergency hatch she left.
At that level of fire, neither Reiko nor his clothes would even burn, just in case Jen did a check on Reiko and made sure there were no abnormalities.
"Thank you, Reiko. Well done."
and labored.
"Oh......! Oh, thank you!!
Jess, who saw it, bowed her head to Jen.
"No, not yet. Is your village good over there?
Jen pointed to the small village he could see under his eyes.
"Ah, yes"
Nearly a third of the village was burnt. Many have probably suffered burns.
"Edgar, land me in a square outside the village."
"Yes, I understand"
'Conlon 3' landed as some villagers stared far-flung.
Jess was the first one to come out of it, so the villagers, staring scared, appeased.
Then Jen and Reiko descend. Tension runs again, but Jess's,
"These people put out the fire for me!
To the voice, my vigilance blew.
"Oh!"
"Thanks!!
But Jen took control of such villagers.
"I'm from the Lords Randall family. I think the fire is fine now. Has anyone been burned or injured? We'll treat you, so get together."
Calling for
"Oh, my lord."
"Thanks!"
and about three people ran towards the village. Apparently Mauritz's reputation as a lord isn't bad.
About five minutes later, about ten villagers arrived, injured or burned.
When Jen confirms that there are no injuries in urgent need, she decides to hang the healing magic in turn. I wish you had brought Elsa, but later festival.
But I was fortunate that there were no serious injuries.
Jen himself can't use so advanced healing magic, so he's in charge of the lighter, leaving the rest to Reiko.
Eight were burns, one was injured, and the last one was burns and injuries.
Even when it came to burns, they weren't as bad as carburizing, so they could be cured beautifully with the intermediate healing magic "Recovery (Heirng)".
"Thank you, thank you......!
The villagers, who had been cured, bowed deeply just rubbing their heads against the ground and expressed their gratitude.
"No, more than that, was the house okay?
This question meant that there were no burnt houses, so it is reassuring for now.
"Then I will carry relief supplies after this."
And Yan Jen told him, and as he boarded 'Conlon 3' again, he flew into the twilight evening sky.
The villagers were appreciatively dropping off 'Conlon 3', which aspires to the Randall Mansion south of the road.
When Jen returned to Randall Mansion, he made a report to Mauritz.
"... and that is. I didn't move on my own."
"Oh Lord Jin, I can't thank you enough. Don't tell me you moved on your own."
Mauritz bowed his head deeply.
"Because the damage would have been even greater if things had not been dealt with immediately.... Then you can send the supplies."
"That's what I'm talking about"
Jen nodded.
"Now let's send some food and some building materials."
Mauritz stopped immediately and proceeded with the arrangement.
Jen, who saw it, thought that this brother-in-law was still a good lord.
