Magi Craft Meister

52-25 Knowing the Past

Jen D and Reiko are back on April 25th.

After a day off in Penglai, Jen was reporting back to Theon in the 'Nord Federation'.

"Yeah, that was tough. Good day, Jin."

Theon hung up his words of labor when he learned that Jen had gotten into a lot more trouble than he thought.

"So I wanted to ask Theon."

"... about that thief Golem, right?

"Yeah. You know anything about that?

"Right...... maybe Malika knows better than I do. Let's call it."

So when I called him on the Magnetic Communicator (Manacam), Malika came in a hurry.

"Welcome home, Master Jin"

"Hey, Malika. Fast..."

Jen gave a description of the golem he met in Blueland.

"Golem not adriana or spherical articulation, is it"

"Yeah. You know anything about that?

"Yes, just a few..."

and put it in front, Malika talked out loud.

"First of all, on the assumption that the Fluid Deformation Power Fluid Form Drive did not end up becoming mainstream. It was too heavy."

Demonic mercury… uses the magic isotope of mercury (Magia isotope), whose specific gravity is about 13.5.

It requires metal armor as a container and exterior, so an adult male golem weighs as much as 900 kilograms.

If I add the weight of my weapon, I'll be close to a ton. It weighs for thirteen human soldiers. This is too heavy and user-friendly.

It is difficult to travel by airship again.

"I know that. But magic rocks and magic resins won't have more power than magic mercury."

"It is. So when the Spherical Joint Formula was established, I thought it was a major transition period."

However, 'spherical articulation' did contribute to lower costs, but was inferior to 'Adriana' in terms of visual things such as elegance of motion and endurance in extreme situations.

"It couldn't be used for human-like automatic dolls."

Malika speaks in a smug voice to remember the time.

"Disseminating golems and automatic dolls (automata) was a goal for every country in the world, in the sense of securing the workforce. But it wasn't as cost-effective as I thought."

"I see."

It may be easy to understand by analogy with the spread of private cars in modern Japan.

In the 1930s, 'private cars' were seldom popular in the general household.

However, during the period of advanced growth, when the Tokyo Olympics were celebrated and the capital city was maintained, 'private cars' began to spread as a kind of status.

And after the oil shock, it became popular in the 1950s under the name 'mike', and it was generalized all at once in the 1960s, when it had a bubble economy.

Also during the dawn of the automobile, Henry Ford, known as the Automotive King, sent a groundbreaking model called T-shaped Ford to the world, where mass production through flow work lowered what was $950 (then) at the highest price to $290 (then) at the cheapest price.

gossip.

As with automobiles, there was also a group of technicians who thought that the cost reduction of the golem would be brought about by mass production.

"He was a member of the Gin Family."

Malika says.

"I should not have known about the existence of Penglai because it is not of direct descent, but someone who has read the literature of the library at Nido Castle in the village of Kaina and at the mansion of Roizato, the Imperial Shouro"

"Ho."

"I don't know the name either. Back then, I was trying to educate myself in the Nord Federation."

"Right.... That's fine. The edge of that Jen family...... are they descendants? but you're saying you've developed a new way?

"I just think so"

Here, Jen speaks one question.

"Hmmm... then how did it not spread?... Oh, could it be"

And along the way, I thought to myself why.

"Yes, it's because of the Magic League and Marchitas"

"Was I?"

Malika will then isolate the immediate descendants of the 'Jen family' to 'Onogoro Island'.

"I see. I know more or less. Thanks."

"I'm glad I could help you."

It was Malika who chewed at the end.

A sigh of relief, Jen continued his conversation with Theon, Malika and others.

"So don't mean the bandits found the golem made by that engineer."

"That's what's gonna happen."

Perhaps the Duke of Blu will interrogate the bandits and reveal their location.

"You're interested in the place. Where is it?

It was Theon who answered the question that could be called such a question.

"Isn't that what you can accompany if you tell the Duke of Blu?

"Or so it is."

As for Jen, I want this technology to be spread throughout the world.

It only requires that what is in the public domain find a technological heritage and help the world.

And it was, and this is it, and Jen wanted to see the legacy at first sight.

"I just want to see it one step ahead..."

And, there, Reiko, who had been silent for so long, opened her mouth.

"Father, he said you knew about the matter. To be precise, they've been monitoring the interrogations that took place at the Duke of Bleu with a 'peep telescope (peeper)' all along."

For this reason, I also know what I confessed.

"Oh well. So, where is it?

"Yes.... they say it's Ft. Talks, Rebus region in the eastern part of the Kingdom of Celluloa"

"I see. It was definitely near the border with the Kingdom of Klein, wasn't it?

"Yes, there is a fort nearby"

"Father, there..."

Reiko began to explain to Jen what she knew.

At the time, countries said they had put laboratories in the regions to conduct various studies.

I didn't put it in the center simply because there wasn't a lot of land.

Because such research often requires extensive land for experimentation and field testing.

When it came to travel, there were means such as transfer magic formations and airships.

The Ft. Talks had a fort that they once built in a time of conflict with the Kingdom of Klein, so they renovated it and turned it into a laboratory.

"Then it would have been because it was big, the building was solid, the residential facilities were there, and it would have been exhaustive."

Jen imagined that user-friendliness would have been poor.

"I guess there was a motivated researcher"

Imagine the buzz of the day, Jen.

Then Jen thought I'd go check on her first.

Jen stepped on that he was likely to be able to afford another couple of days because he would need some formalities as he went from the Kingdom of Egerea to the Kingdom of Cellulose.

"What about Theon and Malika?

"I'm fine."

"Wow, I won't, either."

Since neither of them would go, Jen returned to Penglai with Reiko.
