59-33 Artificial islands

On January 28, the foundation of the artificial island that was the base of Deus Ex Machina, which was being built on the month (unique), was completed.

It took a full two days to fly to Ars.

On January 30th, it is now floating in the gentle Tatsumi Bay of the waves.

"It's a cylinder a kilometer in diameter and a kilometer in height, and the bottom is a little rounded out, not flat."

I saw the shape before it landed. Reinhardt said it was puffy.

"Oh, yeah. So, we're gonna build an island on the flat side."

Jen says.

"You're gonna put a rock on it first, aren't you?

"Yeah. If it's dirt, it spills, it's scraped by waves."

The perimeter shall be a cliff surrounded by rocks, and soil and vegetation shall be used inland.

As for the rocks, they are loaded inside the body and brought from the moon (unique).

Most of them are remnants that took the necessary resources from the fragments of "Long Period Planet" or mines (here's the deal).

Let's make the most of it.

"Do you want Daedara to do that?

"Don't be. It would be fast if we did it with five 'didaras'. 200 Smiths will help you."

"Well, that would be fast"

Rock masses stick to the body using engineering magic such as "fusion", "bonding", "bonding", etc.

Basalt, Anshan rock, olive (Kanlan) rock, serpentine rock, condensate, etc. were joined to the body one after the other.

Flat at first.

The central part has about 200 metres of mountain skeleton, and if you stick stone to it, it's the completion of the mountain.

"Daedara" carries stone, and "Craftsman (Smith)" sticks it together and adjusts it.

"Oh, that's a great view."

Reinhardt is impressed.

The other members are watching in the lab's large magic projection window (Magic Screen), but only he and Jen are viewing it in the field.

I don't get tired of watching the dull silver surfaces covered in rocks as I look at them.

In about three hours, the coverings by the rocks were completed.

"That's fast."

"Let's have lunch while we can"

While a detailed rework was under way, Jen and Reinhardt moved to the laboratory cafeteria to have lunch.

"Oh, it's grilled noodles today"

The sauce-baked noodles were for lunch.

Cabbage, meat, as well as cherry shrimp, is fragrant.

When Jen hung plenty of her favorite green seaweed, it smelled good.

"I saw it on the Magic Screen, but it looks like it's almost over."

Eating, Saki told me to check.

"Yeah. I guess all we have to do is make the irregularities a little even, see if there are any glitches in the joints, and process them into a moderate weathering condition"

Because I can't explain that if I don't leave it weathered, I took it over from my predecessor Makina.

"What do you do with armed?

Marcia asked.

"Four hundred years ago, I felt like Deus Ex Machina was more armed than I was."

"Maybe he did."

"So, there's the 'Magic League' thing, and I want to keep it more powerful than 'Avalon'. Of course, hang tight on security."

"Specifically?

"The basics are" Magicanon "and" Laser, "and" Torpedoes. "Oh, and Magic Transcript Cannon.

Magic Transfer Cannon is a cannon that unleashes a variety of attack magic, including Flame Spear and Thunder Javelin.

"Most of them, I've never used them in action."

"What's going on with the defense?

Rodrigo asks.

"Uh, Magic Barrier, Physical Barrier, Boundary Shield, and Defensive Shield."

The "Shield of Junction" is not a barrier that unfolds spherically or hemispherically, but rather in a circular shield.

On the other hand, it is characterized by high defense, direction, that is, helplessness in attacks from directions where the shield is not oriented.

"Defensive Shield (Aigis)" is not a junctional system, but deactivates an attack by severing the continuity of space. It is by far the strongest defensive weapon, having even prevented spatial vibration.

"What about the resident golems?

Toa has been asking questions.

"Air Force (Air Force) Golem Sky Squad from 1001 to 1100. Marines in the Navy Golem, 501 to 600."

Jen will explain.

"Army (Army) Golem's Land Squad from 1001 to 1100, and Navy (Mariner) Mermaid Squad from 101 to 120. There's no cosmic connection."

"I guess that's enough.... Oh, what about everyday life?

"Butler e the butler golem and two five-color golem maids each...... the maid's numbers are 103 and 104. Besides, maintenance personnel think of Craftsmen 101 to 120."

"I see."

That would be enough, Toa said.

"Hey Jin, what are you going to do with the island's management brains?

And, questions from Beana.

"Of course I'll prepare it. I mean, I've already set the tentative. Otherwise, you won't be able to fly this far from the moon."

"That's true, isn't it"

"After this, I plan to get more performance and set it up officially"

"... So, what's your name? Oh, so is the island."

"Hmm, I haven't decided yet"

As for Jen's proposal, he may think about making the island 'Olympus' and his brain 'Poseidon'.

It comes from Greek mythology, but Poseidon, the sea god, is fine, and Poseidon's base is not Olympus. Olympus is the name of the mountain in the first place.

Another idea is that the island is "Dragon Palace" and the brain is "Princess B." I don't know how much this one is, Jen himself thinks.

"I was going to ask everyone for their opinions.... What do you think?

"Right... even if they say so suddenly"

I'll think about it, Reinhardt.

And Jen decides to go to Tatsumi Bay again because it's about the end of the cover by the rocks on the island.

So, I can't observe the island as it is, so I decided to go on 'Pegasus 2'.

"Oh, this is good"

The artificial island overlooking the sky was quite well made.

"There's just no Tatsumi Bay, sounds like a miniature Penglai Island"

There is a mountain near the center, one side of which is flat. We plan to build a building there as a laboratory or base.

"If you look at it this way, it's a lonely island at sea."

The thought of making this one a 'houray' makes Jen's head.

Because that would also be a cover for the original 'Penglai'.

But I thought it might be more difficult than I imagined, so I stopped putting it in my mouth.

"Is it Okinawa? There was also an ideal place called Nilai Kanai..."

Jen thinks about the name, looking down at the island.

"Or Nordic mythology... I don't know much about it."

It was always a struggling Jen blur in naming.
