Two horses run down the street. That speed isn't that fast, and it's fast enough not to force the horse. Still, it's faster than pulling a carriage.

Five days early at that rate. My breasts rang naturally in the mountains of my hometown where I finally could see them.

"The second half of the day?

"Right, I knew I'd be tired of traveling on horseback. I wanna take a bath."

"Was there a bath in the village?

"It's not too bad to make it at this time..."

"You're going to scratch a sweat before you go in."

If I recall, I don't have a bath in my hometown that I normally use nowadays, but I wiped my body with cloth and jumped into the river. I guess I did.

While I am once again surprised by the gap between town and village, I feel nostalgic for it.

We got three weeks off from the Commander-in-Chief, and the day after that we just started getting ready and came running down the street for the village with a horse we rented with the start of our vacation.

It was at first that a number of towns and villages dotted along the streets, and there was no difficulty in staying there, but on the fourth day it was gradually harder to reach the village in the course of the day, and even if it did, it was sometimes refused that it could not afford to stop.

Well, it would have affected our everyday clothes. If he was dressed as a knight, he would have entertained him even if he was a little pushy.

But I'm on vacation now. Exactly. I could feel it coming out of the top as a soldier. We even honestly gave up wild boarding and revealed the night.

Such a journey ends today. The two borrowed heads are doing well and weather is good, and they are likely to reach the village without any problems.

"Even so, it's still a long way off. I might have to think a little bit more about going home."

"You also rent horses every time. We have to take care of him in the village."

"Do you want to buy a magic guide car? There should only be a reward for this medal."

Not only the Medal of Honor, but also a large bounty should come out of the country. With that, one or so of the wizards would be able to sustain it enough.

If you pack as much magic fluid (Magia Liquid) as you can in the carrier, you should have about a round trip amount of fuel.

"That might be good, too. Speaking of which, he recently came out with a Magic Two-Wheeler. It's compact, it's not as expensive to maintain as a demon-led car."

"I heard that too. But I don't think I can put much of my stuff on it."

The Magic Guide two-wheeler is a motorcycle. Maintenance costs are cheaper for smaller cars than magic conductors, and less fuel is needed. However, the driving distance is shorter than that of a magic guide car, and the luggage can only be put on to the same extent as a horse. I'll be with Angus when I get back anyway, so my luggage should be for two, and I feel like the Magic Wheeler is better than the Magic Wheeler when I think about it.

"I'll buy it too, you two for a walk or something?

"Touring. But you're pretty critical about Angus' salary, aren't you?

"Hmm, could be tough"

Angus looks at his salary and cost of living.

Supporting maids are only paid the same salary if they join the Armunale squad, but that's still a little tough to cover maintenance costs. A man might still be fine, but Angus is a girl. I went out of town and found out about the cosmetics.

If I became captain, I would also make allowances, and that would be the level that even women would finally have. I don't think I'd buy a magic steering car without a bounty either.

"Well, if I buy one, I'll give you a ride next door."

"Hmm, you have that too!

Angus said so and thumbed up after a bit of trouble.

"Well, either way, a month from now."

"I don't even know when I'll be able to come next, and you can take your time choosing. Maybe we should have a place to keep it."

"I hope I have time to look into all this."

Information from other blocks of defense forces is rising that the Empire's movements stink.

It is a matter of concern that this unprecedented large-scale invasion is somewhat active.

Intelligence that was lurking on the enemy side was also found to be devastating. I don't know how long it's been taken over, but I guess intelligence units have been devastated for quite some time to see the number of enemies.

Given those, I didn't really think I'd have time to look into them slowly in the future.

"Now think about going back to the village and taking a good breath"

Let's go home. If you look difficult just thinking about it forever, you'll worry about your family too. Sometimes it may be a good idea to take off your wings as much as you want.

"Right. Look, I see smoke."

As we moved on, we found white smoke rising from the woods, and Angus stepped up the tension. The first village in three years is almost there.

Running for a while, I saw the village fields. We walk down the horse.

Have you already finished your work today, I don't see the villagers in the fields?

"You haven't changed."

"Right. I left when I left."

But the beautifully organized fields showed that the village was still alive.

And, you can see the entrance to the village. From beyond, we hear lively talk, some of them laughing like children.

Maybe we had a baby after we left the village. If we were born right after we left, we'd be about three years old, and it would be time to run around a lot of different places.

And one of the villagers noticed us. When the villagers saw us in surprise, they rushed off somewhere. That's what you told your parents.

"It's going to be noisy"

"I wrote a lot in my letter, Eldo, and I think you should be pissed off a lot."

"Hey, what did you write!?

"I don't know."

Angus enters the village with pleasure. I'm gonna throw up one sigh and go after it.

Then some villagers run like they panicked from behind the village.

Seeing that, me and Angus stopped by accident.

Well, of course. It's my mother and Angus' parents.

"Angus!"

"Eldo!

The mothers held us as they ran straight to us.

I wonder what's wrong with me, but for now, I stroke my mother's back. I guess the reason I feel a little shrunk is because my back has grown.

"I'm home."

"Welcome back. How have you been? Don't you have a cold? Do you have the money right? Have you ever been bullied by a colleague?

The question that comes up early on is exactly my mother's phone call to my son who went to Tokyo.

Even if the world is different, it's the same thing to worry about.

With that in mind, I answer with a smile and no problem.

Angus' family was also happily embracing Angus. Over there, he's not so worried in terms of his life because he sent out letters on a regular basis. Well, I'm the next room in dorm life. He used to come to my room.

"Is Dad a hunter?

"Yeah, I've been working hard in the morning because I've only hunted one this year."

"Oh well. Then I guess I'll be back in the evening."

"Yeah, we'll talk about it all by then."

"Oh, there's so much we need to talk about."

I broke up with Angus and the others, and I came back to the house where I was born.

"I miss you. I haven't changed."

"I'm fixing everything. But you can't afford to rebuild it."

"Send it? This one's paying, and I can afford it."

"What are you talking about? Dad's still active, so spend the money for yourself."

"Copy that. Well, tell me when it gets tough. Because if you can afford it to that extent,"

Oh, my God, you're the captain of the Armunale team!

"There are many places that don't change, but there are many things that have changed."

"Really?

I don't think the countryside of the border will change a lot soon after about three years.

With that thought tilting her neck, her mother enters as she opens the door of the house with a grin.

I walked into the house with doubts and noticed the change.

"Crib?"

One crib placed in the corner of the living room. That's what I used to use, too, but it must have been in storage as it grew.

And a small life that moves around in it.

"I was born last year. Her name is Emina."

I had a new family.

"It's more fun to hang hands than Eldo. Your father fell in love with you."

"Well, it's my first girl."

I'm going to cry when I get close to the baby with that vicious face, but what about the area?

"Dad, aren't you crying?

"I wonder if my parents will understand? I always laugh when your father holds you."

"Heh."

Kids are amazing. No, I'm a father's kid, too.

With that feeling in mind, I glance at the crib. Emina suddenly showed up. You're surprised at her unknown face, she's solidifying with a gaze on my face.

And when my mother peeps in from next to me, she joyfully stretches her little arm toward Nicole and Laughing Mother.

Mother took that arm and held Emina up.

"A year old means it's time to stand?

"Right, now I'm standing tight, but I think I'll start walking in a little while. Emina wants to walk fast, and she's working hard."

"Oh well."

I wonder how it was when I was there. I think I tried pretty hard to walk fast, too.

As I looked at Emina and remembered the old days, my mother asked me with Emina in her arms.

"Do you want to hold Eldo, too?

"Are you okay?

I am anxious to drop it. Emina is huge being held by her mother, but whether she is hugged by someone she first met today or not.

"It's okay, because if you hold him properly, he won't fall off easily"

"Okay."

My mother tells me I'll take Emina.

Because my neck is already firmly seated, I turn my arm under my ass so that I can sit on my arm, with my body behind my back, and my other arm like a seat belt to Emina's belly.

When I tried as I was told, Emina was completely delivered into my arms. Thanks to my mother being nearby, I don't see any rumbling or mugging.

"You know, like I said, right?

"Oh. Babies are pretty heavy."

Maybe the weight applied firmly to the arm isn't just the weight.

"Emina, come on"

Mother speaks in baby language as she pokes Emina's cheek. Emina, who doesn't quite understand the words yet, laughs happily with her cheeks poked.

"Look, Eldo, too"

"Huh? I'll do it too!?

"You're my brother, naturally, aren't you? Here."

"Oh, wow."

I didn't have any brothers in my previous life either, so I don't know how to deal with them, but is that really okay?

"Emina, it's your brother."

Sleeping gently, Emina laughs tightly again.

Is it okay to be like this?

And since Emina started reaching out to her mother, I give Emina back to her.

Emina nodded her face on its chest as she happily hugged her mother.

"Looks like your mother would be more comfortable holding you."

"It's my mother's privilege. Your father will be home soon, and we have to get dinner ready."

"I'll help."

"Put your bags down and ventilate the room. I've been cleaning regularly, but I think it feels better to keep it ventilated."

Copy that.

The air just doesn't use the room for a day. Well, thank you for cleaning me up.

I headed to the room I was using, as my mother told me.

Finishing the room ventilation and packing, I watch my mother cook back with Emina in the living room. Emina started laughing at me even when I hugged her because she recognized me as her family.

"Your mother is no different."

Having Emina doesn't change its shape and always seems to have fun with Nico. Seems a little more twitchy, but still will still look somewhat younger than its actual age.

With that in mind, suddenly the front door opened in momentum as she was holding Emina's head.

When I look at you in surprise, my breathless father stands sweaty.

"Is it true Eldo is back!

Like so much haste, Emina freaked out and grumbled. I'll just stroke my head and gently tickle my jaw. Then Emina quickly regained her smile.

Tickle your jaw and laugh, you're kind of like a cat.

"Dad, you're surprised Emina. Open the door a little quieter."

"Ah, oh. Sorry. Eldo, you really came home!

"I just got a vacation. I'm home."

"Well, I knew you officially became an Armunale pilot in a letter from Angus, but are you doing well?

"Absolutely. Now I'm assigned to the same unit as Angus, and I'm working with you."

I was assigned, or I volunteered to be assigned myself.

"What about your father? Are you hurt in the hunt or something? It's time to be old, so be careful."

"Absolutely. There's one new hunter in the village, so I'm educating him now, but I'm still active."

"Well, the village is changing a little bit."

They don't seem to have changed, and like Emina and her newcomers, some of them have changed a little bit.

And my mother comes from the kitchen with food.

"Welcome home, Father. We can have dinner, so let's talk while we eat. Your mother wants to hear a lot about Eldo."

"Right."

Over dinner, I told him what life I've been living.

Developments in Fortran. Companions and instructors at the Academy, Mr. Rene the Master, thirty-one squad companions, first battle, enemy invasion. There were also a few military secrets, so I couldn't tell them all, but I still couldn't tell them all at dinner time alone, and I kept talking until Emina grunted out.

My mother takes Emina one foot ahead to her bedroom, and now my father and I talk over tea.

"You've been through a lot."

"Oh, now I'm gonna be captain, and all I don't know"

"But my people trust me, don't they?

"What do you think... there's no choice because the captain's gone?

I don't think I can leave all that to a new America that has only been in the force for six months. I just might have no choice but to obey the pilot because he's decided to be captain. Such anxiety is attached to me.

"I do understand your anxiety. But that's the only way Eldo will win trust from now on. It's the first time anyone's ever done that before. Are the men of Erdo's troops like abandoning them because they can't do it from the start?

"No."

We've only been working together for a short time, but I can tell you that's different.

Those people are not such narrow-minded people.

Otherwise, you wouldn't immediately follow my support on that battlefield.

"Then the rest is Eld. To win trust, you have to trust them first."

"Thanks, I feel a little relieved"

I'm feeling a little sleepy when I'm relieved that I'm tired of traveling.

When I yawn, my father laughs bitterly and takes my cup with him to the kitchen.

"Are you here for a while?

"Maybe three or five days. Considering the travel time, I'd like to leave in about seven days, even if it's too late."

The journey does not always go smoothly. If it rains along the way, the speed of travel will be significantly slower, and there is no zero chance of anything getting in trouble.

Thinking about it that way, I wanted to let you have about ten extra days to travel.

"Well, then you can take your time. The village is also changing slightly. You think it's funny to find that, too?

"I feel it when I look at Emina. When you go into the village, the fact that you heard a child's voice means you were born outside of Emina, right?

"Oh, a few of them. Those of you who were so anxious to disappear and have no trace have worked so hard."

"I've never had as many children as I've ever wondered."

Even though there were a few children leaving town, the number of children in the village was still small. I'll be gone anyway. The village where such an idea was spreading was certainly in danger of doom. But now there are more children in that village.

"This village is still going to work hard. Thanks to Angus' regular letters, the merchants started showing their faces on a regular basis. A little something from town came in and made my life easier"

"I'm sorry. Don't write to me."

"Not at all. Just think about your mother's anxiety."

Apparently, my mother was quite anxious that no letter from me came at all. Did that also affect Emina's birth, or she was having a difficult birth? She is now able to live without problems, but immediately after she was born, she was terribly tired.

Listen to that and reflect just fine.

I'll make sure you get it out on the first of the month.

"Do so. Well, your mother seems to ask Angus to keep an eye on you, so you won't be able to skip it."

"Trouble......"

Angus comes to my attention urging me to write a letter.

"Well, I've been up late. It's time for a drink."

What my father had back from the kitchen was two glasses and a bottle of booze.

"Are you okay with the hunt tomorrow?

"You're gonna help me, aren't you?

With a bitter smile at my father's answer, I received a glass.
