Chapter 262: Ch 262: Bandit Encounter
After starting the journey once more, everyone saw a beautiful riverside area and this location was so beautiful that even though they did not need a break so soon, still the the men and the ladies decided to stop here and enjoy the scenary for a little bit.
As everything was proceeding smoothly, Weiss and her team were in no hurry. So not enjoying the journey would be a foolish thing to do.
So, everyone inserted their feet in the flowing cold river water and relaxed while chatting. Taking this opportunity, Frank asked his goddess a question.
"Lady Weiss, what happened to the assasins you have kindly recruited ? Are they still staying in the same city ?"
Hearing this question, Weiss immediately gave him the answer. They were not in that border city anymore. Instead they were on their way to the Souran territory.
As she was not sure when she would be able to return back, keeping these people under her direct control would have been a great waste. That was why she had sent them to the Souran territory so that they could help her out in some way even without her being present.
For the assassins of the Hidden Shadow, after a successful high profile mission, they were advised to lie low for some time. They were allowed to take missions during this rest period to earn money but they could only take espionage and such missions that included little to no combat.
So using this rest period, all three of the assasins had taken on a long term mission to investigate the Brightshine kingdom. With this excuse, their crossing the border had not looked suspicious at all.
Hearing this, Frank nodded his head again and again with fascination in his eyes. He was truly impressed by how his mistress always had proper plans ready.
Just like that, all the group members had a good time in the river side but as they were about to end their little break, suddenly even the super cold Weiss got a little bit excited.
That was because a decent amount of people were suddenly starting to surround their group. And who could these men be if not bandits.
She was thinking about using her poweful senses to casually find them while she was on the road, but these bandits were kind enough to deliver themselves before her door. Which was something that Weiss was happy about.
Alongside Weiss, Elise also noticed them soon and after a little bit, Evan was on the same page. Weiss then told Evan to stay here and protect the other two while they two ladies would be going on a little bandit hunting.

Aramna was a famous knight working for a count. He was paid well there, regularly slept with the wife of the count and had a very easy and fulfilling life.
But all of this came to an end when in a moment of weakness, he ended up stealing and selling a rare potion that the count really loved.
The count was perfectly fine with Aramna sleeping with his wife. He did not even mind when this man took his daughter’s virginity. But stealing a potion from him, that was something he was unable to tolerate.
So the count not only punished him harshly, he was even humiliated in the public. The only reason why he was able to leave with his life intact was because of his strength that he had managed to maintain even with his super easy lifestyle.
After he was successfully able to run away, Aramna was burning with flames of revenge. So in order to ruin the life of the count who had humiliated him, he created a bandit group with a lot of criminals being a part of it. With his strength as a real official knight, getting them under his control was not hard at all.
With so many criminals being here, in a very short period of time, they became very infamous for their cruelty. People started to call them the "Bloody Devil" which was a nostalgic name for Weiss.
And these Bloody devils were the bandit group who were attacking Weiss and her companions. So Weiss did not waste any time before going on a killing spree against them.
Elise was also the same. With the perfect control over the storm assult, in barely a second, she had killed several of the bandits.
Elise was quite fond of cutting off heads and seeing various kinds of frozen expressions on the severed heads. On the other had, Weiss was fond of precise killing with the least amount of bloodshed. She had became an expert of killing people by piercing their brains with a very clean thrust.
With both of these speed experts taking action, the nightmare started for the bandits. Their group was quite large, with more than a hundred people present. But with the two ladies going on a rampage, seven tenth of them had vanished in a blink of an eye.
And the bandits who were still alive, all of them were shaking in fear. That included even the leader himself as he was very keenly aware that he was definitely weaker than the people who were attacking them.
Then before this group of super scared bandits among whom some had already pissed their pants, two super sexy beauties appeared. Normally all the men here would immediately try to hit on the ladies or grope them but currently, the only thing that they felt was fear after seeing them.
The two ladies were complete opposite of each other. The golden haired one was covered in fresh blood and with the belittling and arrogant smirk on her face, she looked like a demon from underworld.
While on the other hand, the black haired beautiful lady did not have even a single drop of blood on her and with the cold and expressionless face that she had, she looked like an emotionless goddess.
Before them, Aramna was able to feel that he was powerless. And all the other men also understood the same thing. So all of them dropped their weapons and surrendered.
Then, what was going to happen to them next ?
