Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

This torture session actually did not went how Weiss was imagining it to be. Even though these assasins were weak before her, there was no doubt that they were definitely well trained.

So she had expected them to be quite stubborn and she was sure that she would be able to try out several torture method in order to break this stubbornness of theirs.

But, completely opposite of her guess, the three remaining assasins had turned out to be extremely cooperative.

Weiss had felt an immense amount of fear from them when she had made her moves, but she had also expected them to bounce back with their willpower. But that did not end up happening.

So whatever Weiss asked, they readily answered. And most suprisingly, they did not even lie about anything that they had said.

Among the three captured assasin, there was a middle aged man who was the leader. It was clear that he was a veteran and a very experienced assasin.

Among the remaining two, one was a decently good looking lady who was an official knight just like the leader. And the other person was a very young man with sharp and intelligent eyes. But he was also the most inexperienced and weakest person in this group.

All of them were part of an organisation called the "Hidden Shadow". Weiss had thought that this was a dark organisation but that was actually not the case.

Even though the hidden shadow was filled with Assasins, they had a good relationship with various nobles and even the royal family. So they were allowed to perform their business in the open, which was absurd but true nonetheless.

And this same organisation had received an urgent task from a few noble families after the dead bodies of their agents were found.

There was no clues available regarding who was the murderer and there was a high possibility that they had killed each other in a fierce struggle.

So in order to take care of this whole troublesome matter and also to retrieve the missing loot, their organisation was contacted and these people were sent to get rid of Frank.

They were aware of the nobles who were behind this but when Weiss told Frank about them and asked if he wanted revenge or not, he shook his head and said -

"Mistress, I am ready to leave this life behind and start a new, better one. So I will let go of all the grudges associated with this current life of mine. And it’s not like they has any enmity with me. These nobles are just way too greedy and wanted the things that I have found here."

Hearing what Frank had to say, Weiss nodded her head. Now that she had accepted him as a subordinate, she did not really mind helping him out a little for some minor things. But if he was ready to move on from this, Weiss was fine with that too.

Seeing this exchange, all the assassins looked at one another and nodded wordlessly. Then they immediately bowed to Weiss. After that all three of them together also pledged their loyalty to her.

Weiss sensed their thoughts and desires. It turned out that they were not lying. Even though their devotion was nowhere near the level of Frank’s, it was not bad by any means.

Weiss thought a little about them and decided to take them in too. She did have a few things that she wanted to investigate and these people would be the perfect candidate for those tasks. So, with that in mind, Weiss told them to stand up and follow her for the time being.

As their devotion was not freaky like Frank’s, they did not get any fancy ceremony. Weiss was still planning to keep an eye on them. She also had no intention of taking them with her and instead, after they were done here, she was planning to sent them to the Souran territory to work there.

After this whole assassination incident was over, Frank decided to give up on this house and go with Weiss. But before doing that, he wanted to take away all the valueable things that he had and had found in this house. So he brought Weiss to a room where those items were kept.

Frank was not foolish enough to keep the valueable items out in the open or to hide all of them together. So the things that the evil bullies had found, it was just the tip of the iceberg.

Weiss told all the assasins to clean the mess that they had made by breaking the door and the windows. They were also told to clean up the corpses of their comrade at the same time.

While the three of them were doing that, Weiss and Frank started to take care of the items and the books. The reason why Weiss had kept the assassins away was because she was going to store all of these things in her spatial storage item and she did not want to reveal that to the assasins.

So for the time being, Weiss did not check any of the books or items in detailed and simply stored them away. This way, she was done in a very short period of time even though the areas where Frank had hidden these items were quite troublesome.

Just like that, after Frank and Weiss were done, they left the house with the three assasins. Then after some time, the whole house started to burn very intensely.

This was exactly what the assasins needed to do. After killing Frank, they were supposed to burn everything down to the ground. So this way, they could report their organisation that they had managed to fulfill the mission given to them.

As for the missing item, they would just say that it was not with Frank. Killing him was the main mission and finding the item was a secondary one with amazing extra reward in sucessful completion.

So just like that Frank would officially die in this accident and would start a new life as her goddess’s follower. While Weiss’s three spies would start working for her while utilising the resources and information network provided by the powerful hidden shadow organisation.

So, to end this very eventful night, Elena went to meet back up with Elise while bringing her devoted subordinate with her. As for the three assasins, they needed for go back to the organisation to report about this mission.

So now, it was finally time for Weiss to take a little rest.
