Mangem's Paladin

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wizard Witch Man [3]

The 101st floor of the basement was a dark space that could not be found by a single trunk of light. In that darkness, the unique afterglow of the Paladin of Val Didiza illuminated the surrounding area and gained visibility.

"Again, it kills the light range. I think I actually wiped it."

After the witch, Gunwook went into the darkness.

Hue light provided a light source of about 20 m. I couldn't see what was out there, but I could feel it.

As he continued to walk, Gunwook stopped feeling obnoxious. The witch put her ear to the ground and said in a small voice:

"There's a pack of Orcs nearby. About three. You know the Orcs are coming if you can't defeat them quickly, right?"

Gunwook nods.

Gunwook moves forward carefully, holding the shield firmly. After a few steps, the gray silhouette touches the head of the afterglow.

Three oaks.

As soon as I caught him, Gunwook rushed. As the Knight of Death used to run, he lowered his torso and ran explosively as if he were pushing the ground with his feet.

Immediately approached the enemy. The giant oak weighs the whole body and pushes the shield.

The oak wiggles. He pokes a wooden spear into the body with a blurred posture. This technique, repeated numerous times in the cell, was done in an instant like a move.

The Orc grows old without even knowing what he has suffered.

As soon as I defeated one, Gunwook caught another enemy.

There are two oaks left. One of them took his hand to the whistle that was hanging around his neck. Don't let it blow.

Gunwook rushes to him immediately. The orc next to him tried to stop him.

The Orc's body was covered with cold. The frost that seeps from the foot upwards stops the Orc's body. An Ice Spell.

Thanks to this, Gunwook was able to focus on one oak. The Orc's arm with the axe is priced as a shield. I stabbed the Holy Sword with the force of my shield, interrupting the Orc's movement.

I stabbed Orc in the neck. Gunwook stares at the frozen oak after losing power from the hand holding the whistle.

"Errrrrrrrr"

The frozen oak is revealing its anger, not its panic. The cold permeated my entire body, drawing the energy to condense even in the middle of which my mouth was hard to move.

The oak's eyes are dull. It is a photodetonation pattern.

Anger accelerates the blood flow. Immediately, the body grows moody. As the cold melts in the heat, the hardened body quickly regains its combat status.

The Orcs expressed their anger and sought to inform their surrounding allies of the presence of the intruders. The Orcs sought to shout out a battle cry.

The ice flare was stuck in his mouth, which was wide open to shout. Two more in a row. The ice pick is placed one after the other in the face and abdomen of the oak.

All three Orcs have fallen.

Moreover, EXP only came in after definitively cutting off the breath that was brushed on the ground.

The electric shock struck the brain. In a bit of excitement, Gunwook looks at the bodies of the three fallen oaks.

Since Warhammer, the Orcs have been a much more powerful body than humans, as is often the case with a body of about 2m, a thicker neck than the head, and long arms like orangutans, all muscles with spider webs.

The same was true of the clashes just now. The power passed over the shield was never weak.

I can fight this.

* * * * * * *

Before entering the 101st floor, the witch taught several precautions. It was like this.

Orcs flock and support each other. If one blows a whistle or shouts with all his might, the surrounding Orcs rush to help. As such, the Orcs should not make a loud noise to me. Likewise, this side should not be loud.

Light said you don't have to care. The darkness of the dungeon was not the absence of light, but something with substance. The darkness of the dungeon swallowed the light.

'No matter how bright it is on this side, it only appears to be part of a dark background outside a certain distance. So there's no need for the Orcs to see this light. And since you're a crusader, you can use a flash explosion, right?'

'There is, but the mulberry is also fatal to our allies.'

'Write it down. Use it often. Don't worry about me because I can cover my eyes just by listening to your spells.'

I went on to recall what I had learned. I felt the danger again. The witch said there would be an Orc Patrol out there.

"I beg your pardon. You may have been better armed than the Orcs you just met. We have to ambush and we have to succeed. You know what?"

"I know."

They prepared a few tactics ahead of time. I immediately practiced one of them.

As I walked a little further, the foundation felt more pronounced. The witch raised her hand and signaled.

'Now!'

Gunwook immediately fulfilled his instructions. Flash Explosion Spell. A flash exploded from beyond, shouting, O light.

The flash blinded the eyes of the enemies in that position, while providing illumination.

I saw six oaks. Unlike the oaks I just encountered, I put on thick armor. It could be a lot, but I had to do it differently. They both did.

The witch raises her staff to the groaning oaks. A flame bulb formed at the end of the staff swallowed the surrounding air. The swollen flame flew away, leaving behind smoke.

In the middle of the oak, the fireball explodes splendidly.

One oak is swallowed by flames. Hot heat spread around it. However, the Orcs are furious before panicking, staring at the direction in which the fireball flew.

The witches are in the eyes of the Orcs. The Orcs run without hesitation.

Then the Orcs did not notice a lateral surprise.

As a witch I was looking at, I had to try not to stare at her. It was difficult in its own way. A lump of iron that was close to 2 m and 50 cm hit the side and the enemy didn't notice at all? Although I placed a noise suppression order, it was a shocking situation in the eyes of three people.

"Good."

The ambush was a success. In an instant, Gunwook pierces the side of the oak with a spear of death. The user releases all of its shock into the side of the oak and releases its power from the hand holding the spear.

With the spear, the oak falls away.

The Orcs look back at Gunwook. The Orcs swing their weapons at a time of panic. An oak lifts and lowers the axe immediately.

Should we avoid it? No. I will be pursued.

Gunwook judged instinctively, not head. Judgment and action were simultaneous. Gunwook twists his body and pulls out the axe with his shoulder.

A shotgun is also a bouncing shoulder, but the axe blade is deeply tucked into the shoulder. The Orc tried to pull out the axe. Then I looked for this.

Gunuk shifted his left hand to the blade, holding the knife sack. The left hand holds the blade, and the right hand holds the knife sack. It is an appropriate technique for precisely stabbing sharp spots including armor gaps. I did that.

I stabbed the blade between the armpits of the oak that just pulled out the axe blade.

The power of the Orc holding the axe is lost. Gunwook is not holding the shield now, so his hands are free. You take the Orc's Axe with your hand that doesn't hold a knife.

I took the Orc down as it is.

Beyond that, I saw two oaks rushing towards me.

Gunwook decided to only care about one of them. The witch won't be playing.

Gunwook raises his sword toward one of the two running towards him.

Indeed, the witch supported me. The Ice Throne has flown to the Orcs who decided to ignore Gunwook. The oak is avoided by a remarkable reflex, but there is already another fang flying.

One orc is enchanted, the other is run over by Gunwook, then countered and knocked down.

The treatment of the rest of the orcs was instantaneous. Two orcs have fallen by a spell that has flown in a row.

I ran to the last remaining Orc.

The Orc, whose feet were tied to the Mez, tried to stare at the Gunwook with hideous eyes. However, a report of Gunwook rushing to the ground revealed that the gear opened its eyes wide.

Does it hurt my pride to be scared for a moment? The orc squeezes all its strength and swings the iron shard.

and bounced off the protective shield.

The Orc looks back at the iron piece with its futile face. At that time, the ice flare flew and stuck to the face of the oak. That was the end of it.

They set the campfire on fire in the dark and rest. Silently pinned, Gunwook's shoulder blades were recovered upon completion of the healing spell.

In the meantime, Gunwook looked around Elongation, but was not as nervous as before. The Orcs were powerful, but Gunwook was able to defeat them head-on. That fact has encouraged Gunwook.

Gunwook now gained some confidence in his skills. Training for years or really decades was useless. Now I know that for sure.

Gunwook smiled bluntly.

Next to him, the witch was laughing. Witches were delighted that while leveling was delayed by other players in this level, this side would become powerful in an instant.

"How about a fight?"

"It's worth it."

"Ogre, this is ridiculous, isn't it?"

"Century counted. But the other players said it was enough to avoid the battle, and I don't think it's enough."

The witch giggled.

"We're counting. Others can't do this."

"But I don't think it's enough for ten times the EXP. Isn't this risky enough?"

"No, the player party I've been thinking about has been vanquished. I told you, the Orcs support each other. If the two Orcs are in the vicinity because of bad luck, the Orcs will overrun after hearing the gunfire. What if an Orc defeats two units at the same time, even if they can win the firepower advantage? It's over."

In RPG terms, it was often an ad. One of the causes of many accidents and game annihilation that is originally designed to capture a group of monsters at the same time.

"If you're in trouble, we're in danger, so you can't be too careful."

Of course, Gunwook was not careless. I couldn't have. There were only two people in this dark basement who couldn't even see the direction. How can you be so careless in a place like this?
