Episode 152: Let's Talk Dragon Knight

The story of what a dragon knight is on the journey to the capital... rose out of the wind.

In fact, the Dragon Knight is a profession that does not exist in Zexia Hertz. There was no system of fighting dragons as partners, even if they traveled on dragons or used dragons to make them fight. I had heard that Giride was like a dragon knight and came to the city of Silodier on a love dragon. But Fei Thunder Dragon Mordo, who had put Girido on board, was waiting outside the city, and Girido didn't have a chance to see him either because he immediately returned to the capital as he was.

And all the wind sounds knew was that a dragon knight is a knight who fights on a dragon, and that he can boost his power by wearing the dragon temper emitted by a dragon, and that Hyvern seems to have many dragon knights.

"Well, I wonder if even the people who live in Hyvern generally feel the same way."

Emily nods at the words of the wind. The women's group is divided into carriages and the men's group is divided into seats.

"Basically, the dragon knight of Hyvern becomes a dragon knight by signing with a dragon that has given way from the inside of the dragon, right? A dragon knight contract makes a pass between people and dragons. When it comes to contracts, it's not like a demon to pay for a soul."

Louise gives a mouthful to that kind of Emily explanation.

"The dragons, though not souls, are getting pretty big things from humans, depending on how they look at them."

"What do you mean?

The wind tilts his neck.

"Right. First of all, the Dragon Knight contract started about 600 years ago between the demon kings and the humans who serve dragons."

That's what Louise answered to the wind noise question.

"Was it the Dragon Emperor War?

I know the sound of the wind. Because it was Daliang who defeated the Dragon Emperor Gyral, the demon king who serves that dragon. I read books all the way through the history of the area, and the wind sounds were gained as knowledge.

"You know very well. Thanks to that war, the number of intelligent dragons who can speak human language has been drastically reduced. Very capable of keeping inside. Then it's gone."

"Oh, that's Lady Ao's story."

Tiara mouthed out from the side. Tiara is also familiar with Ao's anecdote, which is said to be an adviser to the Kingdom of Tsvara.

"Mr. Ao, you mean that pale Mr. Ao?

Louise shakes her neck vertically to affirm the wind noise question. Ao, the player who was becoming the dragon we met in Minciana. He seemed to have a huge impact on this world with him.

"Yeah, it's Lady Ao I met in that Minciana. Instead of waiting for his companions to grow until he had the intelligence to rebuild the dragon, he devised and put it into practice quickly."

"So that's the Dragon Knight contract?

The wind leans his neck, but Louise continues her words.

"Dragon Knight contracts are generally considered to allow dragon knights to communicate with dragons just like Kazane's information collaboration. That's not a mistake, but there are other features. Dragons are able to learn people's intelligence and knowledge through dragon knights. So unlike the wild dragons there, the dragon knights are smart and they speak human language."

"Oh, yeah."

Emily from Hyvern was impressed and watching Louise. Sounds like a lesser known story.

(... you mean you're using humans as learning devices)

I guess that means that people are borrowing the power of dragons at the price of giving people wisdom to a species called dragons. If so, the wind sounds convinced me that it can also be said that dragons are getting big things.

Besides, it feels like a different kind of thing.

I thought the wind sounds, etc., but Louise's explanation continues.

"So a dragon knight is something different from what is generally said to be a flying dragon user doing flying dragon stools, etc. It's just a wild dragon and naturally I can't talk because that's what I used to tame and feed on flying dragons that normally fly. Sometimes people who are personally intimate with dragon cavalry become freelance dragon cavaliers, but this is a smaller number in the dunch than the nationally owned dragon cavaliers."

"It is."

This also means that they are small in number but exist.

"By the way, dragon knights give dragons wisdom, so naturally dragon knights' personalities are prone to influence dragons. So dragon knights are basically often chosen as stupid honest and legitimate personage figures. Until the age of that Jin-rai-kun's son, he's going to be an old man called stubborn."

"I see."

The wind nodded. With rudeness in mind that dragon knights don't seem very smart.

"Stupid. Speaking of honesty, my brother was taking the Dragon Knight exam, too, but it sounds like he was dropped. I think he's pretty stupid while he's my brother."

She was a rude sister.

"Hmm. I guess that one was a little too shattered for the Heyvern boys bad. Fools are fools, but fools. Honesty or honesty."

Louise laughs bitterly at Emily's words. And after that much talk, Louise laughs and goes on to say more.

"By the way, there are other people with similar contracts besides Dragon Knights. Emily would know this, wouldn't she?

So shaken Emily, but as Louise put it, Emily knows the answer.

"Uh, you're a dragon witch"

"That sort of thing. Unlike the Dragon Knight contract, this one just passes lightly, but, well, it usually involves looking after dragons, doesn't it? Dragon knights have a lot of men, so dragon riders become masculine. So caregivers are also required to be natural and female. By the way, dragon knights and dragon witches are often married as they are. Am I right, Emily?

"Ah yes. My father and my mother did."

Emily affirms.

"Right. Your mother is a dragon witch, and your grandmother, Cindy, is the head of that witch. Speaking of which, I think you could have been a witch, too, with that amount of magic, but you didn't?

He said, "Yeah. He said," Do whatever you want. "

Emily is highly independent and has a strong tendency to...... on her own. Even a woman should be able to become a dragon knight, but she didn't seem to have gone that way either.

"I like people who can make their own choices."

"Oh, thank you"

Emily is thrilled with her glossy grin, while thanking her. From what Louise saw, this Emily was the person in Barnes' house with the closest core part to Jinlai. If I were a man, I would have eaten it. It's a shame, Louise thought.

"Ma, so. Kazane, Yumika, Tiara. I want you guys to know. There are three people in Heyvern who should never be offended."

All of a sudden, the three people called by their names embark on themselves. Because I found out Louise was trying to say something important.

"The first is Rhinox, the Grand Duke of Hyvern, because of course he's at the top of the country. He is the best user of this country's magic, and he can unite the dragon knights of this country and drive himself to battlefield."

I've heard of bowflowers before than Jinlai. It is one of Jinlai's goals to surpass the king in his magic.

"And the two eyes are not men, but the chief in the eastern dragon," The Divine Dragon Emperor Naga ". The king of the Dragon Clan, who heads the dragons in the eastern part of Vezel, including this Highvern, while also developing his own abilities as one of the oldest dragons."

The wind nods. The wind came a long way to deliver to the dragon.

"And the other is Cindy Barnes, the dragon witch chief. She's like the Dragon Knights' Mother of Dragon Riders. Loved by dragons and kept alive with dragons, so to speak, the backbone of the spirit of the dragon riders"

"That's Mr. Jin Rai's wife, isn't it?

Louise laughs at the wind noise and mouths the rest.

"It's no exaggeration to say that turning her against the enemy turns all the dragon riders in this country against the enemy. Many dragons possess dragon temperament, and she can be the strongest if only within DiaSouth."

That's all I heard, and the three of them, except Emily, knew what Louise meant by words.

And everyone sees Jinlai in the throne. There was an old man there who was holding the reins of Hippo Marun and slightly calm but leaned down without force.

"Master, isn't that a big pinch!?

Louise laughs at the words of the bowflower.

"It is. So Jin-rai-kun married someone who said that, and now he's pissed off."

"Mr. Louise, you look happy."

I think the wind sounds because Louise is pretty nasty too if the story goes on right now, but Louise didn't have a bare gesture that she cared about at all.

Sighing at Louise, who was driving perfectly normal, the wind sounded like there were a lot of birds at the end of the road... so I watched. It should already be the Heyvern capital, DiaSouth. And the wind sounds would have noticed if they had seen the identity of the likes of those birds in the telescopic vision of the Circlets of Wisdom, but unfortunately that was not done.

It was not long before we arrived in Deer South that we realized those rough dragons were flying around.
