Episode 252: Let's Talk Half Your Life

It would not be an exaggeration to say that the half-life of Giride Barnes was the half-life chasing the back of her father, Jinlai Barnes.

Jinlai Barnes, the original name is Jinlai Hakua.

He comes from a village in Solae, south of Diasous, the capital of Hyvern, where he left the village to reach the capital, Diasous, and began his adventurers.

This man named Jinlai was unrecognized if you say so. He has low physical abilities and weak magic. There was no upbringing, and it didn't mean I remembered well. It was an exhaustion, but my head worked to be strong. Find a way to fight efficiently, make up for it if you don't have the strength, work out if you are weak, just keep scratching your feet as hard as you can, and eventually you will be allowed to enter the most formatted Barnes dojo in DiaSouth, and by the time you reach twenty you will be counted among the most powerful in Highvern.

And Jinlai, with a twist, became husband and wife with Cindy Barnes, Barnes' eldest daughter, and Jillide Barnes was to be born between them. The birth of Giride, to be precise, led to a situation in which we had to be a couple, but I do not have a particular lump there because I believe that Jinlai also made his own choice to take responsibility in that regard.

And between the two, Gillide was born.

But it was only at the beginning of Girido's birth that Jinlai stayed at Barnes's house, too, but if he noticed, weeks, months, years and years left home to travel as an adventurer expanded.

It was therefore rare for Gilead to see his father from an early age. But still, my father, who returns from time to time, is tough, sometimes gentle, and, more importantly, my mother continues to admire my father, and the relationship was not satisfactory.

It is not strange that Jinlai, who is not supposed to be at work, but travels alone just to train herself, and does not lean against the house, is told that her father is disqualified, and in fact many others in the Barnes family say so. But Gillide admired his father's back enough to be called by two names: Spear Soldier of Fangs. Sure, he's like a father without face to face, but he was definitely a proud and proud father to Gillide.

And time flies. Giride is no longer just a boy chasing his father's back either. Only at any given time will Gilead to Barnes' superior knight being appointed. It was also around this time that I had another dragon knight contract with Fei Thunder Dragon Mold, and I had appeared at the head of the Dragon Knights.

But it was definitely a stronger girride, but it never beat my father, who returns from time to time. No matter how hard you try, you can't win. Despite its physical abilities, its amount of magic, and the fact that Girides outweighed my father by a great deal.

But that's where Gillide didn't get humbled because he knew his father would have the same problem again.

Rhinox Klau Hyvern. The best spear in the world for the Grand Duke of Hyvern. Called by two names, such as the Spear Holy King, he is also the user of the Holy Spear Gungnir. Gillide is sometimes said to be second only to this man in strength, but Gillide understands that the difference is as different as heaven and earth.

And Jinlai said he never beat that Rhinox once. My father himself publicly stated that beating that man was his lifelong goal.

I have an opponent who can't even reach my father so strong. Gilead knew that his father would continue to fight as a chaser, just as he did against his father.

Eventually Gilead also married his wife, and made a son. And he finally climbed down to the General of the Dragon Knights. That would have been the brightest time in Zillide's previous life. But four years before now, there was a case against my father, Jinlai.

I couldn't get the details, but I missed the enemy... not just because I damaged one of the two spears, which is the name of the fang spear soldier.

Jinlai repaired that damaged one and gave it to Lyle, Gillide's son, but at the same time it meant that Jinlai would stop using the two-spear.

Already Jinlai was in the middle of fifty, and the peak of the flesh was only a long time ago. And at last, it seemed that my father, who spoke powerlessly, had no more concentration or strength to manipulate the two spears... and Ziride had no words to speak of.

It wouldn't be my fault that Jinlai's back seemed smaller leaving again. My father, who said even if I were to put the spear back in one bottle, would nevertheless try to extricate the martial arts, Gilead already felt that Jinlai had not seen the future from there first. My mother looked worried, but there was no word for her father.

That's how time passed, Jinlai had built a dojo in one of the cities of Minciana, where, while spending time as an adventurer, he began to look for his own successor, Gillide had heard rumors of the wind.

But a few months ago, strange stories began to get into Jillide's ears.

Says a fang spear soldier builds a harem around girls who don't even go old.

Says the fang spear soldier is taking the general of the hot spring district of Tsvara to the hot spring sanya.

That's right. I thought Gillide would be joking, too. But I don't know the veracity of the rumors in Heyvern. I also cared that my mother looked difficult every day. Therefore, he told Fei Thunder Dragon Mordo that he was unable to do so and went to Minciana to find out the truth about it.

But the story I heard from an animal man named Gao, whom I met in the city of Winlard, rocked Gilead's heart tremendously. I didn't think it was possible, but I couldn't say it was impossible, to hear too much about my poor father's work there. At the time I abandoned the two-spear stream that I had created over my lifetime, what my father had abandoned himself was that Gillide had also felt it.

No, it means I dumped my mother if I were to have dropped by with my former lover back in the first place. Or even the possibility of being more connected than before... I couldn't forgive Girido for that.

For Gillide, the presence of a father was strong and the first time he was a father. It's not just about strength on the surface, it's about strength on the heart.

Even with respect, the fruit of it was that Gilead admitted Jinlai on the condition that his father was strong. Otherwise, I could not forgive my father for taking the path of martial arts more than a child named myself. I couldn't forgive my father for traveling alone with my mother.

And when respect for the Father broke from the ground up, the presence of the Father in the Girides was truncated. Or maybe he wanted to separate the existence of a professed father in him from the filthy traitor.

Most importantly, this later turns out to be a misunderstanding. It is not a subtle misunderstanding, but it was certain that Jinlai, who regained the two spears again, had returned to what his beloved father looked like to Gillide.

But in the journey up there, Gilead was committing a fatal failure.

"He said that that slut had a big orgy party with fifty men who had had a father. It's solid information. Definitely."

Apparently, Gillide threw a completely factually rootless word at the girl. Sometimes I called the girl a slut. Gillide did apologize afterwards and had a single forgiveness from the girl for making disrespectful remarks about it.

But with reports from the eastern dragon Rizegan that the Divine Dragon Emperor married his wife, Gilead's remarks and actions surfaced as a serious matter at once.

From what I hear, that girl named Wind Sound is a crystal dragon princess who came from exotic countries to marry the Divine Dragon Emperor Naga. If so, what was the white group to which the fathers belonged was the dragon princess escort? I called it a whore and spoke of it as my father's harem and so on.

He spit on his lord, whom a nation called Heyvern should serve, and the general of Heyvern himself did the same.

Gillide himself had no intention of making excuses, but what the dragons had heard about Gillide's work was also problematic. That was the story of a bitter laugh for the dragons if that was when the wind sounds were treated as just human beings, but at the moment it was a matter of dragon tribe honor, and many dragons had known it.

And heavily weighed by the seriousness of things, the Duke of Hyvern decides to imprison Gilide for dragon insult. Also at this time, the connection between the Empress of the Divine Dragon and the Wind Sound is considered secret, so the appearance will disappear from the surface stage as an injury caused by the Demon Wolf Crusade.

The surroundings had witnessed further spontaneous polishing of the door before incarceration, which also led to the spread of subtle, uneven rumours that the cause of the injuries was in the wind... but the rumours were rumours, so they were left intact. You thought if you denied it poorly, you could be a snake.

Giride, who was imprisoned in secret as it was, was even considered for an extreme sentence once, but there were stories that he had already obtained permission from Empress Kamikura, a situation in which he could not be provoked. So the disposition of Giride was put on hold once, and Giride had spent another week in this prison. And I've been thinking about one thing.

(An insult to that girl, it's unacceptable. I'm not willing to make excuses for that. There's no way I'm willing to deny that fact. But you just made suspicion of my father, I even interfered with my father's mission, and I dropped Barnes' family name on the ground)

That is regrettable. A past that's already over, a regret there as to why I've done such a stupid thing.

(If so, should I harm myself?)

That was more than once, what I was thinking.

"It's just the right day to die."

Clear outside. If I die like this and that soul can ride the Nagarine stream, I think the sight I see from it would be very beautiful.

But Girido knows it's just sweet. Where I am dead, it is only self-satisfying. It's just an inferior act of annoying someone afterwards. Such shameless things cannot be girried.

"Don't go too fast - ooh!!!

But some could not joke about the whining words. Gillide's whining wasn't meant to make anyone hear it in the first place, but it seemed to echo in this prison.

And when Giride looked at the entrance to the prison, Chinchillin stood with tears in his eyes.
