Episode 270: Meet the Village Chief

The village of Forn was in a hurry that day. Even though the giant dragon, which had appeared for a week now, appeared again, Matthews, who was still on reconnaissance, did not return.

Given the distance from where the dragon was most, it's no time to wonder Matthews hasn't come back yet. So the noise is simply that the rough nosed people are making noise, but it was true that they were surrounded by hustle and noise.

In the meantime, Morphea, the village chief, was checking the situation in the square. Apparently, a far-sighted man reported that the dragon had departed from the island immediately, but the safety of Matthews remains unknown.

Nor does Morphia think they can win by fighting that dragon. Even the lower dragon Fei Long (Wyburn) is a powerful foe to the Birdmen. I also think Morphia knows that Matthew doesn't want to compete against those giant dragons who seem to be at the top of the list, but Matthew is a disgusting person in the village. Hopefully it wouldn't be a hassle...... Morphea waited while she was concerned, wishing them well.

And after a while, a lookout ran into the square from the entrance to the village.

Apparently Matthew and the others are back. But Matthew and the others weren't the only ones there. Not a bird tribe, just a black strawberry dragon and a red strawberry griffon were there too.

As a matter of fact, Morphia wasn't surprised there because she had already heard that a guest might be coming. But there was a strange sight there. Matthew, who was said to be the village's greatest thug, somehow walked as if he were a squire while snagging at a chinch-crine child. The world was full of chaos.

"Village chief (Muraosa), we've brought guests from outside. Kazane and his people."

Morphea, the village chief (Muraosa), said "Thank you" and worked Matthews as he looked suspiciously at Matthew, who told him of his exasperation. Whatever it is, there seems to be no doubt that it has returned with some achievement.

And Morphea led the wind noises first into the house of the village chief (Muraosa), and decided to have them rest. Then he decided to call Matthew and the others to the assembly and ask them what had happened.

So what I found out is that the giant dragon that's been plaguing the village for the past week has already left and won't be coming back. And the people that Matthew brought were guests from outside, who followed him to the village to get permission to explore this floating island.

Morphea also frowned when Matthew and the others reported to the guest that he was in return for trying to pull a bow in early contact with the person who was manipulating the dragon.

Human beings from the outside do not attack without darkness, and even if it becomes a battle, it is stipulated in the village code that it be carried out on the assumption of self-defence. And Matthew and the others are disobedient shapes.

However, something seems to reflect so little on him/herself that there is no more. So Morphea felt that there was no point in blaming it any more, but only told her that she would punish her later just because it was a matter.

And after only letting Matthew down, I confirm with the three people I followed against Matthew's change. That stranger just couldn't get rid of it. But that's where Morphia learns the facts to be afraid of.

"The demon king!?

"Muraosa, you have a loud voice."

The three panic to Morpheus's cry. This is a more remote gathering place than the house of the village chief (Muraosa) with the wind noises, but you still can't be alarmed. Morphia also realizes that she was more surprised than she could have imagined, as those three threatened.

"Hmm. I'm sorry. So Matthew went through the demon king's witchcraft?

The problem was there. Morpheus had already heard that a guest might come to the land. But I had no idea they were demon kings or anything. Moreover, it is a problem if one were to confuse one's own people with the kind of witchcraft.

"No, isn't that what it feels like"

"At least I don't feel governed by magic, though."

"Don't you get it when you freak out and defy me? Mr. Matthew, you look like a wildlife."

Three people respond subtly to Morphia's concerns. Morphia has to roar for that too. As things stand at present, I'm just snagging at that tincture cline, and it also seems calmer than usual. Whatever it was, Morphea took a magician to her home just in case she didn't meet her guests.

◎ The house of the village chief (Muraosa) of Forn

"Welcome to the village of Forn. Let me introduce myself again. Maufia Angelito, the village chief."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Cook Ante, Morphia's assistant."

Morpheans finally arrived about twenty minutes after the wind noises that were relaxing at the village chief's house waited.

Each of you returns a greeting to the two of you. By the way, Tatsuo is treating Black Dragon children as usual. And revealed that there was a morphea.

"I have already received a letter from Lord Rhinox about you, and I have heard the story"

Not least the words raised a surprise from a group of whites.

He didn't say anything like that.

Jinlai also gave it back with the unexpected face. Rhinox and his best friend, Jinlai, were purely surprised that Rhinox had said nothing to himself in these parts.

"In fact, through Lord Rhinox, we are also able to talk to the Divine Dragon Emperor Naga. But only those who can come here on their own know that. That's why Lord Rhinox didn't tell anyone he's never been to."

"I see."

Jinlai nodded and snapped in his heart with the wind noise (which is why his husband didn't even talk to him). Everything. After the previously unsuccessful expedition, they've only been in touch with the Duchy of Hyvern.

"I would ask you to speak for yourselves about our bird tribe. That's the condition for free movement on this island."

"So, can we explore the island?

Morphea nodded as the wind rode out and asked.

"We're people who live on this island, but we don't own it."

Morphea gives it back, pulling it back slightly to the wind. I took the liberty of imagining that the surrounding Ments had pulled off the high tension of the wind noise, but Morphea was wary (that this daughter was the Demon King).

"Nevertheless, this island is a pretty tough environment for a single adventurer. Some come to this island once every decade, but probably not back from exploration. It's as secret as forbidding us from entering the village."

Yes, Morphea advises.

It takes a lot of conditions for an adventurer to just come to this island originally. There are always griffons and flying dragons (Wyburn) flying around this island. As a result, when a Feilong (Wyburn) user tries to visit the land, he is often attacked intensively. This is also true of the 5-meter class of coarse dragons.

And even if we are lucky enough to reach the island, if we go straight into the woods, the Dragon Eater will take over the Taming Fei Long (Wyburn), and even if the rider survives, we will lose the means to return to the ground. That's how some people had to stay in the village.

They also said that even if they cut through them and reached this village, they went on exploration to the woods and ruins and the majority became people who would not return.

"Some have returned alive, but most of them are Angelite city stops. Most of the time, it's an abandoned, demonic nest, so it's not a big deal."

"There's a demon?

"Oh, it's been 700 years. After this island flowed from the north to reach the land, it suddenly began to leave."

With that word, the wind caught the sound of the island still flowing from the north, which means that this is the floating island you are familiar with in the game. If so, there is one thing that bothers me.

"Um, Mr. Morphia. I'd like to ask you one thing."

"What is it?

"I think there was a tower south of here, but not now, right?

Morphea also moves her eyebrows pickly in the words. He was an unbreakable man on the poker face, but was stunned that the girl knew that only in the village heirloom.

(I see, Demon King? It's definitely called that knowledge, it doesn't seem like that of a regular person)

Yes, Morphea thought and nodded at the wind noise question.

"Indeed, there was once a tower on this island. But not now."

And Morphia tells.

"The Tower of the Emperor was cut off in the North. By the devil's hand."
