Lesson 7: Receive the Unsullied Maiden at Sacrifice-3

Oul accompanied Eunice and transferred to the village of Maribel. The destination is not an altar in the centre of the village, but a short distance from the village. On this matter, Oul had made three predictions. Two of them anticipated Oulu's visit to the village.

The first. A trap to ambush and defeat Oulu, who came to protest.

Second. A trap for Oulu to attack the dungeon while he was away in protest.

The former avoids surprise raids by moving the destination away from the village, and involves the unis, which is not a problem for war forces. The latter leaves a lil in the dungeon, so if there's an intruder, you'll find out soon enough.

The problem is, if it was the third one. And the trouble is, it's most likely the third one.

When he visited the village, he immediately saw the villagers lying flat and realized that Oul had a bad feeling about himself.

"... I mean, no other young woman is sober than Maribel, is that what you're saying?

"Yes, you're right. There are few young daughters in this village right now... even the young daughters who were only a few were married before Oulu was here, and Marie is the oldest of all people who don't know a man."

You understand that sacrifice wasn't exactly what Oul wanted. The village chief lowered himself to the fullest and bowed his head just laying his forehead on the ground.

Third prediction. That was what the villagers said as a result of doing business with the utmost honesty. That's very troublesome. Oulu needs manpower now.

One sacrifice was originally scheduled to be available two months ago, but the village turned it into a whole ash when it got Eunice.

He didn't even get a living room dead or a skeleton because he burned it without leaving any bones.

"... there's no lie in that word, is there?

With his sharp eyes like a raptor, Oul shoots through the village chief. Unable to withstand the heavy pressure, the village chief replied with trembling.

"Well, one of you, I am... not a very clever daughter dedicated to Lord Oulu..."

"Good. Bring that girl"

Originally, Oul had little expectation of the appearance of his village daughter. I don't even think I have such a beautiful daughter in the country village. Demanding a virgin is also an emphasis on magical value, not sexual processing.

"But..."

"I'm not gonna tell you again."

Asking the hesitant village chief to stare, the village chief flies out of the mansion to flee. The question as to why he was so hesitant was iced off when he saw his daughter brought here.

Long dark hair, white skin, with an even body, neat appearance.

And the ugly scar that ruins them all was the daughter who covered the left half of her face.

Next to Oulu, I feel a slightly breathtaking sign of Eunice.

"I see, you're ugly"

Oul said so frankly.

You must have suffered severe burns at a young age. Only half of the burnt skin contrasted with the other half of the beauty and increased its richness. I guess most of my left half of my body as well as my face is injured to see my fingertips coming out of my long sleeve clothes. None of the men must have thought about holding this daughter.

"Yeah, so it's ugly in Mr. Oulu's eyes too, depending on what you take off the candidate..."

Apparently a little relieved by Oul's words, the village chief said with a slightly tense, relaxed look.

"Daughter. What's your first name?"

My name is Sophia.

In contrast, her daughter replied so without looking cowardly at all. Even when Oulu scorned me for being ugly, I didn't move one eyebrow. Those eyes are cold as ice, and I can't read any emotions, just like my expression.

"... interesting"

Oul smiled niggly.

Though they are young, Oul is a skilled magician. There is rarely anyone who takes that gaze head-on and doesn't change one expression.

"Village chief. I liked this girl. I'll take it."

"Ha, ha, I don't mind that... that, Marie..."

Nodding in surprise, the village chief sends an exploratory gaze to Oulu.

"... I'm sorry, but I can't return that girl named Maribel"

Say it's just one end of Oul's labyrinth. I wasn't willing to let whoever I found out go outside.

"But the contract is about giving away one daughter per year. You can't break that promise without darkness.... 10 years. Between now and 10 years, you can stop giving away your daughter."

"Ah...... thank you!

I guess I was more worried about next year than Maribel's.

When Oul said so, the village chief gave a blatant expression of relief.

As an owl, I have trouble being offered a daughter like a baby starting next year.

"It would be good. Then don't forget your daughter in 10 years and your monthly crop."

That being said, Oul casts a spell of metastasis so that he can hold Eunice and Sophia together.

After the evil sorcerer disappeared, the village chief took a breath and sat deeply on his bench.

With a great deal of relief from the bottom of my heart that a mage releasing tremendous pressure and her hated daughter left the village all over the village.
