Episode 14: Let's Kill Heroes Unbroken-3

There are basically five types of soldiers.

First of all, the most numerous is the infantry. Set up shields, armed with spears, swords, etc. It's a defense that holds down enemy attacks and prevents breakthroughs. Divide into light infantry with thin equipment and excellent mobility, and heavy infantry with heavy equipment and iron wall defenses. There are many light infantry on the Figlia side and heavy infantry on the Grandiera.

The next most common is archers. If the infantry needs a defense, this one needs an attack. A long bow or crossbow (crossbow) can shoot your opponent from a distance. Longbows have excellent continuous shooting performance, but it is difficult to develop users. Crossbowmen are easy to use, but they are inferior to continuous shooting performance, and crossbows are fragile and difficult to make, making them difficult to number.

The next most common is the cavalry. It is said to be a battlefield flower shape and that the victory or defeat of the war depends on the way the cavalry operates. Boasting tremendous mobility and breakthroughs, it quickly kicks the infantry and kills all archers and sorcerers. On the other hand, horses are invaluable and even more so when they become knights capable of manipulating them.

Next up is the sorcerer. In fact, it is not so important to speak of sorcerers in war. Because an attack by magic is inferior to a bow. The range is short, and the series of shots doesn't work. If a cavalry intercepts you, you will be killed without the skill of exchange.

Still, there is no longer a soldier species to say magician, because magic is the only thing that prevents siege-class magic. I mean, there are sorcerers just to fight the other sorcerer.

Finally there are other species of soldiers...... who do not take part in direct combat. They are heavy soldiers carrying troops, weapons, etc., health soldiers recovering the wounded, engineers assembling large weapons, etc.

Archers in infantry, guarding sorcerers while holding enemies in cavalry, agitation. Infantry pushes where the other side floats in and says annihilation with archers is the general course of war.

5 days after the declaration of war.

On the Blanche Plains, the armies of Oulu and Grandiera were confronted.

On the defensive side, the Oulu army had infantry lined up side-by-side and the left and right edges protruded slightly to the other side, the so-called "Crane Wings Formation". It is an excellent formation for defense, with archers and sorcerers covering from behind and siege enemy soldiers who have stormed it.

In contrast, Grandiera is a "formation of fish scales" triangulated in hundreds. Contrary to the crane wings, the aim is to concentrate the power on one point and break through all at once.

The cavalry-rich and smelly Grandiera side is going to break through the center of the crane wing once and for all to take on the general and aim for a short showdown. If a general's head is taken, or roughly 30% of his power is killed, what he says military loses its function and disintegrates.

"Again, not much..."

Oul shrugged as he asked how the enemy army was doing in sorcery. Enemy cavalry is about 400, 200 fish scales at a time. Much more than this cavalry with only 100, but still much less than I assumed. 1000 should be fine.

"But it doesn't seem like you're taking this lightly."

This one stared at the enemy with his naked eyes, Ellen said.

"It's exquisitely off our range. The enchantment fence is also quite thick. Then our arrows won't pass."

"Fighting in the castle of Figlia has been analyzed."

"Probably."

Kokuri and Ellen nod. The rain of the arrows of Ellen and the others shooting from the Fei Long is one of Oulu's trump cards, but it's not as much of a weapon as you can handle as long as you know it. At least, it won't work unless you cut the sorcerer soldier in half.

"You can't even ambush me with a metastasis. A magic formation of transference jamming is formed throughout the enemy formation. If you attack us, we can take the back, but the cavalry will break through."

In an orga or an oak, it can't be on the legs of a horse. I can get away with it before I attack the back very much.

"Then you have to stop your opponent's cavalry with infantry.... 400 cavalry over there, 1,600 infantry over here. Four times... I wonder if I can contain it."

"I guess I can't. The smell is too different."

Oulu replied softly to Eunice, who somehow faced nervousness.

"Eh."

"Don't guide me. I have a plan."

That's what Oul replied to Eunice, who opened his eyes to surprise.

And then the war began.

The cavalry of the Grandiera army runs down the plain like an arrow. The movement is little different than that of a bareback horse with a knight with his whole body cemented in armor on his back and himself in armor.

That was, nevertheless, like a giant iron shell. Not even a downpouring arrow, but straight through the battlefield. It bypasses the formation and doesn't even show a bare gesture of sideshooting. I'm willing to leave it to speed and weight and go straight through the line.

The Figurine soldiers intercepting it set up their shields and hoisted their spears, honking their tooth roots in fear. A piece of steel running at high speeds stops at such a thin spear? Can you prevent it with such a thin shield? They all uniformly visioned themselves, kicked and trampled on by horseback riding and shattered.

"Don't be afraid!

That's when the good voice of the Demon King sounds from behind.

"Who do you think is the one who guards your backs? A demon king who can manipulate a thousand sorceries and obey ten thousand demons. Dressed in armor, in an attempt to hold a spear, is the Son of Man. Which is scarier than the demon of hell"

Strangely, the voice resonated firmly from the edge of the formation to the edge, even though it was not so vocal.

"Come on, my spirits, chest up, put your strength into your bellies! And tear those fools to pieces!

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

The soldiers raise their voices at the same time.

The minds of the soldiers shrunk by fear stretched straight, filled with killing intentions and madness. His eyes gleam, spears up and stares at the Grandiera knights.

"Ooh!

"Why is it taking you so long?"

Pei, and Oul wear the back of Eunice's head.

"Oh, that?

Eunice glanced around slightly, causing her eyes to flash.

"What I put on the soldiers was the art of mad warriors. Eliminates fear and exalts war, but neglects defense for that matter."

That said, it's better than being scared. And it is also a fabric stone to future developments.

"... Okay, now." Do it, Spina!

Oul is a magic trick, sending signals to the spinner waiting in the dungeon. A roar sounded and half the cavalry on the battlefield was wrapped in sand and dust.

"Now! All at once, siege the enemy!

The decree of Oul strikes and the infantry strikes at the cavalry in unison. But the enemy, though frightened by the sand and dust for a moment, quickly regains his posture, and forgives the horse and immediately strikes the infantry.

But only half of the cavalry could do so.

"What the hell happened?

"Actually, the first tier of the dungeon stretches all the way around here. So I manipulated the Kobolts from the basement and dug a giant pit"

The back half of the scale is said to have been dropped from the pit into the dungeon. Most knights in heavy armor are either instantly dead or seriously ill, and even if they can move, they are the bait of the demons of the dungeon. Cavalry, for example, is of no use in a narrow, poorly scaffolded labyrinth.

The knights, halved in number, still attempt to break through against the infantry. But there was something coming at me from behind it.

"And it's connected to the dungeon, so naturally we have ambushes there. Not as fast as a horse, but enough if the infantry buys a few seconds..."

A pitch-black hound jumps from behind a knight stopped by an infantry assault fearless of death. Black dogs the size of bulls burned iron armor with flames and ate it into the throat of a scorching horse to pull off every piece of protective equipment. The enemies' feet float in the roar of the Warcraft who usually have nothing to contend with, but this infantry, who is turned into a Mad Warrior by sorcery, is struck by a cavalry without even paying attention.

"I can eat and kill you."

Previously on Infantry. Behind you is the Warcraft. It was completely besieged and the cavalry's lifeblood was cut off.
