Lesson 16: Let's Sanction the Foolish-1

"... you've missed me a lot..."

Lil groaned so blurred as she stared at the mess she was going to.

How many months has it been since Spina disappeared?

Her whereabouts were unknown and her sincerity remained unknown, and Oulu had also broken off the search.

The curse placed on her is like putting her own life in danger if she tries to unravel it, and she cannot first divulge the secrets of the labyrinth to others. Or not strong enough to step into the labyrinth on her own.

The talent and the effort she has taught witchcraft to date are in vain, but it's not like she was in a particular job, and the labyrinth turns without her.

Oulu, who explained so and gave up looking for Spina's whereabouts, also seemed to Lil to take care not to involve Spina.

In those months, Oulu's army swallowed the neighboring small nations one by one, and Ellen and the others traveled to the ground where they had dropped the White Art and the others. Originally, it was a partnership until we defeated the White Art. Though slightly inferior to them, the White Aalves have gained access to dozens of soldiers, so there are no military problems.

But Oul let go of the girls he was using heavily and dropped them off with him until Mio, who was sparing him yet another goodbye. Mio seemed worried about what to do, but ended up following Ellen. This one has no problem with her job because she has a number of daughters and imps who have planted her way of caring for livestock and warcraft, but Lil felt an unspeakable sense of impatience with her loneliness as she saw fewer and fewer faces.

The power of the war is increasing. Many daughters have dropped their country, increased their slavery and demons, and brainwashed them. But Oul had stopped remembering the names of each and every one of them nearby, as before. Arves below Ceres and the women of the forest people are no longer the majority to pledge allegiance to Oulu, but Lil does not know the names of their daughters.

Faroes on Wikia, Naja and Shall. The adventurers' daughters were all over managing those new and increased men, and they stopped looking at their faces much. Logan also hits the labyrinth guard as a stash for the newly called Lesser Demons.

The only ones beside Oulu unchanged are Lil and Marie, who have been sticking up to him perfectly since Spina disappeared. The more forces he expanded and his men the more Oulu seemed to get lonely, and Lil hugged him from behind.

"What are you talking about? People got more, jobs got more. I summoned you for this moment. Work harder."

Pulled off his arm, and the old magician commanded him to do so over his back.

"... aye"

The loyal user demon responds raw and orders his men to report to him in order to manage the labyrinth. The Sacubas, who have been newly called to bring a man down, are no longer Lil's men.

But they and Lil had something decidedly different. You must never do what you command, and you work faithfully. But they don't trust Oulu, and Oulu only sees them as a workforce again.

That's what demons are for. The anomaly is Lil's, and this sentiment, the thoughts he holds on Oulu, everything is not demonic.

Even the devil, of course, has personality, and each has a personality bias. Lil has always considered this characteristic of herself to be a form of bias.

After all, however, it should not seem to me that something is decidedly different from the rest of the Sacubas. Lil was starting to feel stronger every day about the discomfort she didn't even feel when she was in the demonic world.

"Then Lim and Lal see the Warcraft of the Third Hierarchy, Silke and Sulya see the Fourth Hierarchy, Lorica and Nanai see the First and Second Hierarchies..."

It happened when Lil was giving instructions to his men.

All of a sudden the lights that are illuminating the labyrinth go red and bright, and a metallic stirring noise rings around like a warning sound of giant ants. Lil had only heard this sound once.

She evokes old memories. Yes, I did when I first met Eunice. It is now a signal when there is an intruder into the fourth and fifth tiers.

"Shya! You said there aren't any leading adventurers lately!?

"I didn't even go through the third tier."

Pale one of the Sacubas answers. I didn't even see the dust rushing at that expression. All that matters to her is whether the magic, which is a reward, is well paid, and if Oul dies and the magic is depleted, you just have to go back to the demon world. That's the perception.

Lil closes his eyes and enquires about the scene with witchcraft to his men looking around the third tier. The answer I returned was' no anomalies'.

"Oul, intruder! But something's wrong. Nobody's broken through the third tier!

Lil hurries to report to Oulu. He seemed to be just in Central Square, accessing the dungeon core through the water and looking into the labyrinth.

"Sounds like it. This is not an adventurer intrusion."

With a difficult look, Oul stared into the void.

"The outline of the fourth hierarchy is breaking through. That's a cobolt..."

The exterior is the most endless part of the labyrinth, the wall that supports the perimeter. Particularly thick and robust walls are built to support the weight of the labyrinth and prevent entry. They dug the tunnel from the outside and the Kobolts broke through it.

"Cobolt? Like the nest happened to hit our labyrinth?

To Lil's inquiry, Oul shook his neck to the side.

"Cobolt is a mine fairy. I'm good at digging pits, but I don't build nests deep underground. This is obviously an artificial operation."

Oul shifted his gaze to Lil with a rugged look, he said.

"Another demon king invasion."

"What do you do with another...!? Let Wikia and the others go?

"No, that's too risky. … I also envisage measures to be taken when this is the case, calm down"

"I'm assuming!?

To Lil, who raised his voice to his surprise, Oul glanced at her all annoyed.

"It is foolish to think that others will not do what they are doing. Naturally, I would assume that someone other than me would make a similar dungeon."

Oul casts a short spell as he takes Lil between summonses. When the magic formation glowed and awakened what was intended, the feathers rang in unison.

"We'll do a reconnaissance with these guys first"

Oulu called in a massive herd of giant flies.

The Giant Fly was originally enlarged as a mere carcass burst into contact with the dense magic of the Labyrinth. The role of immediately returning bodies rolling in the labyrinth to eating soil and feeding the bottommost demons, such as goblins and cobolts, are the main roles in the labyrinth ecosystem.

In these cases, however, it can also be an excellent scourge due to the breadth and low cost of its scope of action and its ability to fly freely around the darkness. When Oul cast the magic of "dominion" on one of the pigeons, he sent the pigeons toward the hole that the enemy had drilled into the outer contour. The pits of the newly-dug enemy are not stretched with transfer avoidance boundaries, so they can be easily transferred if the structure is in a grasp.

They quickly began to fly down the pit looking for carcasses to feed themselves and nursery beds. Oul manipulates one of them by magic and shares his sight.

"Lil, relay the information to the Wikias as they grasp the enemy invasion in Central Square and hit the defense. It's not like any other outline can be broken."

With a vision of a world separated by a double eyed eye, Oul ordered Lil, who was supposed to be beside him.

"Okay."

The word of affirmation returns and Oul deepens his infiltration into the sensation of the oxen, making sure that her signs are kept away.

The world of sight of giants is much wider than that of humans. It may be due to its own small size of about 1 foot (about 30 cm), but its double-eyed range is almost 360 degrees closer than that. I can see the whole perimeter. Its vision gets confused if I'm not used to it, but once I got used to it, I could fly through the universe endlessly.

As he proceeded along the pit avoiding the cobolts attacking him, Oul discovered a familiar pattern on the wall.

It is a magical engraving to carry the magic flowing through the dragon pulse into the central dungeon core. After all, the Lord of this dungeon is not just a magician who happens to have dug into dragons or Oulu's labyrinth.

But at the same time, Oul twists his neck. Dungeon Core is an aggregation of Oulu's research. The research process has been disposed of for a long time and is no longer only in his head. I told Lil, yeah, but I can't imagine anything other than an oul that could create a core.

It doesn't make sense to simply gather around magic. Humans and demons are nowhere to be used because even in such intense magic, they are quickly put to death by magic. It is the labyrinth of Oulu because of the dungeon core that completely blocks magic and allows it to be freely removed.

Anyway, we had to find the center, and Oulu dispersed them. The direction of the center is roughly plausible from the flow of magical engravings, but the labyrinth trail does not necessarily run exactly as it does. Instead, if you're mimicking Oulu's labyrinth, you should be able to follow it and be sure to get lost.

There is only one effective way against such a labyrinth. The method the adventurers are doing… that is, man-made sea tactics.

Enriched with the magic of Oulu's labyrinth, the giants act as a kind of junction. The boundaries are stretched around the part where the giant hull moves and can be shown as a map in the fountain of the central square where the lil is located. Lil predicted an enemy invasion as he looked at the map and hit the defense as he contacted the Wikias in magic.

Luckily, the enemy's hand didn't seem that big of a deal. The main ones being sent are demons in the first tier, in the Labyrinth of Oulu, such as Kobolt, Goblin, and Precision, Auga.

That said, you can't be more alert than your opponent attacking you from the dungeon. No matter how much power you can overwhelm, if they destroy the dungeon core, that's it. The enemy can dig a pit with a cobolt, so they don't know where it's coming from until just before it strikes.

Conversely, the only way for Oulu to defeat his enemies is to destroy their core. Some kind of curse, or the sorcerer himself? Whatever it is, there is always something at the core of all dungeons. Finding out and destroying it is the most efficient way to attack.

Oul had a strange feeling as he proceeded through the labyrinth sending his enemies, switching to another if killed. I remember the direction of the center of the labyrinth.

Oul relies on that memory to change course. That was the direction Cass, a former military master, had set Oulu in a trap. I was wondering if someone accidentally dug a dragon vein, but it turns out that if it's that place, it's definitely a dragon vein through. The iron pipe, which was extracting magic, was removed, but the place itself must have been reused.

And there's not as much to know there. Now that you've killed Cass and the soldiers, all you know is inside Oulu. What Oul saw as he reached the back with half certainty was a huge slime pulsing like a heart.

At the same time, the arm extends like a tentacle from the surface of the slime, causing the sight of the oul to break. They forcibly disconnected him.

"Spina..."

Oul, returning to his body, groaned bitterly.
