Maou no Hajimekata

Lesson 4: Let's Start a New Demon King-2

"Rice (tagarda), please (yuwero)!"

"That's what you said every time, you..."

Oul accidentally suppressed his forehead to the content of a voice that sounded normal in the dungeon.

If his memory was certain, the first voice would have been exactly the same when Tatsuki first broke into the dungeon.

"Is that it?" Uluru, talking.

"I remember the words. I know you've been calling me an idiot every time."

"Hmm, it is. By the way, what's for dinner today?

"You're not bluffing..."

When Tatsuki turns the tail of the fish into a leg, he heads to the dining room like we know on our own.

There was already a fragrant smell of lil's baked bread coming from you, and Tatsuki rattled his throat.

"It tastes delicious, so it's hard to make."

"I get all the stuff I've never seen or heard, but it's delicious!

Even while Oulu was working on Tena's offense, Tatsuki seemed to have feared meals when he visited the labyrinth, as he did every day. Tatsuki sparkled her eyes as Lil lined up the plates, completely used to making more for one person.

"How dare you eat something like that all right, you"

"? 'Cause it's delicious, huh?

He doesn't have the idea that he might be mixed with poison, and Tatsuki tilts his neck at Oulu's words.

"There's no fish like this in the ocean."

"You live in the ocean?

"Yeah. That's right."

Tatsuki answers as he pinches up the sautéed pork and throws it up and into his mouth.

"What the hell are you?"

"Whatever they say. It's just a bump."

"Don't you have a name for the race?

"Szok......"

Tatsuki twists her head, behaving badly licking the fat on her finger.

Speaking of which, people on land call themselves demon kings.

And I mentioned that with ease, as if I remembered yesterday's menu of meals.

"Demon King!?

"No... wait"

Oulu stops Marie, who reflexively lays her hands on the sword.

"Are you the only one called the Demon King?

"Mmm. There's a lot of them."

The word Demon King translates the word 'Omi' in local language.

Words of exactly the same meaning are not in the language of the Ouls.

It has territory to rule with the subordination of monsters and demons, but is different from the king of men.

The closest thing to it was Oulu, so I just guessed the word Demon King.

In the continent of the Ouls, the 'Demon King' was Oulu alone, but even here it is not necessarily so.

Most importantly, I didn't very much think of myself as the demon king whose tongue drums on this happily duck momomo meat would destroy everything. Though it may mean 'flatten everything'.

"Tell me about the demon king you know."

When he cheeked the salted fish omelette (tortino), drank the bean soup, and ate the sweets with honey on the white bread, Oulu asked Tatsuki, who was satisfied with his belly.

"Hmm... like Daron in the East Sea or Napert in the North Sea? Wow, it's a long way off, and I've never seen him before, so I don't really know him."

"Is there anywhere else nearby?

"The sea around here is crashing."

Spread his arms, Tatsuki said so confidently.

"What about land?

"I can't believe you found out about land."

"It's not useless after all..."

Lil drops her shoulder as she whines, though not expecting it, to Tatsuki, who answers as a matter of course.

"... then"

After much thought, Oul changed his question.

"How about around the river?

No creature needs water at all. If you are so much a creature as a demon king, the water must be pulling in some way, just like Oul pulled a groundwater vein into the dungeon.

And rivers are usually connected to the sea.

"Then I know."

The guess was true, and Tatsuki grinned.

"Strong, big, bad, nasty, eating."

I would have noticed, but if they hadn't asked, I wouldn't have been willing to answer. That's the kind of laugh.

"Let me know more."

Oulu begins to embark on information that matches what Tena said.

"Mm-hmm..."

Tatsuki pinned his index finger and pointed to the ceiling made of branched leaves.

Then the water swirls as if it were a snake wrapped around her arm, punching a big hole in the ceiling.

"Ahhh the roof!?

"Arr."

Without looking bad on his butt the screaming lil, Tatsuki pointed to a mountain range that could be farther away.

You mean it's based in that mountain?

"Kyoten...... I wonder if that's a little different"

"What do you mean?

On a twisting tatsuki of his neck, Oul gives a strange look.

"That means he's over there."

"... you don't mean that mountain itself, etc?

"No, I'm not."

The explanation for the waving of his head was something that did not get the guidelines.

"Fair enough. That's enough."

Neither did Oulu think he would get a lot of information from Tatsuki originally.

The general location of the opponent who can be an enemy and what it is. That's more than I would have hoped if I'd figured that out.

"Oh, and..."

On the verge of jumping both feet back to the tail of the fish and into the dungeon of the sea, which completely became her exclusive passage, Tatsuki looks back unexpectedly.

"It's a demon king, too."

It was Sophia that Tatsuki pointed out at the tip of her tail.
