Lesson 10 Let's Challenge the Sand King -2

"If that's true, it's not good."

The most effective tactic in a dungeon attack is actually a man-made tactic.

The number of traps and guard demons can be dealt with at once is limited.

Anyway, as long as I have a head count, I can tread regardless of my level of practice and ability.

This cannot in principle be prevented beyond the finite space called dungeons.

Having said that, I was confident I would swallow about 100,000 or 200,000, but it was more obvious than seeing fire that it was impossible for boulders when it came to 100 million.

On top of that, they say they have all-knowing power. I don't know how much, but let's at least work out the best path or see where the trap is. Which means, worst of all, it could even come aboard the home demon palace.

"But if that's true, are you good to be here?

"No problem"

Unlike Yamato, which separates Snow Mountain, Himro is a neighbour of the Sahara. You can attack as much as you want if you try to. Few, if any, kings of hostile nations have led the way. You must also be aware that Zana is here without having to know everything.

"Himro is a snow-covered country. In other words, the water is overflowing. For the Immortal Soldier of the Sahara it is something to be repelled from. … and there's no reason to attack Himro in the first place."

"Why? You must be trying to destroy the Sahara."

"Himro has no power to destroy the Sahara. And there's nothing to gain from destroying Himro. Because Himro is a poor, barren country covered in snow and ice."

At the same time, a scene of Himro's country emerged in Zana's heart.

In that country, closed to ice all year round without season, little grass flowers or livestock grow.

The people forced Lok to live in poverty with nothing to eat, and not even Zana, the royal family, lived in luxury at all.

"If it's barren, isn't it the same with Sahara? I heard it was a desert country."

"No, that's the other way around. No land is more fertile than the Sahara. The desert spreads because of its fertility."

What's in Zana's chest is envy and jealousy, hatred and...

"So if you want to destroy it, you can destroy it, but if you destroy it, no harm is in your interest, and it's not a threat, so it's abandoned."

"... you know what,"

It was a profound remorse for making the people live a painful life.

If that's the case, you can't count on Himro's power.

(... sorry about that)

Reading Oulu's thoughts, Zana says in an infidel, backward sentiment.

(Never mind. I didn't originally count on it. That said -)

"How did you deal with it"

He was a troublesome opponent. Any one of the three abilities...... or maybe something could have been done with up to two. But knowingly, no surprise strategy could be passed, and when the strength of the individual and the power of the number were out of digit, it even seemed like there was no hitter.

"Ouru, oouru! Tatsuki, you have to look! I will!

To the troubled owl, Tatsuki lifted his hand.

"Even if you can manipulate water, you can't create it. What are you gonna do in a sea of sand without a drop of water?"

"Uh. There's no water, but it's the ocean? What's wrong with that?

Oul puts his hand on his forehead, saying who brought this guy to the conference seat.

"Mmm. I wish we could."

"Oh. I'm counting on your power. So when you have to, please."

swooping cheeks. To Tatsuki, Oul said sincerely.

At least, there's nothing more useful than her in terms of defending the dungeon. If the intruder fills the passageway or room where he stepped in with water, it's Tatsuki's private stadium. There's no way a land creature can beat a sea god in an underwater war.

That said, even that outweighs the power of numbers. The dead don't need to breathe, and we can fight them if we just manage to deal with being pushed away with water. You won't be Tatsuki's enemy in those places, but you can't fight with God for days of insomnia.

"The main hall. We'll take care of it."

Quiet...... but it was Ellen who said it in a determined voice.

"Is there anything you can do?

"None."

Neat, in a clean tone, Ellen assures me.

"But it is not our family that will be delayed by 100 million or 200 million."

"Don't be impotent."

"I want you to give us a chance to launder the stigma."

That's what even Ceres said when Oul tried to flatter him.

Stigma would mean taking Xana unconscious of her opponent.

"I don't think it's stigma or anything. That's my fault, and you're not to blame."

"Why didn't you order me to say something? Kill all those who are disturbed."

To Ellen in a hard tone, Oul meditates.

"A human soldier, if it is one hundred and twenty thousand, we shall order it so. But the target is literally a dead soldier, a hundred million troops. It's like going to die."

If you are a living person, you will not retain morale and disintegrate if you do some damage to your opponent.

But a living corpse who knows no fear, nor is hungry, will fight until even the last soldier ceases to move. I'm not a decent opponent to fight.

"For our Lord's sake, I will not spare this life!

"Yes, that's it."

When Ellen took a seat and told him to scream, Lil banged his hands on the bread.

"Ellen, Ceres. I and Owl finally know that you are a thousand soldiers. But, you know, even so, you can only beat a million people. One hundred million is less than double digits. Where do we get 100 million arrows from in the first place?"

"Well, that's... if you make it out of magic"

"Are you willing to empty the dungeon core?

When Lil says so, Ellen groans and pushes silently at the boulder.

"It's definitely my first strong enemy in a long time. Your power will always be needed. When the time comes, I'll let you rely fully on me."

"... Ha"

You managed to convince her, Ellen kneels down and drips her head.

Helpful, I glanced at Lil and she grinned and waved her hilarious hand.

You're so sweet.

(... bad)

To the voice of his heart called by Zana after the dissolution, Oul replied roaring.

Because I had a bad consciousness.

(I'll tell you what, that kid's suggestion is the best)

(I guess...)

You don't have to deal with it all because you have a hundred million soldiers.

Same as chess. If you sacrifice a pawn, you can put a royal hand on it.

Let Ellen and the others open the bloodline unto the king of the sand, and let Eunice and Logan kill the king of the sand.

Oulu also knew that it would probably be best.

But.

I wouldn't spare my life or anything for Oulu.

When Ellen did that, Oulu thought.

I don't like it.

That is not the right decision as a king.

If it takes one damage to keep a hundred alive, you have to choose it.

A hundred million dead soldiers against whom you know everything.

That's obviously because it's a mightier enemy than Raffanis, once led by Merizand.

(Nothing, it's not bad. I wouldn't have said anything either)

He said the best force was to hold Ellen's shoulder there and beat her.

(It was just weird. You have dozens of wives, and you're one of them, aren't you? Or was that black, big breasted kid, white, big breasted kid, your special favorite?

But Zana didn't dare.

Perhaps if you do that, your relationship with Oulu will deteriorate significantly.

Anyway, if you think only of one hand in defeating the Sand King, because if you think about the rest, you've decided it's not a good idea.

(Is there anything special or special? Call me something you don't like.)

(Um... That means I like it, too.)

(Exactly, but what?)

(What?)

Oul stared again at Zana, who opened his eyes.

The wavy purple hair is somewhere fantastic, and the tinted eyes slightly brighter than the hair are like purple crystals.

There is a strange atmosphere that makes you feel powerful and powerful at the same time.

The righteous face and its idyllic standing resembled a fairy, so beautiful that she herself seemed to believe even when said to be the incarnation of the moon.

(hey... why are you dictating about a woman who could be an enemy)

(There is no dictation. It's just a fact. Otherwise, what do you want?)

In response to Oul's words, what happened last night surfaced behind Zana's brain.

(Fool! No this savvy!

Zana throws it away and runs away early enough.

You'd be tired of hearing such a degree of flattery if it looked like that.

Oul sighed and dropped off that back.
