Imperial miscalculation

There are a number of things that the Empire has misunderstood when considering Republic measures. Among other things, the biggest misconception is that the Kamuis are always ahead of the curve. Actually, that's not what happened.

"The Empire stopped negotiating with us and turned to the kingdom."

"It's a quicker decision than I thought. Not bad."

"Don't say it like any other HR. It hurts for us, doesn't it?

The imperial movement has been sent to the Republic quite early. The Kamuis are not ahead, they are ahead.

"We're heading to the kingdom, don't let this one go first. Do you want me to hit you with something?"

"What do you want me to do? The east has been feeling quite responsive."

"That's..."

Kamui's reply to Alto's proposal is unclear. There are circumstances in Kamui that cannot be easily determined. It was Hildegand who opened his mouth when he saw it.

"Kamui."

"What?"

"That's enough."

"What?

"Don't fall in love. Exactly. I get it, too. You're a little stuck because you care about me, aren't you?

"Uh..."

That being said, yes, it is, and it is not something you can say to your mouth.

"Don't worry about the Oriental House. Whatever happens to the Oriental House, I don't care. I am the queen of Artenkreutz. This country is more important."

Words like Hildegand that care more about the public than I do. But in this case, it's about Kamui.

"... right"

"The territory needed for this country is Oriental uncle territory, not Northern uncle territory. If we can get there to our own territory, we can connect directly with the Eastern countries."

This is not necessarily the right answer. However, it is certain that it is one of the choices, and it is impossible to think about removing it from the choices.

"But it will be sandwiched by the empire and kingdom."

"You're never going to abandon Eastern countries, are you? Okay, I'm already pinched. Negotiations with the Union of Eastern Nations are also for that purpose in the first place. To pinch the person you intend to pinch."

"... well"

"Cut off the Oriental House. I and others are already ready for that."

"... then in that direction"

"Is that good?

Alto now questions Kamui, who has lightly accepted Hildegand's words.

"If the Hildegands are saying it's good, we should respect that, right?

"... right. We don't really need to work on the kingdom. If the present king dies without daring provoke, the kingdom will attack. Just keep the current king's feelings connected. Time to die is important here."

If Kamui is convinced, Alto doesn't have to worry about it either. I decided to take care of the Oriental House out of my head.

"At the stage of the attack on the Oriental House, will the kingdom not come in?

"Well, why don't we just hang on to it in exchange for territory?

"That makes the Rawools angry, doesn't it?

"I know even those guys. He says it's better to move north than where we are right now. Well, you'll need to persuade me as a form."

Even if you know it in your head, it doesn't matter if you're convinced of it. The trigger is that the Republic needs to make it.

"Even if they're convinced, what about the people?

"Well, there it is. But when you say that, you're a citizen of the place you assigned to the kingdom."

"The inhabitants, not which country, but which land?

As long as it's not excessive bad governance, no matter who controls it, the people don't care. It should be much more important to be able to live in a familiar land than that.

"Well. Do you have to do everything you can when you actually do it? How do we hold the Imperial side down? I'd like to give the Western uncle another push."

"I'm not sure it'll ever work. That too..."

"Later. On the assumption that the west won't move. The Northeast Uncle House, the Imperial Knights? That's a bit much."

I don't intend to deal with them at once, but a long battle is not where the Kamuis want it. Kelli, one at a time. In that way, it would be desirable to increase the local power by the next step.

"Destroy the center"

"Can we go? I have quite a few people."

"Including distribution"

"... I see. Well, can we go?"

"Chi, hey, the story unfolded too soon to understand"

After laying down the direction, we will proceed with our thinking at once, considering the various possibilities. For the Kamuis, as usual, it was the first time the Hildegands had seen this.

"Take Oriental Uncle. You know this, don't you?

"Absolutely."

"If it's going to be difficult to negotiate, there's only war"

"Yes."

"It's just an invasion war, so if you have too many opponents, you're in trouble. We need an army to control where we've taken control."

"Right."

As the Hildegands can see, Kamui begins to explain in turn.

"That's where we'll need a formula to reduce the number of troops that can participate in the war on the imperial side. Yeah, it's a premise the kingdom won't enter. Stop diplomatically and stick your back in the bunk. This needs a little more consideration and now we're talking on the assumption that we can do it"

"... Yes"

Kamui's explanation, in some of his earlier conversations, is not a word. The relationship that doesn't require this is with Kamui, at least in Alto.

"Reduce the number of Imperial troops. But we need gold and supplies for the army to move. Without this, we can't go to battle with numbers."

"Right."

"Gold and supplies there. In this case, we take the taxes that go up to the Empire."

"How?

"Give the bandits the information and have them take it away"

"... to those people"

"I'm telling you, I'm almost washing my legs now."

"So what now?

"Work like a merchant. You know, the job of carrying things."

"What do you say most of it?

"That's fine. I don't know everything either."

Not all of them are Kamui's men. However, many organizations are in a cooperative relationship. Still, I take dangerous jobs because I thank Kamui for giving me a steady job. Most of the bandits have no choice but to eat.

"I've heard that security is getting worse from one point on. I thought it was like that when the country was in turmoil, but it was the Kamui's money, wasn't it?

"That's why I don't know. Even if it's what they know, you're just preventing it from being wasted. The Empire is spending money on weird things. It's the right thing to do because it's effectively used."

It's a crime.

"That's a joke. But it's also the weakness of the Empire. There's no way you can't attack me."

"Is that a weakness?

Hildegand doesn't know what's weak about bandits being raped. The deterioration of security weakens national power, but this is a consequence, unlike weaknesses.

"The organization and size are too large for tax revenues, no matter how much. Actually enough, but you're wasting too much."

"It may be so"

"But the empire has always been a rich country, so, uh, aside from the common people, it's rich as a country, so that doesn't emerge as a problem. As a result, even if the funds get a little tighter, the correction will remain ineffective and the waste will continue. When you realize it's too late."

"... right"

There are many verses in Hildegand that come to mind. Even during the war, it's the kind of country where a ball takes place because it's the norm every year.

"The kingdom also targeted it."

"What?"

"A number of large merchants were crushed by the prime minister, who was the grass of the kingdom. You're the first to see Otto's home crushed. Since then, the breathtaking merchants of the kingdom have allowed their breadth to prevail in the Empire. If they stop circulating a little, the Empire will be confused."

"That's what..."

"Little by little, this one's getting it back. Aren't you telling me you're getting it back? I'm not giving it back to the Empire, so you're taking it."

"Slow down the tax revenues you enter, and stop the flow of things. Surely the Empire won't be able to move, will it?

"Yes. That's how we bridge the difference in force"

"But it's the people who suffer."

"It's the Conservatives that save it."

The Conservatives do not follow Kamui. But if there is a suffering people, it is the Congregation to save it. If the Republic provides financial support for this, the Congregation will move as it wishes. Naturally, the funds that go around the Congregation were taken from the Empire.

"... the Kamuis are really"

"What?"

"You were thinking a lot, weren't you?

Let me know, I've never figured it out before, a bunch of facts. Hildegand feels sympathy for the Empire, perhaps unknowingly.

"... is that right? Well, as good as that. Next time you get out of the North"

"What?"

"Because leaving the Oriental House is one idea. The empire chose to unite with the kingdom. Though it is no longer necessary to consider the case of tying with the Empire, the option of tying with the Kingdom has not yet disappeared. In that case, you'd better keep the Oriental Uncle and leave the contacts between the empire and the kingdom, wouldn't you?

"... why not?

"If we run out of places to invade the Empire, the Kingdom's options will have to fight this one. You don't have to go out of your way to create a situation like that"

"That's true."

Leave the Oriental House in imperial territory in order to leave the seeds of contention behind. It is not a measure considering Hildegand.

"So north. And if Flyheight can control the south. You can threaten the Empire in the North and the South. It's a long way off. I can completely divide the Imperial Army."

"... Yep"

"So if you go north..."

In this way, the choice of the Empire and Hildegand's decision were to accelerate the thoughts of the stalled Kamuis at once.

◇ ◇ ◇

When the Kamuis were trying to set the direction and move out. Quite apart from that, there were those who were moving.

That's unexpected for the Kamuis, but the effect will be a great miscalculation on the Empire, not the Republic.

"... no way, is that happening?

It is Uncle Oriental who is shaking his voice with amazement. Those who were listening together also show a uniform colour of surprise.

"This is what imperial betrayal is all about. The Empire has lost its existential significance. Do you think loyalty to that empire would betray the Oriental uncle's ancestors, the Four Heroes?

In front of Uncle Oriental, it's Therese who's explaining it. Behind it, there is also my father, my predecessor.

But it's hard to believe.

"If Father had recovered a little more, he could have explained it immediately."

"Dj, Dj, Dj, Facts"

The words are still awkward predecessors, but still, trying to somehow tell Uncle Oriental, he speaks out.

"I have to ask you to believe me in this word, that it is true."

"I believe. I believe..., I can't sort my mind out"

"Or so it is."

Knowing the true relationship between the Empire and the Demon Nation would deny the previous sense of value. Whoever it is, it's not easy to accept.

"But as a matter of fact, why did you give it to me?

"Just like I said. The Empire is not an empire to which Oriental uncle should already turn his allegiance. I just wanted to tell you that."

"... that is"

Turning away from the Empire, Terrays came to tell him, the Oriental uncle thought. Leaving the Empire, asking me to serve myself.

"No, I'll leave this up to Uncle Oriental's discretion. But I just wish I hadn't misjudged you with unnecessary loyalty. And all of us have the blood of the devil. And the royal family of the Empire has the blood of the demon king. I also thought it would be better to tell him that prejudice, such as being a Demon King, is completely ridiculous."

"Really?"

Knowing this fact works in the Republic's favor. Again, it's the same as working against the Empire.

"You're going to assume this. It is good to follow the Empire as it is, to be independent, and to follow another country."

"Arten Kreutz, right?

Another country can't be a kingdom. For the sake of the kingdom, there is no reason why the Terrays should move.

"You'd better tell me this because it's gonna be unfair"

"What is it?

"The Artenkreutz Republic is a complete meritocracy. No special treatment shall be given to the family of any person holding any high office. There's no such thing as home people."

"I see. Really?"

"I can't live in luxury in the first place. But you don't live in poverty either. At least in the national capital, there's a liquor store, and a big bath. Meals aren't bad either. And they're all cheap or free."

"Free?"

"The only people in the capital are literary martial arts officers and their families. I guess it's part of my salary. I don't know about the rest of the city, but from what I've heard, nothing seems to bother me with my life. I won't let it be extravagant, but I'll guarantee a certain life."

Sarasa and Therese say that this is not a complete representation of the facts. No one can starve. The only country now exists is the Republic of Artenkreutz.

"Is there so much national power..."

Uncle Oriental just figured it out. Instead of being poor, he received that it was a rich country.

"It's bad for Kamui if you divulge too much information. Well, I can tell you that the territory of Artenkreutz is not the same as the Northende."

"Yes."

"That's all I wanted to talk about. We'll pull it up with this."

"What? Where are you going?

"I'll just go with a friend. When you have a father and a mother, again... This is also superfluous. Your father, your mother and, of course, I will abandon the fact that I was royal when I left here. So forget about us, Uncle Orient."

"... okay, let's just say"

"Okay, now. Father, Mother, let's go."

Two people, Therese and the Empress, take their seats supporting their predecessors from both sides. Turning down the drop off, as it were, the three of them left the room. The rest of the Oriental House are often frustrated to sort out the situation.

"Father..."

The first person to speak out was Samuel, the son of a son.

"It's not easy to judge. The future depends on those who serve their judgment."

"He said meritocracy."

"That's not all. I don't think the Empire will remain like this. If after flipping an anti-flag against the Empire, the Empire will rekindle it."

"Will you serve it back?

"That's all there is to it"

It's a country I serve all the time. There is also a little desire to be so, in the Oriental uncle.

"But don't send judgment forward forever"

"That's true, though."

"The Republic may attack this way"

"Become!?

Unusual in Samuel opponents, Oriental uncle gives a surprise voice. Samuel's point was entirely out of the Eastern uncle's assumptions.

"Didn't His Royal Highness Prince Therese also say: I don't know how many family members I have. And I think that if you become the Queen, you will give precedence to your country over your parents."

"Shit. Non seems to have been thinking sweetly somewhere."

The fact that his daughter, Hildegand, is the queen of the republic seems to have produced the sweetness of judgment even to the just Oriental uncle.

"We will inevitably remain in the Empire, not to judge that it will be so. Are you sure you want to leave yourself to that flow?

"But difficult. The same goes for subordinate aristocrats, but they will obey if they know they will not be treated favourably."

This is also a negative effect of Hildegand being queen. If you are a Queen's clan fraternity, it is natural to hold considerable power in the Republic. Few people don't think so.

"It's easy to stay in the Empire. If you don't think about what's ahead."

"... break it"

Thinking about it a little bit, Uncle Oriental shrugged. Just one word, but the word runs upset at the heavy ministers around it.

"The Oriental House, right?

It's about Samuel who's calm. Samuel was thinking the same thing.

"Including subordinate nobles. I assume your feelings are already in the Republic? Then Non leaves his feelings in the Empire"

"But then,"

"You think I'm halfway there? But this is not self-preservation or anything. To create a way for those who obey to survive. Those who have lost their way, it is better to take them away if they win."

"... it's not like we're gonna fight all of a sudden, is it?

For the men and women. By this great cause, even if we were ready to break the house, we could not until we were ready to kill each other.

"Naturally. I'll leave the northern half of the territory to you. In the south, there's a nonsense. You consolidate those who agree there. [M] And whoever disobeys it, do not hesitate to drive him south. That's how I color code. Probably won't have to fight. All of a sudden we just crack the territory."

"Okay. Just Father."

"What?"

"Don't give up your life cheaply. Sometimes you'll see your sister."

"Say that dialogue after you win"

"Let me do that."

This is how the Oriental House's policy was decided.

◇ ◇ ◇

There were also people moving in the south. There is also one truth in the south that the Empire does not know. Carlos jumped into the room where the tenant, Deefleet, was.

"I've got information! The Empire is trying to humble the Southern Uncle family and move the Western Uncle family on top of it!

"That's not good. I just need a little more time."

Southern peace still needs time. It's not time to end the peace, it's time to have the power to face the Empire.

"But we're not stopping. If this one expands, it will only expand, and it will speed up the submission of the southern ambassador to the Empire. But you can't just not expand it."

"I know. I can't help it. The problem is the Western House. I want to stop that."

"That, but you think it works?

Carlos knows the disturbing circumstances of the Western House against the Empire. That's how the Kamuis set it up, naturally.

"Depends on the terms of the Empire. If they say they're free to cut the south, they'll be happy to attack. That's what western uncles are like."

Deefreet's tone is to judge others. My relationship with my parents was completely severed in my feelings.

"You're dry."

"Because I know you well. There is no such thing as loyalty to the Empire. He's the only one who thinks about expanding his power. That's why I rode Kamui's ruse. I knew it was a ruse."

"Aren't you mad that your son was killed?

"That's just how I pretend. I think you're glad to see the empire's weaknesses inside."

"... does Kamui know that?

I already know the answer to Carlos asking this. Also, the remorse of being one step ahead of Kamui is gushing in my chest.

"You know what I mean. I'm not going to take sides. It's just a ruse to keep you out of the way. Oh, and the exploitation of Western wealth."

"You seem to be doing well."

"No, 'cause I don't know the Det Chamber of Commerce is a hideout. Really, you don't condone when you trick people. The western uncle would have drawn the Det Chamber of Commerce into his own territory and put aside the tax revenues and the distribution information that the Det Chamber of Commerce has."

"In fact, we oppress other merchants to reduce their opportunities for business, and we serve them to flow into the dark in trouble. Dominate the black market. Profits are taken there, and that doesn't look like the Western Uncle family. You're a genius for cowardice. Those guys."

Table and back. Those two are already working closely together. Flowing luxurious funds. This is a powerful weapon in unifying the back society.

There is another Emperor in the Empire. So much so that rumors begin to circulate that the power of Dark in the back society is becoming overwhelming.

"That's not all. I think the Det Chamber of Commerce will disappear when the black market absorbs a lot. Tax revenues in the Western House have fallen dramatically. There's no Chamber of Commerce to make it up to right away."

"Don't be really impressed when you get there. I will never compete again."

"Are you still willing to compete now?

"The south wants to take its own path in the south. I have that feeling."

"Yes. Then you have to work hard. How do we stop Western uncles for that matter?"

"I have one idea."

If Kamui has Alto, Deefleet has Carlos. That's Carlos' goal, too.

"What kind of a plan?

"Deafried Oppenheim actually spreads rumors that he's alive"

"Oops."

Carlos' measures were poking at Deefleet's intentions.

"And we're making peace in the south"

"... you're gonna say something?

Deefreet also figured out what Carlos was up to.

"You just have to keep up with it properly. If you're that greedy, you think you're gonna do nothing and you're gonna get the south, and you're gonna stay put, okay?

"You're in for despicability, too. But it's funny. The only problem is, as soon as this one returns the flat hand, it could attack you mad."

"Let's leave that to Kamui"

Without thinking about it, Deefleet gets spooked by Carlos, who lightly tells him so.

"If I let you do something like that, you're gonna piss me off again, right?

"I'm fine. I told you Flyheight was funny, too. Kamui doesn't really get angry if he thinks the measures are funny, even if he is embedded"

"Well, that's it"

Talking to Carlos, sometimes, I see Kamui, who Deefleet doesn't know. That's a little bit of a regret for Deefleet.

"He really scares me when I piss him off. I studied it scattered in college to see how far I was fine."

"Normally you don't touch fear, do you?

Carlos, who can do that, is still not the only one.

"Because I did it, I got the credit of Kamui. I'm not the only one. Even Raoul, Tristan, was quite a challenge to Kamui."

Everyone has had one or two habits since college. Carlos is right, and if that's not the case, Kamui won't admit it in the real sense. Seriously, that's one of the conditions when Kamui admits people.

"... Wasn't that enough for me? By the way, can I ask you what you did?

"What I was doing is crap. I thought the weakness was a woman, so I thought I had a female student. I thought Kamui would have trouble dealing with her because she seemed to persevere."

"You think about something amazing. Results?"

It's definitely an interesting idea. Deefleet is also very interested in how the blunt Kamui reacted while being a feminine.

"... the next day, if you were on a date with her, the woman would show up on the spot"

"So?"

"I can't believe you thought so much of yourself. He told me he was happy."

"... how does that happen?

Apparently, in the end, it ended with something interesting.

"Even though I really liked that woman, I was trying to kill my feelings and get along with Kamui."

"So?"

"I heard that. She was furious, that's clear. Ever since, I've been followed by that woman, and since then, my college life hasn't been a woman."

"... that was tough."

Though he was a sympathetic Deefleet to Carlos, who was brilliantly embedded in the ploy.

"That's sweet. There's no way Kamui's counterattack will heal to this extent."

"What do you mean?

"The female student is my wife. He pushed me to the realm, and in the end, he pushed me off."

"... you're a complete loser."

He was a Deefleet who felt the Kamui's obsession with bonding.

"That's the thing. Well, I'm not complaining because I'm a good wife who does everything she can to get married."

"Kamui has a hobby for bonding. Compatibility and seeing a woman's eyes are certain."

"Is that what you still think?

Carlos is asking with a meaningful grin. So Deefleet figured out what Carlos was trying to say.

"... that's what I think."

"What's Serene saying?

"You were angry. But it looks like surprise is bigger than that. Sele knew exactly what Kamui and Theresa had to do with it."

Theresa became Kamui's side chamber. This information was shocking to those who knew them well.

"That's Kamui's side room. And next to it is the Hildegand of the Queen. It just seems like a joke to me."

"Sort of. But Theresa also had something."

"Do you forgive?

"As a result, I am free to stay here thanks to Theresa. You can't say you won't forgive me, can you?

"Right. That's what I can think of. Scary. When you get involved in Kamui, you're gonna have a life you can't imagine."

Smudged with a slightly distant eye, Carlos uttered the word. The same goes for Carlos. Until I enrolled in Imperial College and met Kamui, I couldn't imagine my life being like this.

"Who was it, Lutz? That's what he said."

"What?

"Kamui has the power to change people's lives. My life changed, so did Theresa's. That's what I'm saying."

"... right"

Deefleet was to abandon the Flyheight name and return it to its original name after this day. I made my own decision, Deefleet, but even this seems to be Kamui's work.

Not if Deefreet calls it freedom or anything, given his responsibility for what he carries.
