Battle of the Royer Plains

Since the time of the Schutz Alten Empire, the Royer Plains have been considered one of several defensive points to prevent a central invasion from the south. In the northern part of the plain, there are large rivers that are easy to protect due to the limited number of negotiable points besides the bridges being built.

Seems detrimental to the Allied Coalition Forces of the Kingdom of Sidvest, Diefleet chose the place as a battlefield to intercept the Army of the Kingdom of Dia.

The reason for this is not so complicated. That one of the battlefields that a demonic unit centered around the Ryan tribe deserves to demonstrate its mobility is flat ground. And the other is that if the Royal Dia Army intends to go south, it will still have to use a limited point of negotiation. North or south, because it's a battlefield where the side trying to cross the river is at a disadvantage.

On the side of the Union of Kingdoms of Sidvest there is no reason to rush north at the moment. More than that, it is important to defeat even one soldier of the Royal Diamond Army who has bothered to march us out, making the battle we wait for a favorable situation.

After beating the Royal Army of Dia very hard on the water, he dares to allow negotiations and destroy them after putting them in a state of leeward. This is the tactic Deefleet has in mind.

To do so, we must arrive on the battlefield and prepare an interception posture before the enemy can negotiate. This is the same for the Royal Army of Dia, which is the negotiating side, where the dispute over which will arrive on the battlefield first, should have been, but it did not actually happen.

The Allied Coalition Forces of the Kingdom of Sidvest arrived on the battlefield considerably earlier than the Army of the Kingdom of Dia and were able to prepare for interception at their leisure.

He appeared without much military discussion, and, moreover, he leads it thanks to the ignorance and helplessness of the Army of the Kingdom of Dia: the militarily amateur Claudia and the new generals.

Both armies across the river. 10,000 Royal Diamond Army against 15,000 Allied Coalition Forces of the Kingdom of Sidvest. On top of the superiority of the Allied Coalition Forces of the Kingdom of Sidvest on the number, it is a fully prepared situation to intercept that fence or trench is dug in front of that formation.

In contrast, the Royal Diamond Army has divided it into several units, coming from the front across the bridge or looking for a loose shallow part of the river stream to try to negotiate. Naturally, the Allied Coalition of the Kingdoms of Sidvest, which is at the ready end of the spectrum, is not supposed to allow it, only to be unilaterally attacked and repelled.

The battle is progressing in more favor of the Union of the Kingdom of Sidvest than Deefreet thought. And the same goes for the Kingdom of Dia in terms of miscalculation.

"... Could you possibly not win?

Claudia chose to go out on her own, believing she would definitely win. He looks anxious about the development opposite what he thought.

"No, I will definitely win"

Kevin Ok, one of the brave men, answered Claudia's question. Even though it is an overwhelmingly unfavourable situation, I am letting go of saying that I will win confidently.

"But... you can't cross it at all, can you?

Instead of fighting the Allied Coalition Forces of the Kingdom of Sidvest, we have not been able to cross the river. Moving forward, you just come back under magic and other ranged attacks with victims. Now I know that even Claudia, who doesn't know the battlefield, is quite at a disadvantage.

"That's the problem. I'm sorry we can't even cut our way."

Ok's words are like winning is decided with it if we can get ourselves on the front line. Even if it's reliable, Claudia doesn't know the basis for that confidence.

"I don't know how to put it. I think the magic of the enemy is quite troublesome."

It has been Liner Offiel who has disputed it. This is one of the brave ones.

"Hmm. It's something with extra knowledge. This is why the Demons are called fools."

Oku, who got the word of Offiel, is now complaining about the Demons. What the two of you are talking about is a magical fusion, so there is no doubt that it is the knowledge of the devil tribe, but there is something wrong with calling me a fool.

"Why don't you state the solution, not the complaint. We're not gonna show up like this."

Offiel seemed a little more in a hurry and expressed his dissatisfaction with Ok.

"There's a solution."

Okay, let's get this over with.

"Is that good?

"... don't ask me for instructions. The commander-in-chief of this army is Her Majesty the Empress."

Even if he is militarily ignorant, the Commander-in-Chief is Claudia, more than in his capacity as Empress. It is quite subtle, though, whether the Empress will be given military power in the Ruthuan Empire.

"His Majesty Claudia. May I have your permission to carry out the operation?

Ok turned to Claudia respectfully and asked for permission.

"What's an operation?

Claudia just doesn't get it when they say it's an operation.

"We can't break through enemy lines as we are now. I'm prepared to make some sacrifices here, but I think we should try to break through the enemy front first."

"... sacrifice"

Claudia wonders about Ok's words about being ready for sacrifice.

"It's war, so we can't afford not to make any sacrifices. And that continues to grow today. I think it is more necessary to adopt thoughtful measures than to remain helpless."

"... right. We need everyone here to do their best."

Claudia also knows that you will lose if you keep fighting this way. He leads his own army out, and Claudia gets in trouble if the result is a defeat.

"Full! Fareg! Your Majesty's permission is out! Get your troops together!

Having obtained permission from Claudia, Ok gives instructions to the two remaining brave men, Ervin Full and Harald Fareg.

With that instruction, the two Fr and Fareg issue orders to regroup their troops. There were four units of about five hundred troops that could do it.

Unexplained in detail, the soldiers of the formed units look anxious to see what begins. The war situation is pretty bad. If we were to form a new unit in this situation, it would be a bad situation for the soldiers. Dangerous orders have been issued.

The brave men stand one at a time before each formed unit.

Though they were soldiers in their ranks, thinking that specific orders would finally be issued.

"O brave warriors! God's blessing is upon you! Burn a fire in its heart and fight its enemies with its enthusiasm!

It's O'Fiel spinning words like "fly." But naturally, I'm not just skipping.

"Braveheart!!

Ambition rises from the soldiers of the troops in front of you at the same time as the cry of Offiel. The appearance of anxiety earlier has disappeared altogether, and the opposite is clearly felt blown up by the fighting spirit from each and every soldier.

"Assault!!

"'' Whoa!!

In response to the decree of Offiel, five hundred soldiers rush forward, simultaneously ambitious.

Soldier morale culminates. But that's all.

"... Huh?

Surprising voices leak out of Claudia's mouth when she sees the troops that have popped up so prestigiously, expecting what will happen.

The magic is unleashed from the Allied Coalition Forces of the Kingdom of Sidvest towards the troops who ran to the front line. Many soldiers fell in that blow. More arrows unleashed by the enemy pour over the soldier's head.

This is a development that is no different than before. The only thing that is changing is that the soldiers continue to move forward, over the corpses of their allies, without being frightened by enemy attacks.

"Hold a cross in your chest, warriors! Obey the will of God, fall into darkness and fight the wicked!

Words of chanting that have flown. Now it's Ok's voice.

"Jihad!!

Even if the words spinning are different, the soldiers react the same. Five hundred soldiers rushed to the front again with ambition. On the front line where many allies fall.

"... no"

The upsetting Claudia grunt was only undone by the ambitious voices of the soldiers.

◇ ◇ ◇

Changes in the Royal Army of Dia were also quickly passed on to the Union of the Kingdom of Sidvest, which is on the other shore. The struggle of the soldiers of the Royal Diamond Army, far away, was felt as if it were a hot air.

"Set up an interception! Don't be alarmed!

Deefreet also gives instructions to the soldiers of his own army to keep their attention tight.

Eventually it was about five hundred enemy troops that showed up. The smallest number of assaults ever, but yes, that's why Deefleet's vigilance is even stronger.

"Lord Bacchus! Get ready to go!

Here Deefreet decided to put in a demonic unit that had been kept warm.

"I'm all set. But..."

Bacchus, who usually shows confidence, only this time, shows an attitude that doesn't boil off.

"Is there something wrong?

That Bacchus attitude made Deefleet anxious.

"... the magic of the enemy."

"Magic? What's that?

"Hmm..."

Without answering Deefleet's question, Bacchus closed his eyes. Rather than thinking, it looks like he's exploring something.

"Lord Bacchus. What the hell..."

"Your Majesty! The enemy!

My men's screams blocked Deefleet's words as he tried to further question Bacchus, who had become silent.

"What!?

"Attacking won't stop the enemy! We'll reach the front line as it is!

"Won't you stop?

Moving into Deefleet's eyes with his eyes on the front line were soldiers from the Royal Diamond Army who moved even forward over allies falling to the ground. Every soldier has a bunch of arrows poked at his body, and while he is, he comes forward with no appearance of fright at all.

"Again, yeah"

It was Bacchus who whined.

"What does that still mean!?

"... perhaps, but the enemy army has a brave man"

"Ha!?

The word brave that came out of Bacchus's mouth. Deefleet is distracted by the completely unexpected.

"Well done. It's what showed up for me. resentment of my ancestors a thousand years ago, now is the time to clear up"

Bacchus is showing some exhilaration at the emergence of the brave.

"There's a brave man out there! Be empathetic! Whatever you do, I'll take the brave!

Bacchus flies toward the Demon Squad. Momentum is likely to jump to the front line soon.

"Chi, wait a minute! What does it mean to have brave men?

In a hurry, Deefleet asked Bacchus for an explanation. I thought if people acted on their own without knowing what was going on, the calculations would go crazy.

"You're right. Enemy forces have brave men."

"How do you know that!?

"I felt magic. That's a sign of magic when you activate the sacred magic."

Bacchus said sacred magic. Deefreet doesn't know, but it's separate from the light attribute magic that people call sacred magic.

"... that soldier by magic?

The soldiers of the kingdom of Dia, who have no way of fearing death at all and storm at the swelling. That behavior, which can be described as an anomaly, is also convincing if you say it is due to magic.

"The trouble with the brave is not just the bravery of the individual, but empowering those who fight together. An army turned into a dead soldier is quite powerful, even among people."

Bacchus has not actually fought brave men before. I'm just showing off my knowledge of the brave men I've been told.

"I can't believe the Empire was brave... Claudia's work"

Claudia, who is supposed to be an amateur, such as the military, has gone out. I was wary of something, Deefleet, but I finally figured out why.

"If the brave show up, we'll have to leave. Let's go."

"... you can win, right?

"No matter how strong the brave are, this one has a thousand. Those who have turned into dead soldiers are in the way, but to that extent, they will not fall behind."

"Really? Let's do something about the general soldier here. I don't care if it's someone who just comes in like an idiot."

"Hmm... well, let's ask for that. We want to focus as much as we can on fighting the brave."

Bacchus willing to win, but still hasn't forgotten prudence.

"Then I'll get in shape soon. We're moving to formation two! Hurry!"

Deefleet's instructions fly. With that instruction, the entire army gradually began to change its formation. First of all, the front line backs heavily as they chase the enemy. Troops that were holding back behind them turn to the front line. And behind it, we have a second line of defense. Frontline troops are slowly starting to retreat as they attack their enemies.

It's a move to draw the enemy in.

However, the Army of the Kingdom of Dia continues to move forward with absolutely nothing to do with the movement of its Union of the Kingdom of Sidvest. Either way, it feels like the Union of Kingdoms of Sidvest is attacking to keep pushing the advance of the Army of the Kingdom of Dia.

"What about the brave?

Deefleet asked Bacchus quite a bit where he drew in the Royal Diamond Army. The operation is going well, but the Kingdom of Dia continues to move forward without regard for sacrifice. Pushed by the momentum, Deefleet fears it will be a matter of no tactical retreat.

"... apparently came across. All right, we'll take a detour and fight the brave."

"Please."

Overall, thousands of Royal Dia armies have already deployed. But the Devil's manoeuvre bypasses thousands of them and allows them to attack the brave men behind them.

In my previous battle with the Kingdom of Graz, with tactics I have used many times, both Deefleet and Bacchus are confident.

Demonic troops that jumped out of the main formation with Deefleet. Its mobility is still different from that of the troops of the human race, approaching the rear forces of the Royal Army of Dia, where there would be a mighty brave man.

I'm just crossing the bridge. That unit is roughly a thousand. With the same number, Deefleet thought it wouldn't be a problem to have a brave man, but this was too sweet an idea.

"... what?

It happened as soon as the demonic troops approached the distance of whether they would soon make contact with enemy troops where there would be brave men.

A huge wall of flames naturally risen on the front line so as to separate the Royal Union Army from the Royal Dia Army. I think so, and beside it, the wall of water also rises.

That's not all. A sphere of flame rose above the bridge, and it flew through the universe with Demonic Troops in mind.

"... what do you mean!? What's happening!?

What Deefleet understands is that there are multiple magicians in the enemy who can use fairly powerful magic.

"No way... are you a brave man?

The possibility that the magician was a brave man soon came to Deefleet's mind. I mean, there's more than one brave man. Finally, Deefleet found out about this fact.

"What..."

Further to the movement of the kingdom of Dia, Deefreet was to be upset.

The Army of the Kingdom of Dia began to retreat. I'm not just retreating. The soldiers of the kingdom of Dia, who left the front line, were headed straight for the demonic unit.

"Shit! A trap!?

I was going to pull the kingdom of Dia right in, but I wasn't. For its part, the Kingdom of Dia has set a trap to bring its demonic forces to the battlefield, bringing them deeper into the front line and destroying the siege.

"Front line units in front! Go after the Royal Deer Army!

He was a Deefleet who tried to get the Royal Deer Army to pursue him in support of the Demonic Troops, but this order made no sense.

If we can pursue him, we have issued the order for the front-line commander. The flames and the walls of water that stood in front of us did not allow it.

Almost all the armies of the kingdom of Dia are on their way to the demonic forces. Though considerable sacrifices have been made so far, that number is light over five thousand. That was what was about to attack the Demonic Troops from all directions.

"Send a signal of retreat! Hurry!"

As ordered by Deefreet, the drums of the main battalion are beaten. It's a signal from the drum directing us to retreat. But this doesn't make much sense either.

We know that the demonic forces are about to be besieged. We have already detected the crisis and are trying to break through the siege by targeting a thin part of the siege. But there were brave men in what seemed to be its thinnest place. I can't grasp this from Deefleet, who's in the main unit.

"... order all armies! Take enemy siege position! Transmission!"

"Ha!"

"Instruct all units on the front line to detour forward!

"Ha!"

Upon hearing Deefleet's instructions, the decree was running away to the front.

"The second formation advances to an empty position. When the walls disappear, make sure they attack the enemy!

"Ha!"

to the ensuing order, yet another decree rushes toward the second formation.

"Moving forward the main formation! Make a detour from the right wing and attack the enemy! Go on!"

Deefreet was determined to get even the troops in the main unit to participate in the battle. I am worried about the damage done by the demonic forces, but the situation now is a chance for the Union side of the Kingdom of Sidvest to siege and attack the enemy. Whatever you say, there are nearly three times as many troops as there are enemies.

By this Deefleet decision, the Battle of the Royette Plains moved into a Great Mixed War in which almost all units of both armies participated in the battle simultaneously.

◇ ◇ ◇

- As a result, the Battle of the Royer Plains came to an end with the Kingdom of Dia side pulling back to the opposite shore. The Union side of the Kingdom of Sidvest also retreats without pursuing. After some time of confusion, the battle came to an end when the Royal Diamond Army paid the line.

Then it is not always the victory of the Union of the Kingdom of Sidvest.

The damage caused by the demonic forces of the Union of the Kingdom of Sidvest was immense. The soldiers of the kingdom of Dia, transformed into dead soldiers, continued to fight until everyone was breathless.

As far as the number of soldiers turned into dead soldiers was concerned, they were not so different from the demonic units, but many times as many soldiers attack them, aiming at the gaps they were dealing with. Four brave men have joined the battle in a situation further pursued by that response.

On the contrary, it was a demonic unit that tried to take over those brave men, but it did not stand in the way until the dead soldiers sacrificed themselves, and they could not fight as they wished.

One by one comes out of the demonic tribe, and as the number decreases, the situation deteriorates acceleratively. For a time it was a demonic unit that was also ready for total annihilation, but it was the main unit of the kingdom coalition led by Deefreet that saved it. They attacked the back of the Royal Diamond Army, which besieged the demonic forces. The Royal Diamond Army is in disarray. In the midst of the conflagration, the demonic forces were able to break out of the siege.

Then, this time, the kingdom coalition side almost intensified its offensive in an attempt to annihilate the siege, but the brave men of the kingdom of Dia created yet another dead soldier, making it their lord, which allowed them to retreat to the opposite shore. There are also circumstances in which the Union of Kingdoms did not pursue aggressively.

As a Deefleet, the objective of reducing the number of troops in the Royal Deer Army is fully served. On this I wanted to avoid being forced to fight and increase my own military sacrifices. He was too ignorant of the newly emerged brave man to feel compelled.

So, it is still the loss of the Kingdom of Dia, at least the side of the Kingdom of Dia did not acknowledge it. Using the fact that it inflicted nearly devastating damage on the demonic forces, the main force of the Union of the Kingdom of Sidvest, as an effect, it claims the success, or victory, of the battle.

In comparison to the decrease in the power of the demonic forces and the number of soldiers lost by the Kingdom of Dia, the Union of the Kingdom of Sidvest cannot be completely denied either. in the form that each served its purpose.

Whichever wins or loses is in fact a good thing. It was more important in this case that the presence of the brave man was known, and that the brave man proved to have the power to challenge the devil tribe.

Things are about to move big. Those who should be moving with different intentions will move for the same purpose of causing war on the continent as a result.
