Maou Reijou no Kyouiku Gakari

Episode 3: Former Teacher

Going out the front gate of the college, the day was completely off and it was completely night.

Until yesterday, the stables just near the main entrance are parked with carriages that were commonly used, but now that I am an outsider, there is no way I naturally have such a transfer.

When I tried to move my legs toward home, feeling the chills that were expressing my feelings right now...

"Sir! Sir! Wait!

I hear voices from behind.

Looking back in that direction, I see Lily Hershel, one of my godchildren's most eye-catching students, running this way.

"Lily... what's going on?

Speak to her who came all the way to my sight.

Because I've been running at full speed, my proud long, beautiful blonde hair is greatly disturbed and breathing constantly with her hands on her knees.

"Ha-ha-ha... duh, what's up then... ha-ha... no... My teacher is going to be gone from school... Listen..."

I'm not sure how I found out, but that's how they've run so fast from the dorm.

"Oh, I've just received that proclamation. You're fast on information."

"True...... what?

I get eyes on her as I breathe and raise my face.

A neat face that you might accidentally fall in love with if you weren't in the position of teacher and student, the blue eyes there seeping in tears.

"Oh, it seems true"

"Apparently... why... like other HR..."

"Hmm... I guess that's because I've been put on a sin that I don't even remember at all"

"Oh no..., the teacher is innocent isn't he!?

"Oh, nobody believed me, though. This is the hard part about civilians."

"Then! I'll protest!

"Hey, wait."

Say no or stop Lily from trying to run out toward the front gate without any thought.

"Why are you stopping!?

"... because nothing can be done anymore. I hear the board and the entire faculty have agreed to my deportation."

There is no reason why decisions taken unanimously should be overshadowed by protests from one student.

"But..."

"But it's not. What if I do that and you're in a bad position? What have you been working so hard for? Are you going to waste my guidance?

What a rumor it would be more obvious than to see the fire what would happen if this child, who is out of the same civilian as me, took refuge in a civilian teacher who was deported after a scandal.

But even this kid stands out, so you can't let him carry any weirder burdens.

"But I can't believe the teacher is gone... me..."

Finally, you can't stand it anymore, and you start to zero out the tears of the puffiness and the large grain from those round eyes.

What makes me think so far is that I'm exhausted in teacher profit, but it's also the teacher's job to have to stop the teacher child from trying to sacrifice himself senselessly.

"Lily... you remember exactly what I taught you, don't you?

Put your hands on your head and say so with that soft hair gently stroked.

"Ha... I remember it all... My... gush, half of it... is made of teachers..."

I look at Lily, who replied so in tears, and I remember when she came to school.

While most of those who come to school are aristocrats, this child, who was out of the civilian population, used to cry alone without even decent guidance at the time.

I found such an incomprehensible talent from Lily, and I coached her to the point that I thought she was a fool from around her.

And I am proud to say that I am definitely the one who raised it from the students, who are now famous, to the presence at first sight as well.

It's a strangely misleading rhetoric, but I'm also not mistaken that half of her is made of me.

"Then I'll be fine. If you keep what I say, you can climb higher."

This kid's talent is not the kind of vessel that still fits in here.

Not to mention throwing it away for me right now.

"But... without a teacher, I..."

"That's okay too. If you keep what I taught you, I'll see you again. Here... hold this."

"Is this...?

Lily wiped my tears. I'll take that.

That's normal hair decoration like everywhere. I was secretly preparing it because I heard it was close to my birthday.

I was worried that giving it to him in the position of teacher and student might create strange suspicion, but now it also became a futile concern. Whatever. I'm not a teacher anymore.

It's a birthday present from me.

"A gift......?

"Yeah, I've never bought anything like this before, so I wouldn't vouch for your taste."

"Hair decorations...... right? Can I try it on?

"Oh."

When I tell you that, Lily trims her long golden hair a little with her hands, which still remained messy, and then applies a hair decoration that mimics that white flower.

"How about...?

And then he asks me for my thoughts.

"You look pretty good. Yeah, you didn't throw away my taste either."

"What is it, it"

Lily puts her hand on her mouth and is grinning when she dulls elegantly.

"Put that on and you'll see me again if you keep my teachings."

"Be sure... Is that true?

"Oh, have I ever lied to you?

"… for a fraction"

Lily said that for about a few seconds, thinking that she had done something to keep her face down and think about it.

"That's crazy... did it...?

"Yes, even before..."

And they blossom into old stories and laugh at each other's faces with pieces.

It's a shame we won't be able to watch this kid grow up, but if we don't break each other, sooner or later the road should cross again.

"Well...... and isn't it time to go back?

"... Yes"

I don't know the exact time, but it should be time for the dorm curfew to loom.

Return soon or you will be punished no matter how many honorary students Lily is.

And even though I was fired, my feelings still remain a teacher. Students can't be good at breaking discipline.

"Doctor... really see you again... right?

"Oh, then it'll help if you're so great and you hire me."

When she utters such a joke, Lily laughs when she crinkles again.

"Then the next time I see you, you're not comparable to your teacher - you're getting very great. So I'm going to hire you as a tea maker."

That's what Lily says with a smile as she wipes the tears that have begun to overflow again.

"Tea making... That seems like less painstaking than a teacher."

"Yes, I promise"

"Oh, I asked for it. I'll see you then."

That's what I say, turn your back.

"Yes, please, be well..."

I could hear Lily trembling from behind me, but without looking back as she was, I proceeded with my steps.
