Maou Reijou no Kyouiku Gakari

Episode 28: Pathway Prediction

We literally flew into the elves, also home of Sun at its western edge, a huge forest area lined with large trees that shook through the sky.

If it's normal time, I'd like to take a closer look at the spectacle in it, made by magic joining the top of the tree, but I can't afford to do that right now.

As soon as I get down inside, I'll tell the guards who came to confirm our identity that it's an emergency and ask them to show me to Shi, Sun's mother.

He was then passed into a building like the one he had made by creeping through a large tree near the center of the inside.

"That's not a teacher!... and everyone? Why are you here?

Shi was eating at home and in the building because she still didn't know what was happening to her daughter.

And then suddenly, without any contact, he sees our faces and gives us a strange look.

"I'm suddenly sorry. But, Mr. Shi, please calm down and listen. There's a good chance Sun got caught by someone."

"Heh!? What do you mean, you got caught? She's on guard right now, but why would a teacher do that?"

The entrance door behind us was opened making such a noise that it was about to break as to prevent Mr. Shi from spinning his words.

"Sa, inner length! Oh, my God!

And the young men with multiple pointy ears came indoors from the next in an atmosphere that was not calm.

Were you out until the moment before, and the clothing that is wrapped around it is slightly dirty.

The room was filled with sudden visitors, including us.

"Wow! What a surprise! What the fuck! Next to next!

Suddenly, Shi says that a little angrily against several elves who came in with the door open.

But the fact that you came at this time looking serious...

"Also, sorry! But it's an emergency!

"Emergency?

"Master Sun has been captured by humans!

An elf of a man with the first great agony that came in his face said the same words as I expected.

"Sun!? Hey, why? What are you talking about? I thought you two were on the lookout together!?

"That's... -"

While I'm here, one of the elves who said he was Sun's entourage spins what happened to that kid.

Sun rushed to the scene when he heard a suspicious noise while returning to the inside.

That's where the two elves were attacked by human soldiers.

All the soldiers on the spot defeated him, but then they saw a strange woman appear, and Sun ordered them to evacuate with the injured.

And when he returned to his original location to evacuate the injured man and cover Sun, he said that Sun had already been defeated by the woman and transported somewhere.

When we heard about it, we also communicated with Sun and told him that we had rushed right here.

"Lie... no... how..."

When she found out that the hard to believe event was that her daughter had been taken away by a human being, Shi covered her face with both hands.

"Sorry! It's all our fault! I can't believe... I can't believe that kid was the daughter of the Demon King... Really... how can I make amends..."

"No, if we had helped Master Sun from the beginning..."

"No, you guys are enough to come home. If Sun had gotten his hands on enough guys to lose, they could have all been caught."

Yes, it would have been a really helpless situation if even these four had been caught.

If you think about it, I can tell you that Sun was lucky to still be unhappy when he made the four of them evacuate first to serve as his hall.

"Besides, it's not like we're revealing where the blame lies right now. Mr. Shi, do you have a map of this neighborhood?

Yes, now I can't help but regret the past.

We should devote even a second more time to what we should do from here than that.

"Map......? Why...?

I can still hear my crying voice coming from the inside of my hands placed on my face.

"We'll go after the enemy who caught Sun."

"Chasing... even though I don't know where he went..."

Surely the status quo doesn't even know where or when the enemy that captured Sun is.

In this situation, where we went after it without darkness, it's almost impossible to capture it.

"That's why you can't give up. And... we have Fia."

"Fia...?

Mr. Shi takes his hands off his face and looks at Fia.

"Huh!? Wow, it's me!?

You didn't think your name would come out here, and Fia herself raised her voice as she pointed at herself.

But in a situation of chasing an invisible enemy, only the point of view of transcending that ordinary man that this child has depends on.

"Oh, I'm gonna need that power of yours to help Sun"

"Have a Sun...... ok! So, what should I do?

Fia answered that in a tone that felt powerful.

When Sun was hit by an unidentified enemy, he had pretty much disappeared in the mansion because he was only listening to that voice, but he seemed to get back on his feet well.

"Mr. Shi, I need a map, please"

"Ugh, yeah... uh, the map is... definitely here... there was"

Mr. Shi took a piece of paper rounded out of the shelf on his desk and spread it over his desk.

There are detailed depictions of not only this forest area, but also the topography just ahead of the human world.

"Fia, I want you to combine this map with the stories of those people to predict what path the guys who caught Sun are going back to the human world. Can you do that?"

"That's a prediction...... yes, I'll try. Uh... excuse me, can I talk to you in a little more detail?

"Yeah... anything we can do..."

Fia spreads the map over my desk as I instructed and starts hearing from the four people who were at the scene at the time.

From here on out, no matter what means you take, you can't get your hands on it if you don't know where the enemy is first.

I know you're asking for something pretty unscrupulous, but this is the only one I can count on right now.

I just have to believe that Fia should manage to get a clue to follow the enemy's footsteps.

"What should we do?

"Isna and Fem need help with Fia."

"Okay."

"Roger..."

We will share our respective roles with the sisters.

For a moment, Rose's word that I would take command of these kids and fight them is past my head, but I'll get rid of it once and for all.

Helping Sun is now a prerequisite in everything. Don't even think about it.

"Anna will gather those who can move quickly with Mr. Shi. Stand as good as you can."

"Got it. Master Shi, show me to the young people."

"Ugh, yeah... Doctor, I'm sorry... I'm... upset at all..."

"It's okay. Leave it all to me. … I will definitely help."

That's what I'm going to say to Shi, who looks like he's in a bad mood.

No matter how long you stand, there's no way you can stay calm when you hear your daughter has been captured all of a sudden.

So I'm the only one in command here who knows the most about the status quo on behalf of this guy. Decide so and see the two of you out.

"Well... excuse me, can I ask you one thing too?

Ask one of the four people Fier is listening to, Sun's entourage.

Whether you can catch up or not depends on Fia's predictions... but there's only one thing I need to check with you.

"Yes, what is it?

"The woman that Sun stayed and fought alone... what was he like? Can you tell me what the general characteristics are?

People who can defeat Sun by themselves, that's not so much if you're a woman too.

There is an uninterrupted and unpleasant feeling in my chest.

If that woman is who I think she is...

"The human woman..."

From that mouth, the characteristics of the woman are spoken.

Quantitative red-brown hair tied in two, light attire that seems to emphasize lightness without weapons. And a carefree look and tone.

There was only one person in my knowledge who was strong enough to match that information and defeat Sun alone.

Liza Eclair.

A woman who is seen as the best martial artist in the human world, worshipped by the name of the Fist Saint, making her one of those called a line of brave men.

"You're pretty sure of that trait, aren't you?

"Yes... I remember clearly..."

I ask again as a precaution, but there were no words out there that would deny me this heartbeat.

"Ok...... Thank you. Then go back to Fia."

Think while urging me to do so against the elf who answered the question.

I don't know what the purpose is, but I didn't know one of them was coming out here...

Now the situation could have gone even further than I had imagined it to be.

No, not if you're thinking about such a weakness. If you ever meet him face to face, naturally, I'll do it.

But can you win the battle with the front cut...

No, I'll take them. That's why I've been working on myself till today.

It's not a question of whether you can win. You have to fight to help Sun, no matter who your opponent is.

"... you know? Doctor?"

"Huh? Oh... Phea, what's up?

When you are alone in deep thought, you are inadvertently called out from behind.

"Forecast, done."

"You're early... are you done yet?"

"Yes, may I have it confirmed?

I said so in a tone of strong confidence. Moving my gaze to a large map spread out in front of Feer.

There's all sorts of details about the routes where the Suns made their warnings and where they got caught.

And in the eastern part of the forest zone, there was an unmistakable handwriting of the point where the enemy was predicted to be at present, and the path he thought would continue.
