Countless snow-white true dragons charged together toward that towering dharma idol. Though the sight was incomparably magnificent, when all was said and done, it was simply the result of someone slashing out with his saber again and again.

The true dragons were manifestations of saber qi.

The towering dharma idol lowered its gaze indifferently toward the young human martial artist, who was as insignificant as a grain of dust beneath it. As a Fuyun great demon, one so rare that none had emerged for ages, its status was exalted beyond compare. It could be said that aside from the Demon Emperor, this great demon stood above every other demon who had yet to step into the Fuyun Realm.

After cultivating in seclusion for centuries, paying no attention to worldly affairs, its cultivation had naturally become unfathomable. Even as it sensed the overwhelming saber qi surging skyward, the Fuyun great demon remained unmoved. Before coming here, it had heard a few things - that this young human martial artist had reached the Fuyun Realm before the age of thirty and was one of the world's most extraordinary figures.

But no matter how extraordinary he was, could a young man not yet thirty years old possibly compare to its centuries of painstaking cultivation? If that wasn't a joke, then what was?

So, when faced with those so-called true dragons, that Fuyun great demon merely extended one enormous hand and brought it crashing down.

Vast clouds of demonic qi gathered into its palm before descending. As the pitch-black demonic clouds pressed downward, it seemed as though heaven and earth themselves had been compressed.

In truth, though this Fuyun great demon's movement appeared casual, it contained an incomparably terrifying flow of demonic qi. Great demons who had cultivated to this realm possessed an unparalleled mastery over demonic qi. As its hand descended, it instantly formed a pocket world, drawing those snow-white true dragons into it. Then, through the circulation of demonic qi within that world, the true dragons seemed to come under invisible pressure. Layer after layer of unseen demonic qi compressed them from all directions, and within moments, several of the true dragons shattered.

Yet what the eye could see was that, after the true dragons broke apart, the snow-white qi scattered in every direction without any discernible pattern. Within that newly created pocket world, they carved countless crisscrossing ravines.

No matter how carefully constructed or exquisitely refined a pocket world might be, if someone tirelessly slashed through it again and again from every direction, could it truly endure?

That was exactly the situation now.

As Chen Chao's countless true dragons shattered, it was as though someone were recklessly hacking away with a saber, reducing that pocket world to pieces in an instant.

The Fuyun great demon had paid it little heed at first. But by the time it realized what had happened, it was a little too late.

The pocket world shattered.

The gathered demonic qi crumbled apart like drifting dust.

The largest of the snow-white true dragons burst from the cloud of dust and slammed toward its palm.

The great demon raised its hand and struck downward with tremendous force. Terrifying demonic qi surged together there as the two overwhelming forces collided. As the demonic qi continued pressing downward, the true dragon was gradually devoured until it vanished from sight.

Just as the Fuyun great demon thought it was nothing impressive, a snow-white blade light finally rose from the earth. It shot upward from the ground like a white line stretching several thousand feet.

A black figure appeared before him, and then that blade slashed down without the slightest hesitation. As the saber light fell, all the demonic aura before the great demon was swept backward as though a violent gale had blown through it.

That Fuyun great demon finally became nervous at this moment.

He genuinely felt the terror of the saber before his eyes. If that saber light fell, it was highly likely to shatter his towering dharma idol.

Demon powerhouses were extremely fond of using dharma idols against their enemies. Naturally, it was because unfolding a dharma idol allowed them to display their cultivation realm almost perfectly, to the fullest extent.

But when they truly encountered an even stronger opponent, no matter how powerful the dharma idol was, it was of little use.

So when that saber fell, the Fuyun great demon resolved to withstand it first and think about the rest afterward. Thus, vast amounts of demonic qi instantly appeared before his dharma idol, stacking layer upon layer into barriers.

But when that saber descended, its momentum actually surged again and again. In an instant, it was as though it had already reached the top of a hundred-foot pole, only to take another step forward, or as though one had climbed to the summit of a mountain only to find an even higher peak beyond.

In short, it was likely that there was no second person in the world who could deliver such a saber.

Unlike the magnificent snow-white true dragon from before, this saber did not appear nearly as grand or spectacular, and could not even be called eye-catching. But just as even farmers and street thugs understood a simple truth.

A dog that bites does not bark.

This saber had gathered all of its qi into the saber itself, and that was why it did not look the least bit earth-shaking.

But its true might was enough to fill anyone with fear.

The great demon took a deep breath and received the saber.

Then... a scene so shocking that words could scarcely describe it.

In front of the great demon, the overlapping layers of demonic qi were split apart beneath that single saber, like a river cleaved in two. Countless strands of demonic qi shattered almost in an instant.

Beneath that terrifying, boundless saber light, the towering dharma idol of the Fuyun great demon continuously shed demonic qi, almost completely wrapping itself within it. Yet beneath that saber, his demonic qi continued to shatter without end.

Then the saber landed on the dharma idol itself. To the naked eye, in that instant, sparks flew everywhere.

With the demonic qi no longer concealing it, the dharma idol's true appearance was finally revealed in full.

The young martial artist, who was no bigger than an ant in front of the dharma idol, merely smiled faintly and shook his head, "How ugly."

Compared to such insulting words, the Fuyun great demon had never cared about that.

What he cared about was probably when that saber would finally exhaust its strength.

But after resisting it for roughly a moment, the Fuyun great demon clearly sensed that the saber's might had begun to climb once more.

At this moment, after sensing this change, the great demon wore an expression as though he had seen a ghost. His enormous dharma idol no longer hesitated and immediately retreated explosively.

In a single instant, it had already withdrawn several thousand feet away.

But that saber still pressed after him.

However, the young martial artist, who had remained suspended in midair the whole time, raised his head and looked into the distance.

Demonic qi filled the distant sky, and in the blink of an eye, it gathered into two towering dharma idols.

The corners of Chen Chao's lips curled, "After reaching this realm, you still fucking need to fight three against one?!"

The two Fuyun great demons who had been lying in ambush here all along were determined not to let the young martial artist leave safely. They just looked at him indifferently.

In the next second.

A colossal dharma idol with overwhelming presence suddenly manifested.

Where the young martial artist had originally been standing, a gigantic, towering dharma idol suddenly appeared.

Its appearance was exactly the same as his.

After the dharma idol appeared, it simply reached out and drew a gigantic straight saber from midair.

"Three against one? Come and try?"
