"A parallel universe? Are you kidding me?"

Invisible Woman Susan froze when she heard Orion Cross’s words, then chuckled softly and stood up.

"Sorry for disturbing you. Once I figure out what happened, I’ll come back and apologize to you."

The black clothes floated toward the door of Orion Cross’s bedroom. Invisible Woman was preparing to leave.

"Do you know Tony Stark? The famous heir to Stark Industries."

"Do you know Steve Rogers? The superhero from World War II."

Orion Cross tossed the phone over again. "If you don’t believe me, you can search their names too."

The Fantastic Four movie universe existed independently from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There was not even a S.H.I.E.L.D. on their side, so naturally, there could not be members of the Avengers either.

"It’s real..."

After Susan checked with doubt in her heart, she held the phone and immediately fell into chaos.

This world was almost exactly the same as the world in her memories, but there were a few extra people. And those people were not lacking in fame or influence.

"Could it have been caused by the energy produced by the cosmic rays?"

"And is my current invisible state also because of the cosmic rays?"

Susan stood there, her mind a complete mess as she grabbed at her hair.

No one could suddenly arrive in another world without any preparation and still remain calm.

"Right, my friends! Could they have come to this world too?"

Susan suddenly remembered the other three people on the space station. She stuffed Orion Cross’s phone into her pants, opened the door, and was about to leave.

"Orion Cross, there’s someone else in your room..."

The moment the door opened, Skye was standing outside with a thermal imaging alarm device in hand, looking toward Orion Cross’s bedroom in confusion.

And by sheer coincidence, Invisible Woman Susan’s superpower failed at that exact moment.

A blond beauty wearing only underwear stood at the door of Orion Cross’s bedroom, with his phone stuffed into the front of her pants.

"Sorry. I didn’t see anything."

Skye immediately turned around and ran back to her room.

"You made me get misunderstood, and you’re still planning to leave?"

Watching the young woman flee in panic, Orion Cross did not care much. He simply smiled at Susan and asked.

"Lend me some clothes."

Susan lowered her head and looked at her outfit, feeling that if she walked straight out like this, she would probably be mistaken for a streetwalker.

"No need. Come here. I can tell you whether your friends are in this world, and whether you can go back."

Orion Cross leaned against a beanbag chair nearby and beckoned to Susan.

"What are you trying to do?"

Susan cautiously took a step back.

The man in front of her had strong combat skills. Earlier, in the dark, he had captured her without any effort.

"Let me introduce myself. I can travel between various dimensions. I’m skilled, experienced, and the dimensional guardian of Earth happens to be my friend."

Orion Cross snapped his fingers and spoke.

"What do you need me to do?"

Although Susan was half-skeptical of Orion Cross’s words, she was currently completely at a loss. Hearing what he said, she subconsciously placed her hope in him and obeyed his instruction.

"Walk over and stand in front of me."

Orion Cross gave the order.

"And then?"

Susan walked up to Orion Cross and shrank her neck somewhat uncomfortably.

She was a researcher, not a lingerie model. This situation was way too strange!

"Wait a moment."

Orion Cross took out his phone, recorded a short video, then sent it to the Ancient One in his friend list.

Before long, the Ancient One replied.

"So, you called me over just to record a video and ask someone else?"

Susan watched Orion Cross chat there and felt both amused and exasperated. She had thought Orion Cross had said all that because he was about to cast some kind of magic.

"She is the dimensional guardian of this world. She has already told me about your situation. For now, you are the only person who has come to our world."

Orion Cross locked the phone screen, tossed it aside, then looked up at Susan and spoke.

Susan was a little disappointed, but also let out a sigh of relief. "Then can you send me back?"

"Before you appeared in my room, you were on a space station in outer space, right?" Orion Cross asked.

"That’s right. And we were hit by intense cosmic rays. It’s very possible that energy was what..."

"Then you can’t go back."

Orion Cross spoke bluntly, cutting off Susan’s words.

"Why?!"

Susan froze, then widened her eyes and asked.

"To travel between dimensions, you need specific coordinates. And the only coordinate from your world is you."

"And before you left, you were on a space station and were struck by cosmic rays. That space station has most likely already been destroyed."

Orion Cross spread both hands. "So, if we go to your world, we’ll immediately be exposed to outer space. After waiting a few seconds, we’ll die on the spot."

Of course, in reality, the only one who would die on the spot would be Invisible Woman. Orion Cross himself would not die.

"Then... what should I do?"

Susan collapsed to her knees, tears slowly flowing from the corners of her eyes.
