Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang—!

Rapid gunshots rang out in succession as several energy bullets poured toward Black Sky.

Black Sky had suffered earlier and knew these bullets had tracking properties, so he simply stopped trying to dodge.

His ten fingers suddenly elongated, his nails becoming as sharp as knives, and his wrists flipped rapidly, leaving a trail of afterimages.

A series of crisp clangs rang out as all the incoming bullets were deflected by him.

Click! Click!

The sound of an empty chamber locking back suddenly came from the dual pistols in Darian’s hands.

Black Sky had already merged with the memories of this body. Hearing this sound, he understood immediately, and a cruel sneer curled on his face.

"Out of bullets, are we? Then you can go die!"

Taking advantage of this gap, Black Sky lunged forward close to the ground, then leaped up, his claws tearing through the air with a piercing screech as he swiped at Darian’s face.

But just as he rushed close, Darian suddenly grinned, revealing two rows of white teeth.

"Fooled you, you stupid dog."

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang—!

The dual pistols that were supposed to be jammed spewed fire again, and dense energy bullets shot out from the muzzles.

The distance between them was too close; Black Sky had no room to react, and the swarm of bullets plunged directly into his body.

"Aaaagh! You despicable human!"

Black Sky trembled all over from the pain, as plumes of black smoke billowed out from the bullet holes.

Those energy bullets carried a light attribute, which was more lethal than poison to him. They began burning his flesh as soon as they entered his body, and the sound of sizzling continuously came from inside the wounds, the pain stacking layer upon layer.

Darian didn’t look embarrassed at all: "When dealing with an evil unorthodox like you, there’s no need to talk about martial honor. Everything is for justice."

Black Sky cursed in a rage: "You’re just a petty man who loves sneak attacks! Who is the evil unorthodox here?"

"You, of course. Could it be me?"

While Darian spoke, his hands didn’t stop moving.

Dead Eye was already active. Under its buffed state, the dual pistols didn’t need reloading, directly entering infinite firepower mode. The energy bullets formed a continuous line of fire, frantically strafing Black Sky.

Black Sky was beaten back step by step, the bullet holes on his body becoming denser until his entire torso was almost riddled like a honeycomb.

Black smoke billowed from his body, growing thicker and thicker. That holy energy continued to burn inside him, and he was almost burnt through.

"Bastard!"

Black Sky let out a roar of fury.

He thought that with the Sorcerer Supreme gone, he could do as he pleased on Earth. As it turned out, he hadn’t even left his starting point before being made so miserable by a human. It was an utter humiliation.

The next moment, a thick surge of black energy spread out from around him, and the pungent smell of sulfur quickly filled the air.

His face began to twist violently, his eyes glowed crimson, and his mouth split all the way down to below his ears, revealing a mouth full of fine, sharp teeth. At the same time, his frontal bone bulged outward, and two small sharp horns poked out from under the skin.

The whole person looked exactly like a demon crawling out of hell.

The muscles all over Black Sky’s body expanded rapidly, tearing through his shirt and pants, revealing dark red skin like magma underneath.

The dense bullet holes on his body began to crawl and heal frantically, muscle fibers pulling and stitching together, the edges of the wounds closing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

In the blink of an eye, the bullet marks from before had all completely disappeared.

"Entering Phase Two already?"

Darian reached out and wiped his face; the magic mask emerged, and a white robe donned his body as his various attributes soared rapidly.

It’s just Phase Two, who doesn’t have one?

Black Sky glared at Darian, his voice full of rage: "I will tear your body to shreds and then swallow your soul!"

Boom!!

The ground beneath his feet exploded, gravel flying everywhere, as he rushed over at extreme speed.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Darian fired four shots in a row, the energy bullets curving in several arcs straight toward Black Sky.

Black Sky swung his arms, deflecting them all with his claws. His forward speed didn’t decrease at all, and in an instant, he was in front of Darian, swinging his right claw down in a wide arc.

Clang!

Darian flipped his hands, the dual pistols instantly switching into long blades in his palms. He raised them in a cross, blocking Black Sky’s descending claws.

Claws and blades collided, kicking up a series of sparks and a sharp, ear-piercing sound of metal grinding.

The two were deadlocked for less than half a second before exerting force simultaneously. As their figures blurred and crossed, blades and claws continuously clashed, the dense sounds of Impact merging into one.

The aftershocks of the battle blasted cracks into the ground, and gravel was swept up by the airwaves, flying everywhere.

Suddenly, Black Sky lunged and grabbed the body of the long blade, ignoring his palm being cut by the edge, and gripped it tightly.

Before Darian could pull it back, he opened his giant mouth that had split to his ears, and a large mass of fire surged from deep in his throat, drenching down toward Darian’s head.

This fire was no ordinary flame; it was the Primordial Fire from the Hell Dimension, with a temperature high enough to melt alloys in a very short time, let alone a body of flesh and blood.

The flames instantly enveloped Darian, his figure completely swallowed by the red light of the fire.

Black Sky thought Darian was finished.

However, in the next second, an elbow glowing with white light suddenly burst out from the center of the flames, slamming hard into Black Sky’s face.

Charging · Muay Thai Warning!

Boom!!

Accompanied by a loud, muffled bang.

The tip of the elbow sank deep into Black Sky’s face, smashing the entire face inward.

His head snapped back, his neck stretching at an unnatural angle. His entire body was carried by this force, his feet leaving the ground as he flew straight back over ten meters, slamming heavily onto the altar. The stone surface shattered on the spot, sending debris everywhere.

Darian strode out from the flames.

The flames of the Hell Dimension were still burning on him, but those flames automatically veered away when they got within a few centimeters of his body, as if pushed away by an invisible force, sliding along his body to both sides without even singeing a corner of his clothes.

Black Sky struggled to lift his head, watching Darian walk out of the flames unscathed, his face written all over with disbelief.

"A mere human can actually withstand the fires of Hell!?"

"The things humans can do are far more than you can imagine, like this."

Darian pulled out the goblin scimitar and pointed the tip at Black Sky. A circle of yellow runic patterns immediately lit up beneath the latter.

Rumble!!

Thunder exploded as a thick bolt of lightning fell out of thin air, striking Black Sky violently.

"Aaaaaaaaaah—"

As the lightning poured into his body, Black Sky let out a series of miserable screams.

His whole body convulsed from the electricity, current coursing everywhere. One crack after another exploded on the surface of his dark red skin, and blue smoke billowed from all over him. He looked miserable to the extreme.

Watching Black Sky getting his skin ripped open by the lightning, Darian muttered: "The power of thunder is so useful, yet that guy Thor just knows how to swing his hammer all day. What a waste."

He didn’t approach, staying in place to observe. He knew this kind of thing wouldn’t be finished so easily.

Sure enough, the lightning on Black Sky soon dissipated.

He slowly raised his head, the red light in his eyes brighter than before.

"Human, you have completely enraged me!"

Black Sky opened his mouth, and the voice he produced no longer sounded human at all, carrying a low echo from the depths of Hell.

The next moment, his body changed once again.

Bones emitted a series of crisp cracks as his size expanded frantically. His height, which was originally less than two meters, instantly shot up to over three meters. His shoulders became as broad as small mountains, and his arms were thicker than Darian’s thighs.

Under the dark red skin, veins bulged like magma flowing inside, glowing with an eerie red light.

Those two small sharp horns from before now grew frantically, becoming over half a meter long, pitch black and shiny. The tips were sharp enough to easily pierce steel plates, and the horns were covered with twisted black runes, constantly emitting black gas. The aura was terrifyingly daunting.

As one of the oldest primordial demons of the Hell Dimension, even if it was just an avatar that descended, the Beast’s Source Power was enough to make the vast majority of superpowered individuals on Earth tremble with fear.

He had been suppressing his power, worried that this vessel wouldn’t be able to withstand his source. If the body collapsed, this descent would be in vain.

But now he couldn’t care less.

This mortal in front of him had made him stumble repeatedly, driving him to the edge.

If the vessel collapsed, it collapsed; he could just find another one. But today, this hateful human must die!

"Roar!!"

Black Sky tilted his head back and let out a sky-shaking roar.

A violent surge of energy exploded with him as the center, an Impact wave sweeping out in all directions.

Darian crossed his arms in front of him, the Protection Spell instantly activating as an energy shield covered his entire body.

Boom!

The energy Impact wave slammed into him, his feet carving two long drag marks on the ground. He slid back over ten meters before steadying himself.

But the Superheroes around weren’t so lucky; they were blown away directly, slamming heavily onto the ground.

Superpowered individuals with tough skin like Luke Cage were fine, but ordinary people like Matt, whose bodies hadn’t been enhanced, suffered. Their bodies sustained various degrees of trauma, and they could barely stand up.

Seeing this, Darian said to Daniel, who had stood up beside him: "Take them out of here."

Although he liked group fights, a battle of this level was clearly no longer suitable for the other Superheroes to continue participating in.

Daniel frowned: "Then what about you alone? They still have so many people."

"I have quite a few on my side too."

As Darian’s words landed, the shadows under everyone’s feet moved simultaneously.

A ripple spread across the surface of the shadows, and one pitch-black arm after another reached out from within, fingers splayed to grip the ground, pulling their bodies out from the darkness.

Even the shadows under those ninjas were no exception, as Shadow Soldiers dressed in Japanese attire crawled out one by one.

In a matter of moments, the area around the altar was densely packed with Shadow Soldiers, their dark red eyes forming a continuous line in the dark, looking exceptionally eerie.

After the Shadow Soldiers stood firm, they didn’t pause at all, lunging directly at the ninjas beside them.

The ninjas scrambled to counterattack, but their attacks were useless against the Shadow Soldiers; the wounds healed in an instant.

Similarly, when the Shadow Soldiers’ attacks landed on the ninjas, the ninjas could also heal rapidly.

The two groups of unkillable soldiers tangled together. The sound of blades entering flesh was everywhere, flesh and blood flying, and for a time, the scene was chaotic to the extreme.

Daniel stared wide-eyed at this scene, his mouth slightly open.

Is this the magic of Kamar-Taj?

This is way too cool!

Unlike his Iron Fist, which just has two glows of golden light on his fists, and then it’s just basic attacks, basic attacks, basic attacks. It doesn’t look prestigious at all.

If he had known, he should have fainted a bit further away back then. Maybe he would have been picked up by a mage from Kamar-Taj, practiced magic from then on, and become Grandmage Daniel. Future battles would be all special effects; just thinking about it felt cool.

It was lucky Darian didn’t know Daniel’s thoughts, otherwise he would definitely roast him: luckily you weren’t picked up by a Kamar-Taj mage, or you’d have turned from a Grandmaster into a Grand-debtor.

At this moment, Black Sky had completely lost his human appearance. The three-meter-tall demon stood on the ruins of the altar, his chest heaving violently, black gas constantly puffing out with his breath, making even the surrounding air become viscous.

Black Sky glared at Darian, his face hideous: "Human, this is the end."

As soon as he spoke, dense black energy surged from his body, spreading along his surroundings.

Wherever the black gas passed, the surrounding light was directly sucked away, and the space around him quickly dimmed until one couldn’t see their own hand in front of their face.

The ground beneath his feet slowly burned red, from an initial dark red to a piercingly bright red. High heat rose from the ground, and the surrounding temperature soared rapidly. The air began to twist and deform, and everything looked wavy.

The smell of sulfur in the air also became more intense, as if they had been dragged into the depths of Hell in an instant.

At the same time, faint, shrill screams could be heard in the ears, as if countless souls were being tortured. The sounds were sometimes distant and sometimes close, sharp and ear-piercing, making one’s heart flutter with anxiety.

These screams weren’t just simple sounds; they also carried a weird spiritual power that bored into the brain through the ears, constantly battering Darian’s consciousness, making him feel a bit dazed.

"Sounds terrible."

Darian quickly snapped out of it, frowned, and immediately pulled out the angel halo to wear on his head.

In an instant, the angel halo emitted a layer of soft white light. The screams in his ears vanished without a trace, replaced by a gentle and solemn Hymn.

That weird spiritual power was instantly dispersed by the purifying power of the Hymn, no longer having any effect.

Seeing this, Black Sky immediately increased his efforts. The screams rang out again, and even louder than before, momentarily drowning out the Hymn.

"Damn it, playing sound in public, do you have any civic mindedness!"

Darian was not to be outdone, reaching out to feel the edge of the halo and quickly finding a scroll wheel.

He turned the wheel a few times, and the volume of the Hymn grew louder and louder, once again drowning out the screams. Even Black Sky’s ears were filled with the Hymn, and it even had a 3D

surround sound effect. He felt his soul being purified, having an urge to put down the butcher’s knife and go to Heaven.

The crowd: "....."

No, can this thing even adjust the volume?
