Chapter 344 - 343 (Part -2)
"You... you know who I am?" Rachel stammered, her eyes wide with shock.
"Of course I do," the girl replied, accelerating the Mercedes onto the empty, dark highway. "I didn’t pick you out of that crowd by accident. You’re the top trauma and internal medicine specialist in the state. I needed your help with something. That’s why I picked you up."
Rachel was completely bewildered. She shook her head. "You robbed a high-end restaurant, blew up half a luxury hotel, and held fifty people hostage... just to get a doctor?"
The girl smirked. She tapped her manicured fingers on the leather steering wheel.
"It was just for fun," the girl said, her eyes flashing with excitement in the mirror. "I was bored. Honestly, holding up fifty arrogant snobs and watching them cry over their Rolex watches is exciting. I didn’t really care about the money. I just gave it all to the hired help. It was just a thrill ride. And as a bonus, I found a very good piece of necklace."
Rick leaned back against the plush leather seat and let out a loud, booming laugh.
"You’ve got to be kidding me," Rick said, highly amused by her sheer audacity. "If you needed a doctor, why make such a massive fucking scene? Why not just book an appointment like a normal person? Walk in, pay the copay, and walk out."
The girl met Rick’s gaze in the rearview mirror. Her blue eyes sparkled with mischief, danger, and undeniable arrogance.
"Because, pretty boy," she purred, licking her red lips slowly, "where is the fun in just asking?"
Rick grinned. He liked her. She was completely crazy, dominant, and ruthless. She treated the world like her own personal playground. Exactly his type of mess.
"So, what’s the medical emergency?" Rachel asked, her professional instincts slowly overriding her fear. "Who needs treatment? Is someone dying?"
"You’ll see when we get there," the girl deflected easily. She wasn’t going to give up her secrets yet.
"And what about him?" Rachel asked, pointing an angry, manicured finger at Rick. "Why did you bring him along? You only needed me. He’s just dead weight."
The girl glanced at Rick’s broad shoulders, his bloody black shirt, and his confident, arrogant posture.
"He offered himself up," the girl said, her voice dropping an octave. "Besides, a girl can never have too much eye candy around the house. He’s got a big mouth, but I bet he knows how to use it."
Rick let out a low whistle. "Oh, honey. You have no idea. I have a Ph.D. in using my mouth. I can make you scream loud enough to wake the dead."
"We’ll see about that," the girl teased back, a smirk playing on her lips.
"You two are disgusting," Rachel muttered, turning her head to look out the dark window. "I’m trapped in a car with two complete psychopaths."
The drive continued for another forty minutes. They left the city limits behind, driving deep into the wealthy, secluded suburbs surrounded by dense, towering forests.
Finally, the Mercedes slowed down.
They approached a pair of massive, wrought-iron gates. Two heavily armed guards in black suits stood outside a bulletproof security booth. The girl rolled down her window. The guards immediately recognized her face. They nodded respectfully and buzzed the heavy gates open.
The car rolled up a long, sweeping driveway lined with perfectly manicured hedges and expensive stone statues.
At the end of the driveway sat a sprawling, ultra-modern mansion. It looked like a fortress made of solid concrete and dark, reflective glass.
The girl parked the car near the grand, illuminated entrance.
"We’re here," she said, popping her door open. "Get out."
Rick and Rachel stepped out of the Mercedes. The night air was crisp and quiet out here.
The front doors of the mansion immediately swung open. Four maids dressed in crisp, black-and-white uniforms rushed down the stone steps. They moved with silent, military precision.
Two maids approached Rick and Rachel. They handed them warm, wet, lavender-scented towels.
Rick took the towel and casually wiped the dried blood and plaster soot off his face and hands. Rachel nervously cleaned the dust off her bare arms and her ruined emerald dress, trying to maintain some dignity.
The other two maids approached the blonde leader. They carefully took her submachine gun and helped unbuckle her heavy tactical vest, carrying them away like they were normal winter coats.
Underneath the heavy vest, the girl was wearing a skin-tight, black leather tank top. Her massive breasts strained aggressively against the thin material. Her hard nipples were clearly visible, poking through the tight leather.
She reached into the pocket of her pants and pulled out the stolen diamond and sapphire necklace.
Without missing a beat, she fastened the heavy jewelry around her own neck. The massive, glittering sapphire pendant slid down, resting perfectly in the deep, sweaty canyon of her heavy cleavage.
Rick openly stared at her chest. He stepped much closer to her, closing the distance.
"That necklace looks a lot better on you than it did on that old hag at the restaurant," Rick commented smoothly, his eyes fixed on her cleavage. "But to be honest, I think it would look even better lying on the floor next to my bed."
The girl turned to face him. She caught him staring directly at her tits. She didn’t try to cover up. Instead, she pushed her chest out slightly, a proud, highly amused smirk on her face.
"Down, boy," she teased. She reached out and tapped his chest with a single, sharp manicured finger. "You haven’t earned the right to unhook this yet. It costs more than your life."
"Give me ten minutes in a locked room," Rick challenged, his voice dropping low and raspy. "I’ll earn a lot more than that. I’ll have you begging me to take it off."
Rachel rolled her eyes so hard they almost got stuck in the back of her head. "Can we please focus? I was kidnapped from a restaurant. I want to know why we are here."
The girl’s playful demeanor vanished instantly. The teasing was over. She became all business again.
"Follow me," she commanded coldly.
She turned and walked into the mansion. Her hips swayed aggressively, the leather pants pulling tight over her ass cheeks. Rick followed right behind her, thoroughly enjoying the view of her round backside.
They walked through grand, echoing hallways decorated with priceless modern art and marble floors.
Finally, they reached a pair of heavy, soundproof double doors at the end of a long corridor. Two more armed guards stood outside. They opened the doors immediately for the blonde girl.
Rick and Rachel followed her inside.
The room looked like a state-of-the-art intensive care unit. It was blindingly white and smelled strongly of sterile antiseptic and bleach. Medical monitors beeped rhythmically in the quiet room. IV bags hung from metal poles, dripping clear fluids.
In the center of the massive room was a highly advanced medical bed.
An old man lay on the mattress. He was connected to a dozen different plastic tubes and wires. A mechanical ventilator pumped air into his failing lungs. His skin was pale, wrinkled, and paper-thin. He looked frail, broken, and incredibly close to death.
Rick stepped closer to the foot of the bed.
He squinted, looking at the old man’s sunken face.
Suddenly, Rick’s blood ran ice cold. His heart skipped a beat in his chest. The cocky, arrogant smirk completely vanished from his lips.
He knew that face. He had seen it in the files. He had just stolen a priceless precursor core from this man’s mountain vault in the Alps. He had fought this man’s elite assassins.
Rick stood perfectly still. His mind raced at a million miles an hour. He had just been kidnapped and dragged directly into the absolute center of his worst enemy’s stronghold. And he had walked in willingly, making dick jokes the entire way.
The blonde girl walked over to the side of the bed. She looked down at the dying old man. The playful, dominant smirk on her face was completely gone, replaced by a look of cold, hard determination.
She turned her head and looked directly at Rick and Rachel.
"Doctor Williams," the girl said, her voice echoing in the sterile room. "I need you to fix him. I need you to keep him alive by any means necessary."
She gently placed her hand on the dying old man’s fragile shoulder.
"Meet my father," she said, her blue eyes piercing. "Silas Warner."
