(Author’s POV)

Aamon was still not in his right senses. He was deeply engrossed in self-pity and ache. Meanwhile, Ramiel continued, "You went to the mortal world after her. You used your powers for her schemes. Even used the quincentennial aconitum and burnt your own demon core to disrupt the human realm and take away innocent lives. You misused the sacred inferno of hell for your impure motives. You coveted my throne. You chose to betray me and the entire hell for that dirty little thing. You have committed heinous crimes and broken the rules of hell. Now... you will have to face the consequences of your actions."

Aamon immediately stopped whatever he was doing, his attention now on the king, his eyes red and bulging out, as Ramiel delivered his final verdict. "I, Ramiel, the King of Hell, hereby announce that all the rights and powers bestowed on Lord Aamon by me are being revoked, effective immediately. He will no longer hold the title of Marquis of Hell. He will not serve in hell in any capacity whatsoever. Furthermore, he will be banished to the world of mortals and remain there until the end of time as nothing more than a rabid dog," his voice was filled with resolve and absolute authority, striking his staff on the ground beneath.

"NOO~ ... NO~~~ .... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~~~ ...." As realisation struck upon him, Aamon cried like a wounded animal and started banging his head on the rock made ground, "Your majesty~ .... I was wrong. I know I was wrong. Don’t do this~ .... Please don’t do this to me. I have been your loyal servant since the day you wore that crown. I have been by your side for more than five millennia. If you want to punish me, you can kill me. Just kill me, take my life. But don’t send me to the human world. I beg you~ .... I beg of you." His forehead bled blue.

Ramiel’s face resembled ice; he didn’t react to his pleas, nor did he soften and only said, his voice glacial, "My decision is final, Aamon. This is the price of your crimes. You reap what you sow. You wanted to go to the mortal world; I am giving you just that. Be grateful."

He then got up and commanded, "GUARDS, THROW HIM OUT OF HELL RIGHT NOW AND SEAL THE GATE. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO BE NEAR HIM, OR HELP HIM. IF SOMEONE DOES~" he paused, then his eyes darted towards the people present, "THEY WILL FACE MY WRATH." His warning landed clear as a few of them who were loyal to Aamon backed off immediately with the fear of getting kicked to the curb and sent to the human world.

The guard, obliging to their king’s order, ousted and dragged him out of hell with utter humiliation. As soon as he crossed the gate, his body shifted to that of a gross, bruised and beaten dog as fleas and other small insects festered around him. And just like that, Aamon’s fate was sealed.

"Is she alright? Why did she faint all of a sudden?" Dion asked Elio, though his golden greens remained fixated on Myra.

"Her pulse is normal; she is fine. Given the situation, she had drained her energy and is sleeping now," Elio conveyed, letting out a long breath.

They had taken Myra to Red Stone’s infirmary. As it was nighttime, the whole building was empty; no one was around.

Alaric, Brave and Dion all sighed in relief. Then the room fell into absolute quietude.

For the first time in their lives, they couldn’t look at each other because of what had happened earlier. They all had countless questions swarming their minds. ’How could Myra, a human, have such power and strength to defeat high-tier demons like Aamon and Elisa? How did the time freeze? How did they leave unscathed, when everyone else perished and turned to dust?’

But the most important question that was looming over their heads and prickling their hearts was how could not one, not two, but all of them be her destined mates? In the ancient history of the werewolves, there was no record of a werewolf being destined mate with a human. So, how could they wrap their heads around this topic? That she was mated to them all.

They wanted an explanation; they wanted answers, but no one was ready to address the elephant in the room.

Five minutes passed by ... still no one uttered a single word. The silence was suffocating the room now. Alaric decided to break the ice as he said, "Whatever happened tonight, let’s keep this amongst ourselves for now. Elisa was one of Jacob’s assistants. And that Aamon, he was pretending to be one of the students in Red Stone. Someone from the vampire clan must have a hand in this."

Brave nodded, "You are right. Although Jacob’s involvement is highly unlikely. But we can’t take any chances. Myra’s life was in danger, and so was ours."

Banging his fist on the wall, Dion said with gritted teeth, "Once I find out who her accomplice is, I swear they will not live another day. They dared to touch my mate. I will rip them to shreds and not leave them with a single organ intact."

Hearing him call Myra his mate, the room fell into another episode of profound quietness.

Dion bit his lower lip, then decided to finally ask, "Since when did you all get to know that~ ...." His voice trailed. He let out a heavy breath, then finished his words, "That Myra was ... your mate."

Brave was the first to answer the question, "Maybe~ ... a year ago, when Rave woke up. Though I never got the chance to confirm it. When did you get to know?"

Recalling the time, Dion licked his lips, then answered truthfully, "On the night of Nor and Eli’s birthday. Eli, what about you?"

"I~ ...." Elio hesitated~ .... his eyes flickered, "A few days ago, when we went to the Miracles for dinner." He remembered how flustered and rattled Myra was when he called her his mate. Now he knew why she was not accepting him.

Now all three pairs of eyes turned to look at Alaric, waiting for him to speak.
