Me, Hydra

I, Hydra, chapter 1.

I, Hydra, by Lord House Lee.

Become the undersea, bah, Hydra of Greek mythology.

Do we have to sit back and watch Perseus kill his siblings, the three Gorgon sisters, just like in mythology? To sit back and watch Hercules complete the Twelve Trials and then save the theocratic government of Olympus? Sitting back and watching Zeus wreak havoc on the earth?

No, the answer is denial.

When Spartan warriors bore the elephant emblem of the Hydra on their round shields, when Thor came to Greece to hone his martial skills, when Quintus and Leonidas defended the Hot Gates, when Carna and Cuchulain fought to the death, then a new theocracy rose.

Then a new theocracy rises.

Volume 1: Text-1-I, Hydra.

The Hydra, Hydra, is said to be immortal and immortal, but of course, the ability to be immortal only exists in the middle head, while the other heads, once cut off, regenerate two brand new heads in the same place. In Greek mythology, Hydra Hydra was eventually defeated by Hercules, and his other heads were cut off one by one, the wounds unable to grow again because they were scorched by the fire of the gods, while the immortal, middle head was also crushed by Hercules with a large stone, never to be turned over....

Hydra's habitat in mythology was the Gulf of Argos, and it was in the Gulf of Argos that Hercules himself suppressed the unstoppable Hydra.

But now, the place where Hydra appears is the Aegean Sea, which is greatly famous in later times....

The Aegean Sea today is not as beautiful as it was in later times, and there are countless sea monsters lurking beneath the murky waters.

Even Hydra's fighting talent, which was inherited from the father of all demons, the Dragon Typhon, is only moderate in this Aegean Sea.

If it wasn't for the help of the shepherd boy who got the lightning scepter and got his tendons back, I'm afraid the Greek mythology would have to be changed.

The dragon Typhon and his wife Ekadena gave birth to many terrible beasts, such as Cerberus the Hellhound, Hapi the Eagle Banshee, Chimera the Griffin the Griffin, the half-lion, half-vulture monster, Otto the Two-Headed Dog, and the Nymian Giant Lion. And our protagonist, the Hydra-Hydra.

Though one, each head has a separate mind as well as magic, and as the middle head, Hydra can enjoy physical dominion, but can't do much to interfere with their thoughts....

Climb to a lonely island in your territory, this island is full of sunshine, those spices from the wreck should be able to continue to eat after drying, but the taste may be a little salty.......

Taking out the already prepared tofu from the barrel and placing it into the surrounding earthenware pots in turn, then subsequently putting in the meat sauce or syrup as they requested, glancing at the bulging bags.

"It's done...eat it..."

After hearing Hydra's words, they cheered, stuck their heads into the pot and started to eat.

Inserting them into the pot....

With a frustrated sigh, Hydra slowed to curl a small spoon with her tail.

"Good thing I'm the noble hot party."

As she did so, Hydra also began the first breakfast of the day.

The reason why Hydra cultivated his own brother's eating human delicacies wasn't just for the sake of appetite, you know, the reason why Hydra was chopped into snake sticks by Hercules in later life was because Hydra was evil and eating humans.

There are many advantages of coming to the Aegean Sea, one is to broaden their horizons, and the other is that the Aegean Sea is not like the original Gulf of Argos, where there is no rival to Hydra.

Hydra's body has nine heads, the body of the main head itself is called Hydra, and the other eight are naturally 2-9 Dra. Hydra's heads all look the same, the only thing that identifies them is the unicorn on the head.

Hydra's unicorn is purple, and the element it represents is also Hydra's toxin later, simply put, Hydra-poison, Little Two-Fire, Little Three-Water, Little Four-Earth, Little Five-Wind, Little Six-Thunder, Little Seven-Space, Little Eight-Darkness, and Little Nine-Light. Of these, Little Three, Little Eight, and Little Nine are female and have no combat abilities, the dark magic skills are basically curses, and the light elements are basically replies and other support skills. Well, and both are firmly in the sweet party...in short, it's a lousy setting that was written badly at some point a decade ago.

The current king of the Greek gods is not yet Zeus, but rather the legendary Oronos, the father of Zeus and the other twelve main gods. Hercules hasn't been born yet, Prometheus hasn't stolen the divine fire, and the dragon Korkis, guardian of the Golden Fleece, is still his own brother....

Now only ten meters long, although not comparable to the North Sea Gargoyle or Yemengard and other such perversions, and from the legendary kind of immeasurable mention there is still a distance, but in this surrounding for a sea area has no one dared to strand their own tiger whiskers.

Just thinking, Xiao Er and the others also finished eating those tofu.

"Big Brother Big Brother, what are we having for dinner?"

Hearing the second's words, Hydra thought briefly.

"Um...steak?"

Hearing Hydra's words, Four acted very excited.

"Long live the steak! Remember to put in more spices! The stronger the taste, the better!"

Hearing Little Four's words Hydra said as you wish.

The magical element would greatly affect one's thinking and daily habits, and Xiao Si's attribute was earth, so he was naturally attracted to foods with a strong taste. Although I don't know what exactly the earth attribute has to do with the heavy taste....

While thinking about it, the third person on the side suddenly said.

"There seems to be an extra monolith there,"

Hearing Kozo's voice, Hydra turned her gaze over.

It was indeed a monolith, a post-apocalyptic kind of tombstone to be precise, but why was the tombstone here? You know, tombstones were something that hadn't been completely popularized in this era, and the only people who could afford to use them now were high priests or nobles and other dignitaries.

They wouldn't personally take the risk of coming to a dangerous place like the Aegean Sea.

With doubts, Hydra came to the tombstone, and what was on it was not ancient Greek script, but latter-day English.

Relying on her half-hearted English, Hydra stumbled over the words, "I...AM...P...PROVIDENCE. ♪ I AM PROVIDENCE?"

Seeing the epitaph in front of him, Hydra seemed to feel like she had heard it somewhere before, for the epitaph had two meanings, one being "I am a Providence man" and the other, "I am a man of destiny."

Was confused. The youngest on the side suddenly said.

"Brother, there's a strange thing on the beach eh..."

Following Sam's gaze, Hydra turned her head one, and the soft golden beach was half covered with the purchase of this plasticized book, which caused Hydra to have a bit of a headache, knowing that in this day and age, paper hadn't even been developed yet, so why would there be a plasticized book?

Pulling the books out of the sand, the English on them was a bit hard for Hydra to read but that was to be expected.

"Well...death...death...The Book of the Dead?"

Tilting her head in confusion, Hydra felt as if she had heard the name of the book from somewhere....

Volume 1: Text-2 - The So-Called God

God Realm, Battlefield.

Looking at his children, Cronos clenched the crown of his teeth.

"You rebels! Do you think you can defeat me with the power of your gods? You're just my kids, not my match!!!"

As he spoke, Cronus raised his earthly authority, a short, scythe-like wand, in his hand. The power of the earth was poured into Cronos' body through Mount Olympus, and the pressure crushed on the six young men beside him, who were half of the twelve Olympian gods of later times.

The current ones were young, but they were already in no way defeated when facing their father.

"Father! It's time for your brutal reign to end! Just like you ended your father's reign, you are rotten!!!"

Although the combined divine power of Zeus and the others were inferior to Kronos, but somehow, Kronos had instead fallen victim to this divine war, Zeus had received an excellent education in the earth in his early years, and relying on his superior wisdom, Zeus had an ample amount of faith in the earth, Kronos' brutal theocracy made the tribe feel intense pressure, and although the development was rapid and the upper orders were effective, the oppression brought about by the extreme notice was not something the people were willing to accept.

Feeling the growing pressure, Cronos' forehead was covered in cold sweat.

"You bunch of...rebels ahhhhhh!"

Two hundred years is a long two centuries for mankind, but for the firstborn species it is only an insignificant fraction of a second.
