Me, Hydra

I, Hydra, chapter 14.

Nodding, Hydra did not deny it.

"Of course, the supreme god-king of the Asa clan, king of the dead, god of war, god of power, god of magic, god of knowledge and the greatest prophet in the Nordic region. Phase II If I remember correctly, the Norse warriors believed that if they were given pinch shelter they would be given the spirit of the bear and the courage of the wolf. On the battlefield, they wore no armor, often clad in bear or wolf skins, and charged with such fury that they could kill their enemies with their bare hands and bite their throats out of them without being hurt themselves in the least. If I remember correctly, you call this type of people Berserkers, right?"

Hearing Hydra's words, Odin didn't deny it. Instead, he spoke somewhat proudly, "They are proud warriors, aren't they? But then again...the forces you have here...seem to be relatively low. Other than you, there doesn't seem to be anyone who can make me worth noticing, except for those northern scents."

Nodding, Hydra didn't deny it.

Although the Nordic mythology was comparable to the Greek mythology in terms of top combat power, but from the middle level of combat power began to be far inferior, from both sides of the god-king alone, Odin could hang Zeus, of course this was not counting Zeus also had another eleven helpers.

There are also the beasts of Norse mythology, such as the North Sea gargoyle, surrounded by the atrium, sleeping in the bottom of the mud bed of Yemengard, gnawing the heart of the world tree Nidhogg, and the most famous, will devour Odin's giant wolf, Fenrir.

Hydra's strength was similar to Odin's, and although also at the top, Hydra, who had partial spatial abilities in her palm, had no problem defending herself.

Shaking his head, Hydra spoke casually.

"More than that, Odin. I'm more curious about your culture or knowledge, and culture is something that only reflects its value when it's exchanged, don't you think?"

"Well...you have a point, but I'm not sure if your knowledge can be traded with me. Of course, this isn't a choreography, it's just the basic principle of trading. Namely, equivalence."

Upon hearing that, Hydra nodded, then stood up and spoke.

"In that case, I will begin by showing my sincerity. The Great Library of Sparta contains all the wisdom of this city-state, and where it is, you will surely be able to get what you want."

"The Library?... Why do you trust me so much?"

There was some confusion in Odin's voice, the first time that Odin, the God of Knowledge, had ever uttered such a tone. But Hydra didn't hold back.

"For no particular reason, I simply have the purest identification with the brave who know that they are facing an irreversible end, but still struggle valiantly."

"...You also know about the Twilight of the Gods!!!"

Odin's voice was suddenly raspy, and though he had foreseen the twilight of the gods, he had definitely never told anyone about it. And the guy in front of him wasn't from his own original world, it was from another world outside the wall, meaning he had only purely foreseen the twilight of the gods! And not by sneaking around and finding out about it!

Nodding, Hydra's voice remained aloof.

"Of course, it's not just your world, I know just as much about other worlds. Including my world. Every myth will come to ruin, and you have chosen to fight valiantly against it, while some of the mythologies have chosen to want to circumvent it through sneaky means."

"What do you mean?"

Odin's voice was a little confused, but Hydra was fine with that, "You have two ravens that have always represented thoughts, called Haki. The other one represents memory and is called Mullin. These two large ravens fly around the world every day and then report to Odin what they see and hear without reservation. Now that this is the only raven representing thought that has appeared before me, it means that the other raven is either beside you or has reached the mountains to the north that you speak of and can pose a threat."

"What's the problem?"

Nodding, Hydra said matter-of-factly.

"It's called Olympus Sanctus, and it's the theocratic government of Zeus. Despising ethics, the first two god-kings were overthrown by their own children, including download this. The ancient sky god of this world had made a prophecy that Zeus would be overthrown by the husband of his own child. And Zeus, out of fear, took that child into his bed..."

"It's..."

Odin's voice was hesitant, but Hydra didn't care.

"The other raven should have reached Olympus as well, whether it is or isn't I'm sure you as a god can find out for yourself with the naked eye. I won't go into too much detail. Let's go and take a look at the Great Library of Sparta, it has taken me fifty years to build this great library."

As she said that, Hydra stood up and opened the doors of the temple.

Once again, the elite Spartan guards made Odin grow a mouthful.

"I believe there is knowledge here that I wish to acquire, however. Hydra, may I ask what you want from me?"

"The original Rune of Loon,"

........

There are many legends about the overthrow of Zeus' reign, including the child of Tethys, the goddess of the sea, but according to the legend, Prometheus eventually divulged the story, resulting in no god willing to mate with the goddess of the sea, who eventually had no choice but to marry a human king, and that child was named Achilles.

There's a lot more to it than that, and in short everything is one book mainly. After all, Greek mythology is, in a word, a history of great incest.

Volume 1: Text-20 - Book of the Dead, AC Life

The Great Library of Sparta, an oversized library that Hydra had gone through fifty years of building up, had two underground levels in addition to the surface level above ground. Books of all kinds of thought, education and even books on agriculture and mulberry and the like were searched, even books on materialism.

The God Crow stood over Hydra's shoulder, the doors of the Great Library of Sparta were six meters high, this was designed so that Hydra could come and go as she pleased. It had taken fifty years to build, but it was actually quite short. Because Sparta's library alone had a floor space of 100,000 square meters. This was undoubtedly a fantasy for the ancient world. But with the help of the beasts, especially with the ability to petrify Medusa among the three Gorgon sisters, consuming only fifty years was simply considered a miracle.

"This is magnificent architecture, Hydra, you are more suited to the name of God of Knowledge than I. You are worthy of the name of the Sage to build such magnificent structures for books instead of temples."

Hearing Odin's words, Hydra inaudibly wiped away the cold sweat that flowed from her head due to her guilty conscience. (If snakes had sweat glands.)

In fact, Hydra built the Great Library partly to spread knowledge and partly to strengthen influence. One of the mythical representations of the decline of Zeus' power was the destruction of the largest indoor statue in the world, the statue of Zeus.

The existence of a great library would not only expand influence, but more importantly, it would provide Sparta with a steady stream of knowledgeable people, as well. Attract the wise men there in Athens!

Shaking her head, Hydra turned her gaze to the god-crow standing over her shoulder.

"Without the slightest hint of weakness, I believe this place holds the most expansive knowledge in the world. I will trade all the knowledge in this library to you in exchange for the original Rune of Lune."

"........"

Odin seemed hesitant, but Hydra didn't care. For now Odin didn't really know the inner mysteries of this library yet.

"There is no need to hesitate, Odin, you can read all the knowledge in this library, and if you think it's worth paying for the original Rune of Lune, it's not too late for you to give the Rune to me before you do so."

Hearing Hydra's words, Odin nodded as if he had made up his mind about something.

"No. Since you have given me this trust, I should rightly return it to you with an equal amount of newcomers. After taking me through all the knowledge I have observed, I will teach you all the Runes of Lune with you."

Upon hearing this, Hydra nodded and then said.

"Then read to your heart's content! Whether it's a parchment or a paperback. You can read it all at your leisure! Including, the book that was deeply sealed by me."

"The sealed book?"

"That book is on the third underground level, this is my token, with this you can pass through the second level unhindered. But I advise you to just look at the surface of the Book of the Dead, it will do you no good to delve into the inner workings. That is forbidden knowledge."

The second subterranean level was practically sealed off, filled with far-reaching demons scavenged by Hydra, who would pounce without depression should anyone invade it. And it was filled with Hydra's Head of Space in there, without Hydra's token, namely a poisonous tooth. Absolutely no one could leave there alive.

Swallowing, Odin pondered for a moment, his thirst for knowledge still prevailing.

"I sure still can't deny the attraction of knowledge to me."

Hearing Odin's words, Hydra nodded her head.

"Since you're already prepared, I won't stop you much. But for the sake of safety, I'll go with you."

"Thank you for your understanding."

As they said that, the crowd arrived at the second underground level.

"Yo~ Brother, you came to see us~~"
