Me, Hydra

I, Hydra, chapter 23.

As she spoke, Atalanta carefully watched Heracles in front of her, though she didn't see it, her sixth sense from living in the wild for years constantly no longer told him that the unkempt man in front of her was a great threat to her.

Shaking his head helplessly, because of the burning of the immortal divinity, Hercules now felt his muscles wailing even in his station. Looking at Atalanta holding a bow and arrow that seemed as if it could be shot at any moment, Hercules said evenly, "Wait a minute, I'm Hercules who came to complete the Twelve Trials, I was on my way to the eastern side of the mountain range to crusade against the fierce lions that banished Nymeria, but Hydra sent a fellow named Raze to obstruct me. I was teleported here by him in the middle of a solo fight. Believe me, the gods can vouch for me!"

Upon hearing that, Atalanta suspiciously looked twice at Hercules in front of her, indeed. Now Hercules' body was filled with the scorched blackness of having been bombarded by the Rune of Thunder, and judging by the injuries on his body it should have been a battle as well, if nothing else. Plus, there were three places where the Nemean Fierce Lion was wreaking havoc. Namely, Tritos, Apisas, and Nimia were all three places that were victimized by it. Atalanta knew because she had hunted in the eastern side of the Arcadia Mountains, so Atalanta would remember the habits of the Nemean Fierce Lion for her own hunting as well as her nightly lodging.

But that didn't mean that others would know as well. Coupled with Hercules' wounds and meager divinity, Atalanta temporarily trusted Hercules' words....

Shaking her head sadly, Atalanta straddled her bow and arrow on her waist and quickly came to Hercules' side from the trees not far away.

In the meantime, this caused Atalanta to faintly examine him.

"What madness have you committed? Are you that badly hurt? More than half of the ribs were broken, and two more were lodged in the lungs. The Nemean fierce lion was so strong that it was hard to hurt with a sword. And he's using his own family members. I really don't understand why you have to undergo the so-called Twelve Trials."

At the news, Hercules laughed helplessly twice, but didn't regret it too much.

"It wasn't caused by the Nemean Fierce Lion, it was that guy named Raze that Hydra sent over... that guy is a really nice guy..."

As he said that, Hercules shook his head somewhat sorrowfully.

"Don't worry, I have an immortal divinity that surpasses that of ordinary demigods, and this injury is expected to heal in three or four days."

Upon hearing that, Atalanta scornfully left her mouth.

"Don't joke about it, first of all, you and I are nothing more than a dip in the ocean, the reason I noticed you is because you broke into my hunting ground. It's none of my business if you're dead or not, and if you are, you might even be used as bait. Besides, it'll take at least half a month to get from here to the Nemean lion's den. You'd better give up on that idea."

As she said that, Atalanta took out an apple from her belt and threw it at Hercules, but the good death was right on Hercules' chest. This caused Hercules, who was already tense, to faint directly after screaming.

Atalanta: "..."

There was a wilderness all around them, and from time to time there would be beasts passing by, having the divine Hercules was a great tonic for them.

"Che, obviously a man is still fragile,"

As she did, Atalanta carried Hercules, who had fainted on the ground, to her makeshift lair.

Atalanta was born in Arcadia, nature's paradise, and was a princess of Arcadia. But instead of being loved by her father who wanted a son, she was abandoned in the forests of the great mountains of Arcadia.

This was a bit too much for the Nymph fairies who patrolled the night with the moon goddess Artemis, so one of the Nymph fairies secretly nursed her with the milk of a she-bear. It was because of this kindness, Atalanta did not abandon Hercules, after all, he also had the divine ability, since he could not directly thank the nymph fairy who had saved him, he could only seek the fairy indirectly like this.

Taking a look at Hercules, who had fallen into a deep sleep, Atalanta Moomin multiple felt her heart throb a bit.

So this is what a man looks like ah....

As she thought, Atalanta turned her head slightly sideways.

"I hope that you who have completed the Twelve Trials will find my benefactor, no matter what, only this kindness cannot be denied..."

Talking to herself, Atalanta took a look at the sky, which was already growing dim.

The moon was about to rise, and Artemis was about to patrol the night sky in the Moon's vehicle. Despite having divine shielding, the keen Atalanta could still feel it.

It had been a long time since the Nymph Fairy who had saved herself had appeared at Artemis' side. Obviously in the beginning, whenever and wherever that fairy was, she was always by Artemis' side, driving for Artemis even when she was patrolling the night sky. But now, it seemed that a different person had been replaced....

As she thought, Atalanta clenched her fists together.

"May you always be happy, my benefactor..."

........

Well, I have another book this week, "The Outlaw's Infinity" is going to hit the shelves, and it's going to explode six shifts, so it's going to be a day off when the book hits the shelves ~.

Waking up from his slumber, he was greeted by a mountain wall that was unfamiliar to Hercules.

The unfamiliar surroundings caused Hercules' spirit to tense up in an instant, but what followed was physical pain.

"Hiss... ah..."

Called out twice, which caused Atalanta, who was on the other side, to cast her eyes over.

"Be careful, your wounds aren't healed yet, but you should be able to get off the ground in the morning."

At the sound of the voice, Hercules followed the sound of the voice and looked over at Atalanta.

On the side of the campfire, Atalanta was holding a piece of midget made of bone to trim her own toenails, toenails that were too long would affect the hunting that she fought, although it was for a more convenient survival, but over time Atalanta's craftsmanship also became more and more exquisite, if nothing else to open a nail salon in a place inhabited by humans should have a good profit.

"How about it, does it look good~"

As she spoke, Atalanta stretched her little feet towards the campfire in front of her, and though it was a question, there was no tone in Atalanta's words that a question should have, it was as plain as a glass of water, but Hercules nodded his head out of courtesy.

"Nice, nice."

Well, Hercules sounded as if Lee was being nice.

The dry exchange soon returned to a moment of silence, and all that was left in the not-so-wide cavern was the crackling of a campfire burning wood and the grinding of nails that could not be heard without listening closely.

Just when Hercules wanted to break this silence, Atalanta on the other side suddenly said, "Do you still want the eastern side of the Arcadia Mountains? You didn't encounter the family members of the Nemean Fierce Lion the last time you visited, but that's not necessarily true this time."

"...Can you explain to me a little bit?"

Nodding her head, Atalanta placed the small midget in her hand into the animal skin bag on the side.

"The family of the Nemean Fierce Lion is called the Scorpion Lion, similarly, the Nemean Fierce Lion has two states, one is the normal state, and only its strength is considered a threat besides its blade-proof skin. However, in the Scorpion Lion state, the Nemean Lion will have sharp scales on its body, membrane wings on its back, and highly poisonous barbs on its tail like a scorpion. What's more, not only his tail, but his claws and teeth and even the fluids he secretes will all be highly poisonous."

"What's more, his brother is the Hydra that is entrenched in the Aegean Sea, and isn't the Raze you're talking about sent by Hydra? Don't forget, Hydra was an existence that even the gods feared. One of the Twelve Lord Gods, Athena, the companion artifact in his hand, the Shield of Bronze Mirror, has all been taken away by Hydra... and Perseus, think of his miserable appearance..."

As she said that, Atalanta brought down the small pot that was set on the campfire, and the somewhat murky broth gave off the aroma of someone in the cavern, which made Hercules' stomach, who had been unconscious for a day and night, cry out.

A quick glance at the somewhat embarrassed Hercules in front of him caused a narrow smile to rise on Atalanta's face.

"I didn't expect a great hero's stomach to make such a sound~"

As she spoke, Atalanta served herself a bowl of broth in a wooden bowl and pushed the pot in front of Heracles.

At Hercules' somewhat surprised look, Atalanta shrugged her shoulders.

"There's only one Mewan here, do you want a lady rudely holding a pot of soup?"

At the news, Hercules scratched his head in embarrassment.

"I didn't mean that, I just..."

"If you're going to eat, eat quickly and keep your mouth shut."

"Oh..."
