Me, Hydra

I, Hydra, chapter 73.

"Fight! Let's fight! We've told you so many times...and now, here's our chance! War is coming! The fires of war will burn all over Greece! Tell me! Residents of Sparta! What you guys need!!!"

"War! Victory! Beautiful wine! Burn the temples of Athens to glass!!!"

Hearing the cheers of the military and civilians, a smile rose on Leonidas' face, and though it was a smile, the exhilaration of it was already evident.

"We will war! We will be victorious! Let's drink to it! The glass that will hold the wine will be the burned glass of the pillar stones in the Greek temples!!!"

"War goes with us, come, sons of Sparta! Let the fires of war burn the ignorance and untamedness of the Athenians!!!"

"All hands on deck!!!"

"Oh!!!"

At Leonidas' words, the Spartan warriors echoed in unison, turning and stomping their feet. In unison as if one man had copied and pasted hundreds of times.

Riding his sturdy horse, Quintus looked over at Callisto in the crowd.

Nodding to each other, Quintus clipped his horse's belly to keep up with Leonidas, who was walking ahead of him.

"Aunt is all right."

Nodding, Quintus's lips smiled angrily.

"All right, I'm sure I have Atalanta with me... Wait! Where the hell is she?!"

"In my girl squad~"

On the other side Hippolyta shrugged her shoulders easily.

"She's the one who asked for it and asked me not to tell you...and you're not going to stop her...you should understand his admiration for your mother. This isn't just revenge that belongs to you..."

After a moment of silence, Quintus shrugged his shoulders.

"It doesn't matter, no one should be able to hurt her on the battlefield anyway, given the strength of her old sister."

Nodding, Leonidas on the other hand looked in the direction of the Athenian army station, the Salamis peninsula that connected the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland.

"We will be victorious."

"You're talking nonsense."

Volume 1: Text-98.Garrisoning

Stepping into the depressing autumn breeze, Sparta's army moved swiftly forward.

"Relying on our current rate of travel, we should be able to reach our destination in about a day's time."

As he said that, Leonidas used the telescope in his hand to look around.

This kind of telescope was simple to make, using crystal or glass to create a copy of concave and convex mirrors and then slightly combining them would be successful.

But the telescope at this stage could only be owned by those at the level of officers within the Spartan army or the special scout troops. After all, the military significance of this telescope was too great anyway.

"After a day of marching, the generals should be exhausted as well. There is the village ahead, let's set up camp there today."

Upon hearing that, Quintus nodded his head. Although Quintus was vengeful, it didn't mean that Quintus was a brainless reckless man, at least Quintus knew that with his current strength, he couldn't do ten thousand troops from which to take the enemy general's head.

Upon hearing that, Quintus also took out his binoculars and looked around.

There was indeed a village in the front, and it was surrounded by plains and relied closely on a river.

"If we're stationed... this is indeed a good choice, right here. Even the horses are probably tired after a day of walking."

Upon hearing that, Leonidas nodded. Then summoned the order.

"Speed up the march. The village ahead is the camp. All acts of looting and violence are forbidden. Teams one to three prepare food, teams four and five prepare tents, and the rest of the teams prepare all other matters."

As he spoke, Leonidas clamped his horse's belly, and the entire army marched faster under his leadership.

"But then again, if you want to go to the front line, just tell me directly, there's no need to cover up..."

As he said that, Quintus looked helplessly at Atalanta, who was following along on her horse.

And upon hearing Quintus' words, Atalanta was indifferent.

"Well, I don't need you to worry about my business."

Helplessly shook his head, although Quintus was fierce to outsiders, but there was no way at all to face this sister, even Atalanta's exclusion of Quintus in front of Callisto when Callisto only said a few words symbolically. And when Atalanta was spoiled, the fault became Quintus'....

Poor sons and rich daughters, this sort of thing is quite common in the Quintus household though....

While chatting, the people had arrived at the target camp.

This was considered a large village, but the word "large" in this large village was large at this time, in fact, it was only about a hundred families at full count.

Sparta's army consisted of 50,000 people.

As soon as we approached the village, an old man was already standing at the entrance of the village where he was waiting for the Spartan army.

"Generals, we are in the village of Zako, and I am the village chief here. This is food that we have for you generals, and we hope that you will not be put off."

Upon hearing this, Leonidas nodded. He rolled over and dismounted to the old man.

"How far is this from Salamis Island?"

"It'll take two or three days for a normal person to walk, but if the General speeds up, he should be able to get there in a day tomorrow."

At the news, Leonidas nodded.

"All troops at your command! Just take camp!"

As he said that, Leonidas would place his eyes on the old village chief.

"We'll take the food, but don't worry, we're all Hydra's people, we won't kidnap you, once someone commits an act of violence you can report it to me and I will punish you severely."
