Me, Hydra

I, Hydra, chapter 140.

When Varian was young, the humans were at their weakest, and the Seven Kingdoms of Humanity did not have an alliance at that time. Faced with the sudden appearance of orcs in the Great Gobi of the Serpent, the humans were almost flattened all the way by the orcs. Afterwards, the leaders of the seven countries reached a consensus: if the Orcs were not stopped, they would eventually conquer the whole human race. So these seven countries united to form the Lodoren Alliance. After a grueling battle, the alliance finally defeated the Horde, the Orcs were mostly taken prisoner, and Stormwind was rebuilt. Varian married the beautiful Tiffin Arian and raised a son, whom he named Anduin Urien in honor of the great Alliance hero Anduin Lothar.

Looking at the young woman standing before him, Varian frowned.

"Who are you?"

At the news, before Jeanne replied, the soldier on the other side quickly said, "Reporting to the king, this woman has nothing that can identify her, I suspect that he is a spy sent by another race."

Hearing the soldier's words, Varian frowned. Although it was only the first time that he had met her, the young woman in front of him had a spring-like feeling flowing through her.

And being the most powerful warrior of the human race, Valiant's intuition also told Valiant. The young girl in front of him was not a bad person.

"Where do you come from?"

Hearing Varian's words, Jeanne nodded her head, then then quickly said, "I'm not from this world, I'm from another world. It was the Prophet who came here on a mission regarding me."

"The other world?"

Frowning, Varian nodded in seeming realization after a moment's thought.

Then he turned his gaze to Jeanne, who had looked serious years ago, and asked, "And what else did that so-called prophet you spoke of say?"

Thinking back to what Hydra had said about the Chinese, Jeanne quickly replied, "The Prophet said: "The dark green fire will descend upon this world, minds distorted, empires crumbling. The centaurs possessed by the evil fire will be covered in flesh and blood on their hooves. The entire continent will then become a cloud of ashes..."

At the words, Varian's eyes instantly glazed over, and even his hand had subconsciously rested on the hilt of the Salamaini-Superior Elven Sword at his side.

But even then, Jeanne's eyes did not change in the slightest. The clarity of the single, determined gaze was incomparably clear, which was somewhat familiar to Varian.

Wasn't this the same look that he had when he became the Alliance King!

After a moment of silence, Varian's bright hand moved away from the plus ice, a smile rising on Varian's lips as he looked at what was in front of him as the real thing.

It had to be said that Varian really wasn't suited to smiling, a scar across the bridge of his nose on his stereotypical, hard face, and although it was a smile, it looked like a sneering threat...

"I trust you, maiden."

Varian's words surprised Jeanne more than hesitation.

"Why? I don't have any so-called identity proof ah."

Hearing Jeanne's reply, Varian nodded in understanding.

"The eyes are the mind and the window, I like your eyes a lot. I'm sure that someone who can use that kind of eyes is not a gutter rat. Isn't that right?"

As he spoke, Varian motioned for the guard on the side to bring another horse.

"Come, let's go inside and talk more about the prophecy of the prophet you speak of."

........

I made a cup of milk coffee last night, but somehow became more sleepy after drinking it, and this morning I actually woke up at 7:00 a.m., but my head is up and hurting. And my stomach is not feeling well. Feeling hot while my hands and feet are cold and sweaty....

I'll try to code out a chapter in the evening....

(Feels like my joints have been removed all over again...)

Sitting on the throne, Varian listened quietly to Jeanne's complaint.

"In other words, that green flame was originally an evil god before this world recovered, right?"

Upon hearing that, Jeanne nodded quickly.

"According to the Prophet, the original form of that flame is called Loki, a fire god before this world underwent reincarnation. At the twilight of the gods Loki used small means to escape the catastrophe. The revived him will seduce the Fallen and then destroy this world."

Upon hearing the words, Varian nodded slightly thoughtfully.

And after hearing Jeanne's complaint in, the surrounding Varian's close aides also began to communicate in a whisper.

In these exchanges, Jeanne could hear voices of approval and doubts.

But despite this, Jeanne's eyes remained the same as they were in the beginning.

It was firm and pure.

With a smile rising to his lips, Varian stood up and walked over to Jeanne's face.

"Although there are still many doubts about you, I choose to believe your eyes!"

Hearing the words of Varian and so on, the surrounding Varian's cronies stopped their discussion. At that moment, Varian's child, Anduin, who had mastered the Holy Light and Shadow, stepped forward.

"Father, if what the real lady said is true, then it is necessary for us to contact the other races on the continent. We don't know anything about the power of the evil god, but just from the way it instantly bestowed great power on the Centaur tribe leader Brandwalden, that evil god named Loki is afraid that he won't do anything because he's afraid of something. That's why we can try to get Dalaran's mages to detect the Centaur Tribe's hideouts through magic."

Hearing Anduin's words Varian nodded his head.

"It is better to trust such things and the disappearance of the Centaur Tribe is suspicious. Anduin, you take this messenger to invite the Orcs, the Night Elves, and the Naga to come here for a chat. If what Miss Jeanne says is true, then all the races on Azeroth must put aside their preconceptions to face the Evil Loki together."

Hearing Varian's order, Anduin nodded, then cleanly turned and headed out of the palace to gather a group of emissaries.

Eye Anduin left, Varian thought for a moment after a serious said: "This is a matter of great importance, from which now on, the storm city into a state of alert, strengthen the security, the existence of the evil god Loki we do not have the slightest understanding of the other races of the messenger group before we must not let the news leak out!"

Upon hearing that, all the surrounding ministers all bowed their heads and said yes.

The upper level of the megalodon more or less affected the residents of the lower level, and this was no exception when placed in Stormwind City.

Between the streets, the inhabitants of Stormwind City hearkened back to the fact that there were beginning to be more guards around, and when they saw someone slightly unfamiliar, they would simply walk up to them and ask for proof of identity.

It was because of this unnatural vigilance that Stormwind City was a bit stormy for a while.

But the good news was that although Varian was a warrior, he was not a fool. After hearing the rumors among the city, he quickly sent out an official notice explaining the original cause of the matter.

And after understanding the true cause of things, the emotions of the residents of Stormwind City also tended to stabilize.

For no other reason, Varian's reputation in the entire Azeroth continent was just too high. With his father being assassinated by Fallen by Heat, the entire human race was in an extremely dangerous situation. And at this time, Varian stepped forward and hardened the orcs to drive back to the Great Gobi outside of the fortress, and what's more, Varian wasn't overwhelmed by the revenge of killing his father, but rebuilt the border city-state of Stormwind on the borderline between the Great Gobi and the interior. From this point alone is enough to convince people to admire.

And the Varian's reputation was not only its widespread within the human race, after hearing Anduin's words, other racial tribes were quick to react.

The first to come was still Sal, whose hometown was less than ten kilometers outside of Stormwind in the Great Gobi, and relying on the strong feet of the Frostwolf clan, he was quick to react.

"Is the evil god Loki that Anduin talks about real? But why hadn't I ever heard of Loki's name before this?"

At the words, Varian pointed to Jeanne next to him.

"It would be better to let this otherworldly visitor explain that."

Hearing Varian's Warian, Sal turned his gaze to Jeanne who was standing beside him.

It had to be said that between Sal and Varian, Jeanne's height was indeed a bit awkward.
