"We don’t have much time, I’ll cover you, you rush across!"

Karl whispered to Mike after giving an order, then knelt on one knee.

Mike pushed aside the branches blocking his path and ran forward quickly.

Every time Karl Stemonsen spotted a threatening target, he would shoot immediately.

The sound of a shot different from the .223 caliber rang out. Karl quickly aimed his gun at the source of the gunfire, but the shooter was hidden in the shadows, and he couldn’t see where the shooter was hiding.

Another shot rang out, and Karl saw the muzzle flash, so he instantly fired three short bursts, nine bullets in total, towards the shooter’s location.

If something is beyond human capability, Karl can’t do it either. But if it’s within human power, then Karl and Mike will definitely accomplish it.

Even if there were twelve interceptors, so what? To Karl, thinking a mere twelve people could stop them was a pipe dream.

Mike charged forward until he reached the brightly lit mall area.

As Mike arrived at a spot where he could engage the enemy at close range, Karl stood up and charged forward.

It was already late, the mall had closed, but the gas station, restaurant, and café next to it were still open.

Under Mike’s cover, Karl dashed to Mike’s side. Mike made several hand gestures, indicating there were still eight enemies left.

Mike had already switched to an M4. Karl hadn’t noticed when he switched weapons, but replacing the MP5 and Shotgun in Mike’s hands with an M4 was undoubtedly excellent.

"It’s SWAT!"

SWAT is a powerful police unit, but Houston’s SWAT is not known for its reputation. Even those renowned SWAT teams wouldn’t concern Karl and Mike.

There’s no opponent in this world that can intimidate the Naval Tactics Research Group Red Team.

There were eight people left, divided into two groups hiding together.

Few does not mean weak, and many does not necessarily mean strong.

The two of them covered each other, advancing step by step, and finally engaged in close combat with the SWAT team members, quickly eliminating them.

Aside from Grand Ivan, Karl had no intention of becoming enemies with anyone, especially soldiers or police who also served to protect this country. But when it came down to life or death, the enemy was naturally the enemy.

It wasn’t that Karl and Mike were ruthless, but they had to ensure no enemy remained on their escape route.

After years of training, leaving no room for mercy had become instinctual for Karl and the others. When fighting for the country, they were America’s sharpest Dagger. If they became America’s enemy, they were thorns against America.

Without any emotion, Mike coldly said after shooting a SWAT officer in the neck at close range, "I didn’t want this either, but I have no choice. Blame the politicians who sent you here."

"Stop the nonsense, take Roy and the others and leave from here."

The path was open; it was time to continue escaping, but Mike shouted urgently, "Should we take a car?"

"We won’t get far, the car will just be an easy target for the helicopter."

"Captain, look over here."

Karl looked in the direction Mike pointed, and saw a row of motorcycles outside the bar entrance, causing him to laugh heartily.

"Motorcycles, nice."

"It’s the Thugs, they were meeting in the bar, and they haven’t come out since the gunfight started."

"Motorcycles are a good choice, go borrow two, I’ll cover the entrance."

Mike quickly ran towards the bar and rushed inside.

Everyone had found suitable hiding places outside due to the gunfight, so when Mike rushed in, no one inside the bar was standing.

"Gentlemen, I need to borrow two motorcycles, you, you, please hand over your motorcycle keys to me, thank you."

The Thugs are the second-largest motorcycle gang in America, with gang-like inclinations, originating in Texas. The Thugs’ members are easy to identify—wearing leather jackets, covered in tattoos, looking fierce. Official members have tattoos that only official members possess.

The so-called borrowing was a more refined way of saying it. After Mike fired two shots, aimed at the members of the Thugs, he quickly acquired two motorcycles.

Running out of the Joy Bar, Mike threw a set of keys to Karl with great excitement, saying, "I dreamed of buying a Harley when I was a kid, but of course, I couldn’t afford it. Now I feel great."

Karl pressed the key, then walked to the motorcycle with flashing lights, started it, and said in a deep voice, "Then hurry up and realize your dream, you haven’t even gotten on it yet."

"You’ve seen Terminator 2, have you seen Hell Ride? Ghost Rider?"

Karl stopped talking, turned around, and rode towards Roy and Prince.

Mike followed closely behind Karl, shouting loudly, "Cool! Captain, have you seen Easy Rider? That’s the best movie!"

Riding a motorcycle over obstacles, through the woods, Karl stopped directly next to Roy and Prince, then shouted, "How are you, guys."

"Still alive."

"And not bad."

Karl exhaled slightly, then said in a deep voice, "Get on the bikes, let’s go."

The motorcycles roared twice, then charged into the woods, Karl shouting, "Hold on tight!"

The motorcycles rushed out of the woods, onto the road, as police cars zoomed after them after Roy and Prince stopped suppressing, and a helicopter above locked onto them with a spotlight.

"Brothers, if we must die, then this is not a bad way to go, yahoo!"

As he swept past Karl, Mike shouted, "Captain, wanna race? Eat dust, ha ha!"

Mike had never been so brazen with his captain in his life, but now, well, his captain wouldn’t have a chance to scold him later.

Karl smiled slightly. If death was inevitable, why not have a blast with his brothers? They had been in the Red Team for many years, when did they ever have such a moment of freedom?

"Bring it on!"

Karl suddenly twisted the throttle, catching up to Mike from the side, the speed was already high, only the wind’s roar could be heard, but Karl still shouted, "You’re the one who’s gonna eat dust!"

Mike laughed heartily, shouting, "I won’t die in a car crash!"
