Middle-aged Adventurer Kein’s Good Deed

29. Kuko Village Festival

On that day, a small harvest festival was taking place in the village of Kuko.

In the village square, the whole grill of the big bear smells delicious.

Several stalls are out and the villagers are behaved with all the food and drinks free of charge.

One of the flirtatious stopovers cheerfully rattles the lute and poops the bug pipe.

He showed the great trick of turning around with clowns dancing to music throwing balls, boiling the children of the village watching greatly.

There, Kane came from the city of Ern.

"Oh, you have a guest of honor. Don't give Kane a drink, either."

The master of Bacchus, a liquor store that was serving beer business stalls, recommends beer to Kane, who came.

"I've heard that the main guest is a village festival?

"The village chief was happy to have the festival this year because of the support Kane offered. This liquor was originally from Kane's money, so don't hesitate."

"Uh."

I should have anonymously offered support through the Adventurer's Guild, but for some reason, Kane has found out what he put out.

"Well, whatever it is, let's have a drink"

"Well, I'll have it."

Just liquor, I don't hate Kane either.

Gleefully, it was a cold beer on the prized kinks of the tavern Bacchus.

In the meantime, the master is cooking the chickpeas to crunch on a stove of charcoal.

"I got a knob."

"Thank you. These beans are crisp and delicious."

"Ha ha, Kane says everything tastes good, so you can feed it."

He said he was sightseeing clowns eating fragrant chickpeas and showing crafty curves while doing beer all the way down the street.

There, Yorke's granddaughter Katia comes and pulls the sleeve of her clothes.

"Kane's Grandma"

"Don't you have to watch the clown's songs anymore?

"Akiko!

"Ha ha, I can't help it if I open it"

Kane laughs bitterly that the festival tends to show off its curves because it's a street performer's earner, but the kids are pretty tough.

"Give me a treat!

"Yes, sir."

Katia laughs bitterly that you think you're a confectioner, and Kane takes the dried fruit out of the wrap for you.

"Wow! Grandma, you gave me sweets!

Katia made a scene, so the village kids said, "What!" and gathered around Kane.

I'm a clown disappointed, even though I strained myself to do the bending.

"What's this, what's this? Am I?"

"Yum!

Kids from the village come to Kane and treat him.

"I'm glad I brought more sweets."

It's a village festival, so I thought Kane would bring something too, so I'm buying some rustic baked sweets in the city.

The rewards for herb hunting have also increased in recent times, so I can do this kind of luxury somewhat.

If the money was made, I can also say that it seems like Kane would spend it on the kids' eating treats if he were to stay in a more decent lodging.

This is what Kane does because when she was an orphan, she had the experience of treating a sweet adult.

Kane knows exactly how heartwarming a child hungry for something sweet can be with just a few pastries or just one baked treat.

For Kane, the kids' smiles were the best reward.

"Kane, my grandson will take care of you."

A woody york came to Kane, taking him with the village elder, Mayor Holt.

"No, no, it's this way. It must be Mr. and Mrs. Yorke. He created the company of the mountain gods."

"The only way I can cut a tree is to thank the crocodiles. That's about it."

That's what I said, and Yorke laughed.

"I was going to ask that mountain god to become the patron saint of Kuko Village. I made it even more splendid for today's festival. Mr. Kane, come on in."

I was taken by the White Bearded Mayor of Holt to marvel at the size of Kane when he reached the mountain god.

"This is stunning, the mountain gods will be delighted!

Kuroshimatsu's company was even more powerful than it had seen before.

The foundation is firmly reassembled with flat stones, and a large two pillars are erected in the front room to form an arched gate.

Not as fine as the city church, of course, but not so much a small temple as a company.

Nearby, the spring water of the mountain was also drawn so that his hands could be cleaned, and the flower beds were planted with beautiful yamayuri and even provided for a little rest.

"More mountain monsters did it this year and the village was tough, but this is how we managed to hold the village festival safely. Though we live by the grace of the mountains, we have never thanked the mountain gods before. From now on, I'm going to take care of the mountain gods by apprenticing Mr. Kane."

Kane was also struck in the chest by the words of Mayor Holt, who spoke out loud.

"I think it's a good thing"

"All you have to do is find out the name of the mountain god, but it wasn't written on the statue."

Yorke says to Mayor Holt, who says so.

"Everybody, don't say Kane's God."

"I think Kane's God might be better off by now."

Listen to that, Kane laughs no.

"So may I come to the mountain gods too?"

"Yes, of course. Mr. Kane's God."

With that said, Mayor Holt laughed softly.

It is also splendid in the temple.

A lustrously polished black stone pine altar was set up, and a white and shining statue of God was worshipped in the middle of it.

The statue of the god of the mountains is much prettier than when Kane picked it up and worshipped it, and you can glimpse the face of the beautiful goddess.

"That, Virgin?

Maybe he was called to the inaugural ceremony where the temple was built?

The Virgin Sephilia, with her hands against the altar, is somewhat bumpy.

"Again, yes, it is. … Yes, Master Kane, I understand."

Kane gets called by his name, and he freaks out.

But I don't think I talked to this one.

Kane prays from behind, too, in an effort to keep her calm because she seems to be praying for something.

Then Sephilia turned to Krull Kane and grabbed his arm.

"Dear Kane. Now is destiny, it is!

"Yes?"

Whispering the mysterious words, Kane was set to head toward the city with his sleeve pulled as-is by Sephilia.
