Middle-aged Adventurer Kein’s Good Deed

44. First Adventurer Guild in a Few Days

Kane came to the Adventurer Alliance for the first time in days.

I care more about home, but if I don't work much, I get blunt.

"Hello"

"Ah, Mr. Kane is here"

Somehow, Elena, with long curly peachy hair, is cowardly, leaking an inclusive laugh from time to time.

"I don't know, you seem in a good mood"

"Yeah, thanks to Mr. Kane, I've seen some good stuff"

"Thanks to me, what is it?"

I don't know about anything, but Elena seems happy and Kane is happy.

"Mr. Kane's house, the gates have become splendid, right?"

"Oh, that's right"

"Princess Sword's party took it, didn't it?"

"What did you know?"

The guild's receptionist is informative, so maybe he heard it somewhere.

"... huff, it would have been better if that little girl's head had dirt on it too"

Blinked softly, Elena makes her bizarre eyes shine suspiciously.

"Yes?"

I didn't hear him very well whispering, but Kane was somehow freaked out for a moment.

"No, here's the story... There was a lot of yamayuri growing in our guild garden, so I took it to share it with Mr. Kane's house."

Elena takes out a bowl of yamayuri.

"Oh, this is a beautiful lily. Thank you, I'll let you plant it in our garden."

"I'll give it to you on your way home, so are you sure you still want to work with herb collection today?

Kane nods, of course.

It was the usual exchange, but there came the orphan Kid.

"Mr. Kane!

"What's up, Kid?

I thought I'd forgotten something, but I thought the look on my mind was different.

"Take me on a herb hunt, too."

"Kid......"

Kid has been saying for a long time that he wants to be an adventurer like Kane.

But there are plenty of other better professions for significant young people who, like Kid, can even read, write, and compute and acquire behavior.

I've been flushing it out thinking you'd be kidding, but I know you're serious if you even put a handmade leather breastplate on your sturdy nappy clothes and see how ready you are to carry a mountain knife.

"Please. I want to be an adventurer like Mr. Kane."

"Kid's only thirteen, isn't he? Elena, the adventurer registration started at the age of fifteen."

Trouble Kane talks to Elena, the receptionist.

"Um, there's no clear provision, but you deserve to be recognized as an adventurer"

I wonder what happened to Elena.

Kid is a serious, seemingly brilliant young man, so as an guild I'd appreciate it if he could be an adventurer and succeed Kane.

But I also know Kane's kindness for not wanting Kid to have an extra hard time.

A formidable warrior there comes out of the back and says:

"As a provisional registration, why don't Kane take him?"

"Guildmaster?

Georg, the head of the Adventurer Guild, came out.

"Mr. Georg!

"Kane. Certainly the adventurer family business is dangerous. I also know how you feel about not wanting a kid like this to have such a hard time. But isn't it the will of the person who decides his life?

"It's..."

"Um, you trained hard even though you're a girl"

Georg, a warrior, knows you've worked out to be an amateur just by looking at Kid's body.

"Kid, were you doing that?

"A little bit of a bare gesture..."

Kidd says shyly.

Not in the slightest place, but in preparation for this day Kid was waving a wooden sword when he found time.

"Um, Guildmaster"

Elena, speak up.

"What is it, Miss Elena? Are you complaining about my judgment, Gilmouth?

"No, is that a complaint..."

"Don't worry, if you're a solid Kane, you won't take your amateur anywhere dangerous"

"... Kid is a boy."

"What!?

Apparently, Georg mistook it for a girl because of Kid's beautiful face and the leather breastplate on her narrow limbs.

Seriously, Georg reviewing Kid.

Even if his qualities as a warrior are discernible, it seems that it was Georg who failed to discern his gender.

"Gohon, anyway! Kid-kun shall be provisionally registered. Kane identifies his intentions and qualifications as an adventurer. Gilmouth's orders!

Georg coughs hard, turning his stern face bright red and hastily pulling him back.

Slight air flows.

"So, that's what Gilmouth says, what do we do, Mr. Kane?"

"I'll take you there for now."

"Mr. Kane!

Kid makes his eyes shine with joy.

"Instead, during the adventure, follow what I say properly. If that's what you can promise, I'll take you."

"Of course!

Regardless of whether he was serious about becoming an adventurer or not, Kane wondered if knowing the life would help broaden young Kid's vision.
