Miniature Garden Chemister

28. Flowers of Memory - 1

When the night was late, my eyes glared naturally.

Did I wake up from the sound of my heart from time to time, even though I feel comfortable in my fluffy bed?

I was able to get on Dutchon safely, so I'm leaving this Harbor Street tomorrow morning. The first aim is a small village of elves about half a day away in Dutchon.

"When it comes to elves... to tact, is that Mr. Millu? Tact is in training, and Mr. Millu said he was going back to the village."

Although I haven't heard of any village, there is no doubt that it is here (Agdis).

Both of you, I wonder how you're doing. That's what I think, but I don't have the means to keep in touch. If it's tact, maybe you should sing and ask Mr. Spirit of Light. But I can't reach Mr. Millu.

This world, basically, means of communication becomes a letter. And very close people, nobles and other great people are communicating with magic props. Though it is also about the whole city at best because the distance is tied.

"Phew. I hope it works..."

I looked at the moon I could see through the window, and I closed my eyes.

If you don't sleep properly, tomorrow is hard.

◇ ◇ ◇

"Cho!"

"Wow, that's amazing, Dutchon!

"Master Hinami, you can take your time."

Me and Ickle set off from Harbor Street for an adventure the next morning.

The purpose is to open the "Curse" with Master Lettysreel.

I bought dried meat that I could store, drinking water, etc. to get ready for final preparation. We also provided a cape to replace the raincode, because the weather is changeable in the mountains.

Recovery pills (potions) are not a problem because they have their own, and demons... I don't think it would be helpful if they didn't come out so much.

Ickle runs forward and I follow.

Bright white duchesses often stand out in the mountains. Rest assured that you won't lose sight of Ickle if this happens, and still go ahead with your voices hanging.

To make it easier for me to run, Ikuru avoids the low tree branches and the like by hand first. Thanks to that I was able to concentrate on Dutchon. Exactly, if I can't stop running through this forest with a dutchon...... I may not have enough lives.

"And don't act on your own if you need anything."

"Yes!"

I have a priori I softened when I was a beginner, so I'll be honest with you and snort. Even I don't want to go through that anymore. Because the next hole that falls doesn't necessarily have no demons.

"Hinami-sama…… stop for just 10 seconds"

"Eh? Oh, yeah!

A still voice given by Ikuru.

This is the rule between me and Ickle that I decided before I went into the mountains.

Ickle runs the lead, and I stop when I find the demon. In the meantime, the equation is that Ichiru will defeat the demon... but isn't it just 10 seconds short?

If you think so and look forward, there was a bear-like demon there.

"It looks like an animal bear, but it's a monster called the Red Bear."

……!!

There seems to be no fear in the icru I say in my usual voice, accelerating the dutching and heading towards the Red Bear. Breathtaking, I can only stare at it.

Pull the Dutchon's paperwork all the way, and stop. That's the only job I can do right now. Although I have a bow that Master Rig gave me, I have up to three arrows a day.

Though I thought about what to do, the conversation is consolidated in the direction of not using it as much as possible because there is an emergency.

What a useless me in battle.

Shh! And the moment the sound of the wind cutting reached my ear, Ickle twirled the stick that was equipped from his hips to his back and shook it up towards the red bear.

Running straight through the side with the duchess, at the same time as Ickle, who turned this one... the Red Bear extinguished like a particle of light.

"... I can't believe you defeated the bear with one blow"

The pompous words were probably unconscious, and I was once again convinced that Ickle was amazing.

"Master Hinami, are you okay?

"Oh, yeah. Ichiru said he was strong. But I can't believe there's a bear out there... it's different from around the house."

Hard Wolf out in the woods around the house and Red Bear in this mountain. Wolf or bear, which is stronger? Though I don't know if they say so, it doesn't matter that they are both targets of fear. Rather, the Red Bear might be scarier for the unfamiliar part.

Ikuru, who came back to me, looked into my face worried, and Dutchon also said, "Cho? 'And he raised his voice worried about this again.

"Probably in the first village in about two hours. Maybe overnight listening for information there."

"Yeah. I hope you have some powerful information......"

"Well, it'll be tough. You might want to go to the heart of Agdis rather than ask weirdly..."

I don't know what to do, but Ikuru's eyes are serious.

I'm so happy with that because it's the way you're dating me as I am. No, because the disappearance of the "curse" means that Ikuru will no longer be a curse slave... although it is also beneficial for Ikuru.

"Well, let's just go to the village of Elves and think about it. I don't even know if you'll be welcome."

"Right. …… it would be nice to have you welcome."

"Cho."

Even as I get a little anxious about Ickle's words, I wouldn't know if I didn't try all this.

It's okay, they're not supposed to throw stones at you! After thinking about it for about two hours, I saw a small village in my sight.

"……… is that the village of Elves?

Sounds like it.

I pulled the Dutchon's reins and stopped once.

A slightly open space in the mountains. You can see it there, little village. The village where the elves and fairies live together... is it small and about 20 houses?

Colorful flowers are blooming around the village, and there are two male elves at the entrance to see if it's a lookout. Looks like he noticed us right away, and one of them came this way.

It's a long, slutty elf with skin protective gear.

"……… What can I do for you in this village?

"I'm an adventurer on a journey...... can I stop by the village? For once, he's a well-known pharmacist, so he can sell recovery drugs (potions)."

"…… I see. I'll check. Just a minute."

And what I discussed with Ickle again.

Essentially, the lead in the conversation is that Ikuru holds it. If I were you, I wouldn't know much about this world.... Agdis in particular.

So the discussion, including negotiations, is an icru subject, and I share the role of occasional follow-up.

Selling restorative drugs (potions) is one of the things we discussed when we left town. It's a small village, so it's hard to get healing pills (potions), etc. Of course, you can go shopping to the city, but it takes time there.

Later, it may simply be an entertaining position. We got business from the outside! and. If you are an adult, you will have the opportunity to go to the city, but not quite so in children.

In that sense, it was convenient for me to be a pharmacist.

"……… Are you okay?

"I wonder. But it's an elf village close to the city... isn't it okay?

"I hope."

I waited about 10 minutes while I was getting anxious and was relieved because an elf man came back and gave me permission. "Thank you very much," she asked me to sell her recovery medicine (potion).

"As a matter of fact, there were a few people who took part in the Demon Crusade for the first time this morning. I ran out of what I was stocking up on."

"Oh......... you did. If it's my recovery pill (potion), I'd love to."

"Help. Follow me because the village chief will take care of the purchase. Keep Dutchon at the entrance to the village. Because I don't mind if you use the Dutchon cabin over there."

"Thank you."

The elf man named him Toy and told him to follow him.

If I was in the cabin next to the entrance, I was surprised there were more than 10 duchesses. "Cho!" and her body trembled because of the overlapping sounds.

There's a pretty ribbon around my neck and Ickle's dutchon so I can tell right from the other kids. Yeah, it's stylish and very good!

Seeing his duchess with satisfaction, he leaves the cabin with Ickle and heads to the village chief's house.

"... Are you new to Agdis?

"That's right. … I'd like to go to the center of the island, but humans aren't very welcome."

"Well, you can't deny it. This made me milder than I used to be, though. This village is better. There is an Elf village in the heart of the island, surrounded by four villages, including this one… It will be difficult for humans to enter the central village."

"……… Is that so?"

Follow Ickle and Mr. Toy, and I will focus on listening to the conversation.

What I want to know is Ikuru asks me out as he talks, and there's no problem. What bothers me more than that is the fact that humans are less accepted.

I twist my head about what to do while I think that's a topic that goes in the dark direction. Because I was able to get to know him, I don't hate humans, but I'd like to give him some fun topics.

"……… Ah."

"Master Hinami?

"What is it?

"No, I don't know if I'm here... but I know an elf."

Maybe it's possible that Mr. Mirle lives in this village. According to Mr. Toy, there are five Elf villages. Then it should be enough as a possibility.

I'd be glad to see you, and maybe I can ask you something about Master Lettysreel.... Then I wish I could talk about tact.

"Do you know Elf? What's your name?

"Ah, yes. Mr. Millu and I call it tact. We met in the city of Larryl before... and we became friends."

"Are you acquainted with Master Mirlu...... Master Mirlu is not here because he is in the village in the centre. Tact is also from a central village."

"Well, you won't see me here...... too bad"

While I was surprised that Mr. Millu's honor was “Dear”, I couldn't hear it in depth somehow.

Sure... Mirlu's grandfather must have been the village chief or something. The executive role of the village in the centre is probably quite highly positioned as well.

Maybe you're too different to meet Mr. Mirle easily.

"I'll keep you posted at Mirle's. If you do, you'll hear back tomorrow."

"Eh... Eh! Are you sure?

"Of course it is. Because it is my duty to contact you. … however, there may be no response"

Communicating information from outside was also apparently an important role.

I remembered Mr. Millu's smile as I was relieved to be contacted for the first time. I hope you're doing well.

"Speaking of which, is there an inn in this village?

"Sometimes the city is close, and I don't have a place to stay because I don't have much to stay. Instead, you can stay at the village chief's house"

"I understand."

For a moment, I had good anxiety about Nojuku, but I didn't.

Sure, from here to Harbor Street, it's about three hours in Dutchon. This is my speed, so if you're used to it, you can get to the city faster.

If you walk through the village, you'll see a flower that looks familiar to you.

Lovely round flowers in white and water colour. However, this is the first time I have seen the actual product… I think I have read something in a book.

"Master Hinami, what's wrong?

"No, I think I kind of saw these flowers in some book, but I forgot..."

"This flower is called the flower of memory. Is that some kind of medicinal ingredient?

I stop and seriously look at the flowers.

I try to remember the name Mr. Toy gave me, but I don't know.

As much as I think I've seen it, I think it's some kind of ingredient...

"I guess so, but I remember too. A flower of memory is a strange name."

"Yes. If you plant this memory flower in the village, the flower will remember this village. Even if I get lost in the mountains, I want you to come back here. Well, I'm superstitious. I'm restless."

"I'm bored..."

Mr. Toy crouched down, picked one flower and handed it to me.

If you take it honestly, "It's just a flower, but if it helps with the medicine," he said. That's what he told me.

"Thank you very much. I'll take care of it."

"Yeah, it's a flower that grows all over the village, so pick it anytime."

Haha laughing, Mr. Toy stops his leg.

Hmm? And if you look forward... a log house a little bigger than the rest of the house got into view.

That's right. I soon found out it was the village chief's house, too.
