Monster no Goshujin-sama

7. Operational Preparation

Seven.

Preparations for departure became a rush.

We first moved to the Imperial City and completed a short meeting.

For the convenience of the operation for which speed was required, it was decided that Lily, Silan, Robbia, Aya and Berta would join me in the pursuit unit of the Divine Palace Superintendent.

Most importantly, they're only tracking aids and my escorts.

It will be the task of the expedition to fight directly against the Shinto Shrine line.

This one was selected by Mr. Nakatsuka for about forty people.

However, they have not even been informed of the details of the 'cornerstone of the world'.

Other than Mr. Nakatsuki, he was only explained that 'the confused Shrine Master is after a very dangerous magic tool'.

I thought there would be some people who cared about the details, but Nakatsuki seemed to hold the reins well there.

That would mean that I've only been putting together a group of my strong cheats for nearly a year.

The opponents have five transferees even if they combine with the Shrine Superintendent, so with this many people, it doesn't matter if they even chase them.

But whether we chase him or not is another story.

It's hard to chase down to the Shrine Superintendent, who used an airway with his unique abilities.

The selected members were therefore to be moved by the dragons in the dragon abyss.

The dragons in the dragon abyss against the expedition have become very bad because of the 'all-purpose vessel' Okazaki pondering, but at the same time they know that it is only Okazaki's personal responsibility.

Though it cannot be said that there is nothing psychologically inseparable about it, there seemed to outweigh the crisis of 'Shinto Jingu, the main perpetrator of the raid that scratched the defenses inside, is trying to seize dangerous magic tools'.

The place of departure was designated a square near the cathedral.

When we arrived, about half of us were face-to-face in the operation.

That's quite noisy, as more than a hundred people will be gathered, including those gathered to prepare.

I was exchanging words with the rest of the members because it seemed we still had a little time before they all got together.

"Be careful, seniors"

That's what I'm saying, Mr. Kato's holding me from the front.

Speed is important for tracking in different worlds, so she's leaving a message in Imperial City.

Rose and Gabella were supposed to stay here for when something happened.

"I hope you're all right"

"Be careful, you'll be back safe."

Rose and Gabella also said, gently exchanging hugs.

"Absolutely. He's got plenty of fighting power this time."

"Sure, if you're on my side, I don't know what I can count on so much"

"The leader of the expedition definitely appreciates your husband."

When I was interacting like that, I felt my gaze from around me.

In carrying out this operation, Mr. Nakatsuki used to say something about us, but I don't really feel bad about it.

After all, the influence of the expedition leader seemed immense.

Nevertheless, his gaze was felt, as his eyes were not the only ones that could be put together to see something unusual.

Most of all, I would have cared about my gaze if this were normal, but not now.

It was a priority to comfort my worried companions.

Mr. Kato opened his mouth as Gabella moved away as he pressed his lips against his cheek.

"Seniors. I do not trust the Cathedral Church perfectly"

Declare clearly.

There's Harrison at the distance his voice can reach, but he doesn't look like he cared - rather than I guess this is a brazen restraint.

Kato grinned lightly as she shrugged.

"So it makes sense for me to stay here. Anyway, I barely keep my appearance because I have seniors. If I tell you, I'm a bomb. It also came with a remote button. In case anything happens to the seniors, 'Ugly Monster' will instantly burst around in Imperial City"

"... Takahiro Mashima is going to return safely without stabbing the nail like that"

With a smile turned, Harrison, who had placed herself in a wheelchair, was stiffening her expression.

There was a real sense of crisis there.

I don't know, I haven't seen the scene where the 'Ugly Monster' broke out.

It was a tragic tragedy just to see the damage after.

If you try to be the person you face, maybe the sense of crisis is a mess.

Harrison turned his gaze to the boy standing beside him.

"Thank you very much"

"Okay."

It was Kazu who responded.

In the aristocratic realm of the east, he is one of those who lost one of his companions and failed to destroy one of the settlements, causing rumours of false bravery.

It was a story of being mentally ill and now protected in the Imperial Capital, but apparently demobilized.

Three transferees of the same condition were participating in this operation.

In addition to that, there were five students who were on their way to Imperial Capital in the leaving group.

The eight of them were supposed to participate in the operation as brave men who would give themselves up to the Cathedral Church, not just as expeditions.

"Mashima!"

So I was called out.

Iino was walking over here.

It's just that, as usual, she's not there to walk with her long dark hair soaked up.

I was dragging my legs.

She is severely injured on one leg when she engages Shi Chiya Jingu.

Apparently, they used a nasty poison, and even recovery magic had been diagnosed as something that would take time to heal.

Dragging her legs unfettered, she seemed to notice Kazu, who was nearby, trying to pack them to me.

"Ah, Kazu-kun..."

"Well, here I am."

Kazu bowed his head to Harrison.

And I turned my foot toward Iino.

Awkward air flows.

They used to be on the same expedition, but they cross swords in different worlds.

Iino seemed to have tried to say something, but he mumbled whether he could not find the words.

"Sorry about this time, Iino."

Conversely, Kazu spoke without hesitation.

He would have liked it if he had already decided his mind.

"But I've already set my course."

What was spoken was a separate word.

To tell you all that, Kazu left the spot to accomplish the task entrusted to him.

In the meantime, Iino was standing up.

It looked like a big shock.

Yesterday, maybe I was wondering if it was some kind of mistake.

But Kazu acknowledged what he had done, and also showed that it was an action by his strong will.

Perhaps for Kawatsu today, the Cathedral Church is where he is.

Iino has a strong sense of companionship with the members of the expedition.

But I didn't get that thought.

I noticed the side was about to cry, but she was on the brink and turned to me.

"... I need to talk to you, Mashima"

"If you want me to take you, I can't hear you."

When I stabbed the nail first, Iino stuck his breath all the time.

Easy to understand.

However, when I saw him look badly like a bat, it didn't mean he didn't have any thoughts, he seemed to have a proper sense of what he was saying he couldn't.

"There's no way you can take a human with a leg injury to a tracking operation."

"Well, that's true, but I..."

I know Iino well.

Still, I guess I couldn't contain my feelings.

"I..."

He looked like he'd been burned in agony.

Even though I was deciding there was no way I could take him, it was enough to make me feel a little lost.

From what I've heard, it was the Shrine Master who hurt Iino's leg.

I hear that Shinto Shinto is a comrade in the expedition for Iino and has had the opportunity to make contact even after leaving the expedition.

On the contrary, I guess I was bound up with more than that because I also invited Iino once to my activity of looking for a means that we could all return to the original world.

That area must have caused her to feel responsible.

I wondered if I had been condemned to the crime of Shingu - and there was nothing strange about it even if the responsible Iino had thought about it.

Looking at Iino right now, if he wasn't convinced properly, he seemed to draw his tail all the way back.

But how should I persuade you?

When I was speaking up, he spoke from the side.

He said, "Keep it that way."

"Leader......"

Mr. Nakatsuki was on the street.

Apparently, he saw me in trouble and gave me a help boat.

"I'll take care of him. Or am I unreliable?"

When he heard the utterly tone, Iino silenced himself for a while.

"... no. That's not true. I'll be the leader, I'll take care of it."

"Oh. I wish it was"

Nakatsuki-san had a refreshing grin.

I quickly withdrew Iino's opinion.

This would not have happened to me.

Iino lowered his head and said in a depressed manner.

"Okay. The leader is right. Mashima, too, I'm sorry. I'm going to have to interrupt, so I'm going to be rude."

"Oh."

"Shigeru Jingu, please."

When Iino turned his back, he painfully dragged his legs away.

I dropped off my back, and I frowned a little.

Indeed, I was able to cut up my questions with Iino.

But all we've done now is bring out trust and seal our opinions.

Iino wasn't convinced. The lump will stay.

Unexpectedly, when I turned my gaze, Nakatsuki shrugged her shoulder.

"I know, you're not very good right now. But it's an emergency."

"... right"

It was an honest argument.

I didn't even mean to accuse you from the start, but I can't say anything more if Mr. Nakatsuki, one of Iino's people, tells me this.

"Isn't Mashima sweet?"

Nakatsuki-san laughed favourably.

"What, it's okay. We'll take the one from the shrine master. That way, you'll have the opportunity to follow up as much as you want."

That, too, was right.

As long as Shinto Jingu can be regarded, Iino's self-blame will not deepen any further.

Conversely, if it cannot be put together, the world will perish.

You won't even be able to worry about Iino's mental state.

"I hope so, Mashima."

That's what I said, Mr. Nakatsuka has been slapping me on the shoulder.

We're gonna save the world.

A pleasant grin can be directed.

It was a grin directed at a rival co-opponent.

So it was told that all the humans participating in the operation had gathered.

We rode the back of the dragon and started tracking the shrine chief.
