"Men!" Quentin Grant called out in a low voice.

"Sir!"

"Get a car ready immediately. Throw this woman inside." His voice was calm and measured.

Although Young Master Dalton’s voice sounded a little strange, his men didn’t dare hesitate when they saw his face—especially the sparkling diamond stud in his ear. They immediately brought a car over.

Faye Sinclair was pushed into the back seat. Nora Ainsworth got in the front passenger seat, and Quentin Grant sat next to Faye. Since Faye was in handcuffs and shackles, they didn’t need any other guards in the car.

Just as the car was about to leave, a woman in a long dress and a hat appeared at the main gate.

She blocked the car’s path.

The gate guard trotted over to the car window. "Young Master Dalton, this woman... she claims *she’s* Miss Sutton and is demanding to see you."

Quentin Grant spoke slowly. "There’s only one Miss Sutton here. Tell her to get lost."

The guard shouted, "Yes, sir," and ran back. Nora looked at the woman, already knowing what was happening. ’Saphira Sutton herself must have shown up after hearing that I was at the party.’

Her heart tightened, but she chuckled from inside the car. "How audacious, trying to impersonate me to get in here."

Quentin Grant played along. "My thoughts exactly. Keep driving."

The driver had just started the engine when Saphira Sutton threw herself in front of the car. "Toby Dalton!" she screamed. "Get out here! You had a woman get plastic surgery to look like me just to draw me out, didn’t you? Well, it worked! I’m not dead! Get down here! I’m back, so why won’t you face me and explain yourself?"

Quentin Grant’s eyes turned colder. "Drag that woman away from the car."

The driver immediately rolled down his window, stuck his head out, and yelled to the gate guards, "Young Master Dalton’s orders! Drag her away!"

Several guards rushed forward to drag Saphira Sutton away, but she was clearly no pushover. She had brought her own people. Not only did the guards fail to grab her, but they were overpowered and dragged away by her men instead.

She strode forward, yanked open the car door, and stood beside Quentin Grant. "Toby Dalton, get out!"

Quentin Grant coldly spat out a single word. "Scram."

Saphira Sutton heard that single word with absolute clarity.

She and Toby Dalton had been together for many years; she knew him inside and out.

She could tell at once that the voice wasn’t Toby Dalton’s...

Saphira Sutton narrowed her eyes, staring intently at Quentin Grant, and uttered five firm words: "You are not Toby Dalton..."

Quentin Grant didn’t panic. "Woman, I’ll give you one chance. Get the hell away from me. Otherwise, I’ll make sure your death is an ugly one."

"You’re not Toby Dalton!" she yelled. "Toby has a small black mole on the left side of his jaw. You don’t!"

Quentin Grant slammed the back door shut, then yanked open the driver’s side door and pulled the driver out. Saphira Sutton lunged forward, but stopped dead when Quentin pointed his gun at the center of her forehead. She didn’t dare move.

Quentin Grant got into the car, started the engine, and floored it, ignoring the human wall of people blocking his path. As the car surged forward, the human wall instantly scattered.

"After them!" Saphira shrieked. "He’s not Toby Dalton, and that woman isn’t Saphira Sutton! I am!"

Instantly, a large group of men scrambled into cars and gave chase.

Quentin Grant handed a key to Nora Ainsworth. "Nora, unlock your mom’s handcuffs and shackles."

Nora took it. "Okay."

She scrambled from the front seat into the back, unlocked Faye Sinclair’s handcuffs and shackles with the key, and told her, "Mom, crouch down on the floor and don’t move."

Faye Sinclair nodded, her eyes welling with tears.

With that done, Nora returned to the passenger seat. Seeing the pursuers in the rearview mirror, she asked worriedly, "Quentin, should we call the Captain?"

"No need. They’re already waiting for us at the intersection up ahead."

Hearing this, Nora relaxed slightly. Just then, gunshots rang out from behind. Nora rolled down her window, leaned halfway out, and aimed her pistol at the pursuing car. Her aim was true. She hit the glass right in front of the driver, and the car screeched to a halt amidst a spray of shattered glass.

But the cars behind that one continued the chase.

Gunshots echoed through the quiet night.

After driving for ten or twenty kilometers, they saw a large group of Men in Black waiting on a bridge ahead, just as expected. The moment Quentin Grant’s car crossed, the entire bridge exploded.

A deafening BOOM echoed through the mountains.

The pursuing cars screeched to a halt, barely avoiding plunging into the river below.

But they weren’t giving up. They turned around to find another route and continue the chase.

Ethan Ellsworth was now behind the wheel; he had received the news just as the concert was ending.

A convoy of eight luxury cars headed for the private airfield.

Unable to contact Toby Dalton, his men had already requested government assistance. They asked for Quentin Grant’s plane to be intercepted to prevent Toby from being taken to Fravia.

The government naturally obliged. Before Quentin Grant’s plane could even depart, it was intercepted by officials from Grestin.

By then, Quentin Grant and Nora Ainsworth had both used a special solution to remove their masks, revealing their true faces.

"Mr. Grant, to what do we owe the pleasure of your visit to Grestin? You didn’t even say hello," Grestin’s Minister of Foreign Affairs asked with a wide smile.

Quentin Grant stood opposite him, his smile not reaching his eyes. "My mother-in-law was forcibly abducted and held here for over a month. How could I possibly have greeted you? I was afraid you’d be too embarrassed."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs was well aware that, fundamentally, Toby Dalton was the one in the wrong.

"Mr. Grant, regarding this matter, Toby Dalton was indeed the first to transgress. Please, state your demands. As long as they are within reason, we will certainly accept them."

Quentin Grant’s brow smoothed, but his voice was laced with ice. "I don’t need money. I have only one condition: Toby Dalton must personally issue a public statement admitting to kidnapping my mother-in-law and to orchestrating the massacre at the Fravian airport. If you refuse, I won’t release him. I’ll have no choice but to hand this culprit over to my country’s justice department."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs hadn’t expected such a demand. The kidnapping was manageable, but admitting that one of their own had masterminded the recent massacre at the Fravian airport would be a massive blow to Grestin’s reputation. But if they refused, Toby Dalton could very well be... in Fravia...

"I need to consult my superiors. Please allow me five minutes." The Minister turned to make a call.

Nora Ainsworth stood beside him. "Do you think they’ll agree? The airport incident is technically closed."

"But the public hasn’t forgotten. The official conclusion was intentionally ambiguous. Everyone knows who was behind it; there just wasn’t any direct proof until now."

Nora thought for a moment and nodded.

A few minutes later, the Minister of Foreign Affairs returned. "My superiors have agreed to your terms. You can release him now."

A slight smile played on Quentin Grant’s lips. He waved a hand. "Bring Toby Dalton here!"

Two Men in Black brought Toby Dalton before the crowd. Toby was already awake, and he looked dumbfounded by the situation, his face tight with tension. He never imagined that while he was setting a trap for Quentin Grant, he would be so thoroughly and miserably outplayed before he could even spring it.

He wanted to roar, but his mouth was taped shut.

The Men in Black tossed Toby Dalton in front of the Minister, who then ripped the tape from his mouth.

Finally able to speak, Toby Dalton immediately roared, "Quentin Grant, I’ll never forget this humiliation! I swear I won’t let you get away with this!"

Quentin Grant was completely unfazed. "Toby Dalton, you’re nothing but a petty coward. If you had any guts, you’d come after me directly instead of using my family to threaten me. Only a halfwit like you would think of such a thing. But let me make one thing clear: I am not to be trifled with. Don’t ever provoke me again. Otherwise, next time, I’ll make sure there’s not even a body left to bury."

Finished, he turned to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. "You’d better keep your dog on a tight leash. Don’t let him out to bite people again. If someone clubs him to death, you’ll be out a watchdog. And another thing—make sure you keep your promise. We have a recording of our conversation."

"Quentin, let’s go," Nora said.

"Stop!" Toby Dalton roared. "Saphira!"

Nora never would have dreamed that Toby Dalton would recognize her without her mask.

"You didn’t recognize me with the mask, yet you knew me instantly without it. Tell me, how did you manage that?" Nora pursed her lips.

"Your voice just now... I never would have guessed. You’re Quentin Grant’s woman. You were by my side for over a month just to save your mother!"

Nora smiled at him. "My voice was fake, the result of a special drug. Did you really think I went undercover for *you*? Toby Dalton, threatening Quentin with my mother’s life... Are you even a man?"

She was about to turn away when he spoke again. "Saphira, I won’t use these kinds of tactics again. From now on, I’ll compete with Quentin Grant based on my own strength."

Quentin Grant sneered. "She’s not Saphira. And you can talk about competing when you actually have the ability to do so."

He put an arm around Nora Ainsworth’s shoulders and turned, heading for the plane’s cabin door.

All the Men in Black followed them aboard.

Moments later, the plane took off, disappearing from view.

Someone unlocked Toby Dalton’s handcuffs and shackles. He was practically shaking with rage. In a bag nearby were the clothes and diamond stud Quentin Grant had returned to him.

He got dressed, a furious rage with no outlet simmering inside him like a volcano about to erupt.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs escorted Toby Dalton back. Before leaving, he said, "My superiors asked me to pass on a message. ’Revenge is a dish best served cold. Patience opens up a world of possibilities.’ When dealing with a man like Quentin Grant, you can’t be motivated by small gains or be short-sighted. You must consider the bigger picture. You know better than anyone what is truly valuable. That’s the principle of letting out a long line to catch a big fish."

Toby Dalton nodded. "I understand. Take care."

He stood at the door, and his eyes fell on the woman standing not far away. His gaze turned cold. He strode forward and, before Saphira Sutton could speak, slapped her hard across the face. "You bitch! How dare you show your face to me again!"

Saphira Sutton clutched her face, her expression a mask of disbelief. "Toby Dalton, what are you doing?! It’s me, Saphira Sutton! I’m the real one! That other woman was an impostor!"
