Chapter 484 - 480: Have a Good Sleep With Me

Holly Wood kicked out with both feet, but it was no use.

’I can’t think about anything else. If I get violated here, my life is over. I’ll never be able to forgive myself.’

So, she used every ounce of her strength to break free. When she turned to look, it was a man she didn’t recognize.

"Who are you? What do you want?"

"Who I am isn’t important. What’s important is who you’ve offended. I’m the kind of guy who gets paid to do a job. Don’t struggle, little beauty. Just sleep with me. How about you let big brother keep you company?"

Holly silently slipped off her high-heeled sandals, standing barefoot on the floor. She suddenly bent down, grabbed a shoe, and smashed it directly into the man’s face.

She pulled open the door and tried to run out.

But the man lunged forward and grabbed her by the hair. "Where do you think you’re going?!"

Holly felt like her scalp was about to be torn off. The pain was excruciating. She screamed, "Help!"

The man sneered. "You can scream your head off, no one’s coming. This place has already been taken care of. Little lady, I’d advise you to behave. Otherwise, when I get angry, you’re going to suffer."

She felt her strength draining away.

The man twisted her arm behind her back and shoved her onto the sofa. Just then, the door opened.

Maeve Sutton walked in, another man at her side.

The door closed. She strode toward Holly and said in a cold voice, "Pull this little bitch to her feet!"

The man quickly did as he was told.

Maeve Sutton scoffed. "Someone like you thinks you can be with Leon? If you have any good points, it’s just that your aura is a bit similar to Nora Ainsworth’s. He just loves your type, pretending to be so pure."

"Did you have me brought here just to teach me a lesson?"

Maeve laughed. "Just teach you a lesson? I want to see the woman he likes get screwed by other men. I bet that will feel pretty good."

Holly’s pupils constricted. The fear in her heart was real.

"You might as well just kill me."

"Killing you would be no fun. Once you’re dead, you can’t feel anything. A fate worse than death is much more entertaining." She turned and continued, "Tell me, how many times have you slept with Leon?"

Holly didn’t make a sound.

Maeve waited a moment, then asked again, "I’m asking you a question. Are you mute?"

Holly still said nothing.

Maeve backhanded her across the face. The sharp CRACK of the slap made Holly’s ears ring.

"Are you going to talk or not?"

"That’s our private business. Why should I tell you?!"

"Why? Heh." Maeve raised her hand and unleashed a dozen sharp slaps across Holly’s face until her mouth started to bleed, but she still wasn’t satisfied.

"You’ve got a tough mouth, don’t you?" She sat down, crossed her legs, opened a cigarette case, and lit one up, taking two hard drags. "The man I’ve loved for so many years... first it was Nora Ainsworth, now it’s you. You two really have some nerve. A latecomer trying to take the lead. I loved him first! What right do the two of you have to occupy his heart? Holly Wood, you should take a good look at yourself. You really think you can marry into the Lynch Family? If I don’t teach you a lesson, you’ll never know your place."

"And just how big is the sky?" Holly asked.

Maeve exhaled a cloud of smoke. "You’re about to find out."

She looked at the two men. "This woman is all yours tonight. Have fun."

Then she stood up, opened the door, and walked out.

The two men’s faces lit up with glee. Just then, Holly’s phone started to ring.

The man holding Holly down pulled the phone from her pocket and, without even looking at it, tossed it onto the table, letting it ring.

Taking advantage of the moment the man tossed her phone, Holly shoved him hard, sending him sprawling to the floor. His head hit the table.

Seeing this, the other man came over and slapped Holly again. "Bitch, playing tough, are you? Tonight, I’m gonna make you scream under me."

He grabbed Holly’s shoulders with both hands and hauled her up. Her hair was a mess, her face was already swollen, and her mouth was bleeding.

He threw her onto the sofa.

She tried to get up, but the man forcefully started pulling at her pants.

At this, her heart sank.

Her hand slowly reached up to her hair, closing around a long, black hairpin in her palm.

With a surge of ruthless determination, she stabbed it at the man’s face.

The man stopped what he was doing, clutching his face with both hands. He then began to viciously punch and kick Holly.

When he got tired, the man ignored her for a moment and went to grab some tissues to stop the bleeding from his face.

The other man thought for a moment and said, "Hey boss, let’s find some rope and tie this bitch up first. Then we can have some real fun. Otherwise, holding her down is too much work."

"Then go get some rope from the boss lady. I’ll watch her here."

The man left, and suddenly only one man and Holly remained in the room.

Holly knew that if the man returned with a rope, she wouldn’t be able to escape even if she had wings.

The phone on the table was still ringing. Her attention wasn’t on it, because she knew distant help couldn’t solve an immediate crisis. Instead, she scanned the private room, looking for anything she could use as a weapon.

Suddenly, her eyes locked onto something under the table: a fruit knife for peeling fruit.

The man sat on the edge of the sofa near the door to prevent her from escaping. She moved toward the sofa further inside. He glanced at her. "You’ll get what’s coming to you in a bit. You’re a real firecracker now, but you’ll be a little lamb soon enough."

Holly said nothing. Her entire body ached with pain.

She slowly bent down, reached out her hand, and took the fruit knife into her palm.

"You. Come here," she said, her voice low and dark.

"What for?"

Holly hid the fruit knife behind her back and reached up to unbutton her top. "Didn’t you want to fuck me? He’s not here now. Aren’t you going to hurry up? I’m still a virgin."

Hearing this, the man immediately came over. Holly’s hand moved behind her back and gripped the fruit knife.

He chuckled lewdly and reached for her pants. "Now, that’s more like it."

Holly tightened her grip on the knife. ’The other man is about to come back. I’m going to be gang-raped. I’d rather die.’ With that thought, she swung the fruit knife and plunged it into the man’s left chest.

"AHHH!!!" The man let out a blood-curdling scream and collapsed to the ground. Afraid he would get up and kill her, Holly pulled the bloody knife from his chest and stabbed him several more times, until he lay motionless by the table, no longer breathing.

She stood by the door, expressionless, clutching the dripping knife.

The door was soon pushed open. "Boss, I got the rope."

The instant the door closed, there was another scream. Blood sprayed across Holly’s face.

She bolted the door. Seeing the man clutch his stomach and try to get up from the floor, she was terrified. She lunged with the knife and delivered a fatal slash to his neck.

The room was filled with the stench of blood.

Holly collapsed to the floor, her eyes vacant.

She stared at the knife in her hand as a single fact crystallized in her mind: ’I’ve killed someone. I’ve killed someone! I’m someone who’s normally too scared to even kill a chicken, and I’ve killed people...’

The phone on the table was still ringing. She staggered to her feet and picked it up with her bloody hand. It was Leon Lynch.

She pressed the answer key.

"Holly, why haven’t you been answering your phone...?"

"Leon," she called out.

"Yeah, what room are you in? I’m already outside the karaoke bar you mentioned..."

"Leon, I killed someone..."

Leon Lynch was taken aback. "What room are you in? Tell me. Don’t be afraid, I’m coming right now."

Holly opened the door, looked at the number plate, and said, "1009."

The call ended. Less than two minutes later, he appeared at the door, opened it, and walked in.

As soon as he entered, he saw the dead man by the door and the other one by the table. Holly was sitting on the sofa, her face completely drained of color.

"Holly..." He walked over, squatted down, and looked at her.

She lifted her face to look at him and murmured, "Leon, we can’t be together anymore. I’m a murderer. I killed someone."

She pointed at the two bodies on the floor. "I killed both of them..."

"Tell me. Weren’t you going to meet June Walsh? How did you end up here? And how did you kill them...? It’s okay... Tell me. I want to know exactly what happened..."

Through her halting words, Leon Lynch learned the whole truth.

The truth made Leon’s heart ache for her. She had killed people to protect herself from being violated.

He hugged her and whispered in her ear, "We can still be together. I won’t let you go to jail."

With that, he took out his phone and ordered one of his men to buy a set of women’s clothes, bring two large suitcases, and a sum of cash.

Half an hour later, Leon’s man arrived.

He packed the two bodies into the suitcases, cleaned up the bloodstains, and threw the fruit knife in as well. Following Leon’s orders, the bodies were to be incinerated to destroy all evidence, leaving no trace.

The subordinate left.

Leon handed her the clothes. "Don’t be scared. Don’t cry. Stay calm and change into these."

He stood up, but Holly grabbed his hand, looking at him. "What are you going to do...?"

"I’m stepping out to take care of something. I’ll be back in five minutes, tops. Get changed, here’s a lighter. Burn your old clothes. Be good."

He left. Holly looked at the clothes in her hands and quickly changed. Following Leon’s instructions, she burned her original bloody clothes, then threw the ashes into the toilet and flushed them away.

She went into the restroom, washed her face, and combed her hair, though she was still deeply terrified.

He returned, just as he’d promised, and held out his hand to her. "Let’s go home."

She nodded, walked over to him, and followed him out of the private room.

Once in the car, she asked, "What did you go do just now...?"

"I bought tonight’s surveillance footage from the KTV."

"How much?"

Leon Lynch answered nonchalantly, "It was cheap. Five hundred thousand."

Holly thought back to what had just happened and felt like she had just taken a trip to hell and back.

"I killed people, and you still want to be with me? You don’t mind...?"

He raised a hand and pressed his fingers to her lips. "Tonight never happened. Remember, you are not a murderer. You have never killed anyone. You have to remember my words. Otherwise, Holly, both of us will be in trouble."
