"Hmph, I’ll ask Grandpa for money!" Joseph Lancaster said indifferently.

Daxton Lancaster laughed, the corners of his lips curling into an elusive smile.

"You’ve grown some wings, daring to challenge your big brother!"

"Big brother, we’re brothers. Mom and Dad both agreed, I don’t want to work in the family company."

"Why?" Daxton asked, raising his phoenix eyes.

Joseph Lancaster laughed and said, "I’m not the only one managing it, no matter how good the performance is, it’s not solely my credit."

"Kid, your ambition is not small!"

Daxton snorted coldly, actually feeling proud of his brother, the top scorer of T City’s college entrance exam, admitted to the city’s most famous university.

"Not at all, big brother, I just want to try on my own." Joseph Lancaster said a bit shyly, a 21-year-old still in school, quite bashful.

"Alright, next year big brother will give you a company for you to manage yourself!"

"Really?" Joseph Lancaster looked surprised, Mom and Dad said they would help him start a company, but big brother is directly giving him one, even though he’s still studying, he knows taking over an existing one is much easier than starting from scratch.

"When has big brother ever lied to you?"

Daxton Lancaster smiled and tousled Joseph Lancaster’s hair. Previously, Joseph never minded this gesture, but now, with his sister-in-law present, he didn’t want to be treated like a child.

He awkwardly glanced at Violet Zimmerman, saying reluctantly, "Big brother, I’m already an adult, don’t always rub my head."

Daxton Lancaster...

Paused slightly before quickly laughing, "Alright, alright, you’re an adult now, next year big brother will help you bring a wife home!"

"Not at all, being alone is great!" Joseph Lancaster muttered softly, the three of them talked while walking, unknowingly arriving at the grandfather’s residence.

During dinner, all the Lancaster Family members gathered there.

Violet Zimmerman greeted grandpa and then sat at his dining table with Daxton Lancaster.

The Lancaster Family rules are strict, no talking during meals, after everyone finished eating, the grandfather spoke, "Earlier, the second son made a suggestion to me, and since we have time today, let’s resolve it."

In the past, for any matter, grandpa would tend to discuss it with eldest grandson Daxton Lancaster beforehand. This time, however, he directly announced it, which made Daxton realize the suggestion was already accepted.

The servants cleared the dishes, while the children of the two households remained seated, looking at grandpa.

Grandpa picked up his tea cup, brushed off the tea leaves, and blew gently, "Here’s the thing, in the afternoon, the second son proposed to me that he wants to venture out on his own."

"On his own? What does that mean?" Arthur Saunders asked, puzzled. The Lancaster Family is a large family, factories and companies are managed together, and now the second brother wants to go solo, does it mean... even giving up the dividends?

That’s not like Atlas Lancaster at all, he used to even share a needle to split it in half!

Atlas Lancaster cleared his throat, placing one hand on the table and lowering his eyes, "I’ve thought it over, I’m planning to start my own factory, producing and selling, the profits will be mine alone, and from now on I won’t ask for a penny from the family."

After Atlas Lancaster finished speaking, grandpa turned to eldest grandson Daxton Lancaster.

"Daxton, what’s your opinion?"

Daxton Lancaster smiled, despite being the Family Head, he looks gentle when he smiles.

He lifted his phoenix eyes to look at Atlas Lancaster.

"Second Uncle, how big is the factory you plan to open?"
