Joseph Lancaster chimed in, looking reproachfully at his big brother, "Look at how arrogant the second aunt is, even cursing indirectly that sister-in-law is a barren chicken. Can’t you travel less and stay home to be with your wife more often?"

Daxton Lancaster glanced at Joseph, frowned, and scolded unhappily, "What nonsense are you kids saying? Have you no shame?"

"Big brother! I’m an adult now; many of my high school classmates are already married!" Joseph Lancaster retorted in dissatisfaction.

"Exactly, big brother. If second brother weren’t in school, he’d be of marrying age too, but you got married late!" Aurora Lancaster chimed in again.

Daxton Lancaster shot a look at his younger brother and sister but said nothing more.

Aurora Lancaster continued to chatter, emphasizing the need for the brother and sister-in-law to have a son soon, which would also irk Uncle Atlas Lancaster’s family.

When they returned to their residence, Daxton Lancaster went directly upstairs. Seeing her husband’s unhappy figure, Violet Zimmerman hesitated for a moment before following him up.

When Violet Zimmerman returned to the room, Daxton Lancaster was already showering. After a moment’s hesitation, Violet light knocked on the bathroom door.

"Daxton, may I come in?"

The servants had prepared the bathwater in advance. Daxton Lancaster had just taken off his clothes. Upon hearing Violet’s voice, he narrowed his eyes slightly, removed the last piece of clothing, and stepped into the bathtub to lie down.
