Ethan Grant was already dressed and ready, squatting by the bed with a smile, gazing at her with deep affection.

"Time to get up."

Serena Sullivan really wanted to sleep; she only fell asleep after three in the morning due to insomnia. What time is it now!

She picked up her phone to check, and it was five o’clock.

"We’re going to the civil affairs bureau to queue for marriage registration."

Upon hearing Ethan Grant’s words, Serena thought he was crazy. She covered her head with the blanket, not wanting to deal with him.

It’s not a special day like 12/14 or anything. They just randomly picked a day to get their marriage certificate. How could there be a long queue, and why get up so early?

Serena was unwilling to get up, staying cozily under the blanket, no matter how much Ethan called her.

Ethan didn’t continue calling her. Seeing Serena was indeed very sleepy, he remained sitting by the bed.

After a long time, listening to Serena’s sound sleep, Ethan pulled back the blanket covering her face. Under the dim yellow bedside lamp, Serena’s face gradually became clear in his eyes.

Ethan looked at her, a smile spreading on his face and reaching his eyes.

It’s really wonderful!

His life was going to be different today! His life would become happy and complete because of Serena.

Just watching her like this, he couldn’t sleep anymore, wanting to stay with Serena forever until old age!

Serena woke up again and it was already ten in the morning.

She checked the time and was startled, quickly getting up from bed, followed by Ethan’s voice coming from the bedroom.

"Awake?"

Serena turned her head to look at Ethan, asking in surprise, "Why didn’t you wake me up!"

He was the one eager to get married!

And he was the one letting her sleep in!

"You were sleeping so soundly, I couldn’t bear to."

After eight o’clock, Ethan was indeed anxious. He called out to Serena, and when she didn’t wake, he gave up.

After that, he just let her be.

Anyway, they had the whole day. They could go to the civil affairs bureau anytime they wanted. He just wanted to pamper Serena.

"Hmm!"

Serena couldn’t help but smile, leaning down to give Ethan a kiss.

Although she endured many hardships earlier in life, now everything was truly wonderful.

Serena washed up and changed into clean clothes in no time. By the time she left, it was already half past ten.

Luckily, the civil affairs bureau was not far from Willow Yarrow, only a five or six-minute walk.

When they arrived, there weren’t many people. The staff member saw them and remarked curiously, "Everyone else comes early in the morning for their certificates. But you two, right on time!"

Serena smiled, as long as they made it.

Following the procedures, the two filled out the forms together, took a photo, made vows. Everything felt natural, even making Ethan a bit nervous, writing on many sheets of paper.

"You’re even more nervous than the man next door."

The staff member said with a smile, "But that man is in his forties or fifties, looks somewhat like you."

Ethan chuckled, not taking the comment seriously, and wrote even more carefully this time.

Finally, he didn’t make any more mistakes.

With everything completed, the two stepped out. Serena looked at herself and Ethan on the marriage certificate, feeling somewhat dream-like.

"Dad!"

"Mom!"

While Serena was looking at the marriage certificate, a surprised Ethan called out to the couple emerging from next door.

Serena looked up at the couple opposite them, and sure enough, it was Simon Sterling and Claire Sullivan!

Looking at the marriage certificate in their hands, could it be that they came for the same reason, to register their marriage!
