Chapter 960: Ungrateful Wretch
As soon as Finn Chandler entered the hospital room, Mrs. Chambers heard the noise and, seeing her walk in, immediately picked up the water cup on the nightstand and hurled it at Finn.
Fortunately, Mrs. Chambers was weak and didn’t have much strength, so the cup landed far from Finn.
"Get out of here!"
Mrs. Chambers shouted.
Finn glanced at the broken glass on the floor and chuckled coldly, "Fine!"
She turned around, but Mrs. Chambers panicked.
"Finn Chandler, stop right there!"
Mrs. Chambers shouted loudly, "Stop right there!"
Fearful that Finn would really leave, she tried to get off the bed to grab Finn.
Finn turned her head and saw that most of Mrs. Chambers’ body was already off the bed, about to fall to the ground.
Finn walked over and helped her up.
As Finn steadied Mrs. Chambers, she tried to raise her hand to slap Finn, but Finn wasn’t going to give her the chance!
Finn grabbed Mrs. Chambers’ hand in return, laughing with sarcasm.
"Mother, with your health, do you still want to hit me?" Finn’s words enraged Mrs. Chambers, who pointed at her angrily, cursing, "You bastard!"
"How could I have given birth to something like you!"
Mrs. Chambers cursed through gritted teeth, her gaze towards Finn filled with utter disgust.
Finn disliked that kind of look from her, glanced aside, and found a place to sit down.
"Finn."
Seeing that Finn was ignoring her, Mrs. Chambers called out hatefully.
Finn looked at the pale-faced Mrs. Chambers and asked with a cold smile, "Why did you call me here?"
"You go to the police station and get your sister out!" "Get Pearl Chambers out?"
Finn thought there must have been a hearing mistake.
"Mom, are you joking?"
Finn retorted.
"I am not joking with you," Mrs. Chambers said seriously, "Now, immediately go to the police station and bring your sister out!"
"Finn, you are really vicious to even lay a hand on your own sister!"
"You sent her to the police station, you want to ruin her entire life!"
Mrs. Chambers’ words made Finn want to laugh.
She ruined Pearl Chambers!
"Mother!"
Finn couldn’t help but laugh out loud, "Are you telling a joke?"
"I ruined her? Wasn’t it her who hurt me?"
Watching Finn laugh incessantly, Mrs. Chambers was stunned for a moment; she didn’t think she’d said anything wrong.
"Finn!"
She yelled sharply, "Save her or don’t save your sister."
Well, Finn considered Mrs. Chambers might not know what Pearl did, so she gave her a chance to reveal Pearl’s deeds.
"Mom, do you know how you fell down the stairs? Why you’ve been lying in the hospital for so long!"
"It was Pearl Chambers."
"She did it!" "Nonsense!"
Mrs. Chambers shouted.
How could she not know that Pearl was in the police station because of her own actions?
It’s because she knew, she felt it was Finn’s fault.
"You’re falsely accusing your sister."
She didn’t believe Finn at all! "Mother." Finn’s smile faded, and she looked at Mrs. Chambers, saying, "It was Pearl Chambers who pushed you to frame me."
"You almost died because of her!"
"Shut up!" Mrs. Chambers shouted. Her anger made her cough violently.
"You truly are an ungrateful beast!"
"Ungrateful beast!"
"Bastard!"
Finn repeated the words Mrs. Chambers had used to curse her since she entered the room.
Why do these harsh words always come from her biological mother’s mouth!
