Chapter 153: Just Die
The warehouse yard fell silent. The thug’s hand moved toward the radio clipped to his belt.
Nobody didn’t wait. "Zig Zag Teleportation."
Zap!
His figure dissolved into crimson-blue particles.
"W-What?!" The two guards spun around in panic.
"Where’d that bastard go?!"
"I-I don’t know! He was just...."
Before either of them could finish, Nobody was already inside the warehouse.
...
The interior smelled of rust, mold, and old oil. Stacks of wooden crates formed narrow pathways beneath dim industrial lights.
Nobody crouched silently behind a pillar.
The System immediately highlighted every heartbeat inside the building.

Nobody slowly peeked around the corner.
Several rough-looking men occupied the main storage area. Some were playing cards. Others counted bundles of cash. One cleaned a metal pipe. Another laughed loudly while eating instant noodles.
Every one of them carried the smug expression of someone who believed nobody could touch them.
Nobody’s eyes narrowed. "...You know what?" He stepped out from behind the crates.
All heads turned.
"...F**k you all."
Silence.
"...Who the hell are you?"
"The Bunny? Didn’t the guards stop him?"
Nobody answered by opening a blue System Window. A ripple of light spread across the air. Two familiar weapons materialized.
Clang!
The twin bladed crowbars landed perfectly in his hands. He twirled them once. Steel gleamed beneath the warehouse lights.
The leader burst into laughter. "One guy? Beat him!"
Five men charged together.
Nobody smiled beneath the crimson visor. "Bad decision."
WHOOSH!
The first crowbar swung in a smooth arc.
CLANG!
The attack knocked a metal pipe from one thug’s grip. Before the weapon even hit the floor....
Zap!
Nobody vanished.
The thug blinked. "Huh....?"
THUD!
A kick sent him crashing into a stack of empty barrels. The barrels toppled like dominoes.
"Behind you!"
But it’s too late. The second crowbar hooked another attacker’s wrist. With a sharp twist, the knife flew across the warehouse.
Nobody drove his shoulder forward, sending the man sprawling onto the concrete. Another rushed from the side. Nobody ducked beneath a wild swing. One crowbar caught the attacker’s ankle. The other swept across his midsection—not with the blade, but the reinforced shaft.
The thug lost his balance and crashed into two others.
Three men collapsed in a tangled heap.
"Damn it!"
The remaining criminals spread out.
"He can’t fight all of us!"
Nobody tilted his head. "Want to test that theory?"
The leader roared. "Get him!"
Three attackers came from different directions.
Nobody activated his skill.
Zig Zag Teleportation.
Zap.
Left.
Zap.
Right.
Zap.
Behind.
To the criminals, he became nothing more than streaks of crimson light darting unpredictably through the warehouse.
"W-Where is he?!"
"I can’t follow him!"
One thug swung wildly at empty air. Another accidentally punched his own teammate.
Nobody appeared behind them. "Too slow."
Thunk!
One precise strike sent another weapon skidding across the floor. A spinning kick knocked its owner into a pile of tires. The remaining fighters hesitated. Their earlier confidence vanished. Fear replaced it.
Nobody slowly walked toward them. The twin crowbars rested across his shoulders. "You kidnapped a child."
No one answered.
"You threatened her. You thought no one would stop you."
The leader suddenly pulled out a hidden pistol. "I’ve got him!" He raised the weapon....
Zap!
Nobody disappeared.
The leader’s eyes widened. "Huh?" A gloved hand seized his wrist before he could fire. With one swift motion, Nobody redirected the muzzle toward the ceiling.
Bang!
Concrete dust rained down.
Nobody twisted.
The gun clattered harmlessly across the floor. A firm strike to the chest knocked the leader backward into his own chair.
The remaining criminals froze. Their morale shattered.
Nobody pointed one crowbar toward the exit. "It’s over."
One by one...The thugs dropped their weapons. Some tried running.
Nobody intercepted each escape attempt with quick bursts of Zig Zag Teleportation, knocking them down before they reached the doors.
Within minutes, the warehouse had fallen completely silent.
Only groans echoed across the concrete floor.
The kidnappers were defeated.

Nobody looked toward a heavy steel door at the back of the warehouse.
The System highlighted a single heartbeat beyond it.
"That’s her." He pushed the door open.
Inside was a small storage room. A young girl sat tied to a chair. Her eyes were red from crying. When she saw the crimson bunny helmet, she instinctively shrank back.
Nobody immediately knelt to make himself less intimidating. "Hey." His voice became gentle. "My name doesn’t matter. I’m here to take you home."
"...Really?"
He nodded. "I promise."
The girl hesitated before giving a tiny nod.
Nobody carefully cut the ropes around her wrists.
She rubbed them slowly.
"Can you stand?"
"...I think so." She managed to rise. Her legs shook.
Nobody steadied her without saying another word. "Let’s get out of here."
As they walked toward the exit, she quietly asked, "...Were you the one fighting outside?"
Nobody chuckled softly. "Maybe."
"...Are you a superhero?"
He looked toward the moonlight spilling through the warehouse entrance. "...Just someone who couldn’t ignore people who needed help."
Outside, distant police sirens grew louder. The anonymous report the System had sent had reached the authorities. Blue and red lights reflected across the old warehouse walls.
Nobody smiled beneath his helmet. "Perfect timing." He guided Issebella to a safe distance before the police arrived.
The little girl looked back. "...Will I ever see you again?"
Nobody climbed onto his crimson motorcycle.
The engine purred to life.
"If someone needs saving.....The Crimson Bunny will probably be nearby."
Ahead of him, two more names still waited on the System’s list.
Moonlissa.
Rian.
Tonight’s mission wasn’t over yet.
.......
As Nobody helped Issebella toward the warehouse exit, the cold night air greeted them. Police sirens echoed faintly in the distance.
Issebella looked up at the crimson bunny helmet. "...Are we safe now?"
Nobody gave a reassuring nod. "Yes."
Before they could leave, two unconscious guards near the entrance slowly stirred. One groaned as he pushed himself onto an elbow. "...Where..." His blurry vision settled on Issebella. A disgusting grin spread across his face. "There she is..."
The second thug laughed weakly. "Heh...Come back here...We were gonna enjoy that chick before collecting the money..."
The words hung in the air. Everything became silent.
Nobody stopped walking. His shoulders tensed.
Issebella looked up. "...Mister Bunny?"
Without turning around, Nobody spoke calmly. "Issebella....Can you wait here for a little bit?"
She hesitated before nodding. "...Alright."
Nobody slowly stepped forward.
The two criminals exchanged nervous glances. "The hell...?"
In the next instant....
Zap!
Nobody vanished.
Neither thug could follow his movement. A blur of crimson flashed between them.
THUD.
Before either of them realized what had happened, both were flat on the ground again, their weapons kicked far out of reach. One’s wrist had been pinned against the concrete, while the other struggled to breathe after a precise strike to the abdomen.
Nobody stood over them, his twin crowbars resting at his sides. His voice was quiet, but every word carried unmistakable fury. "You threatened a child."
The first thug tried to speak....Nobody sliced both their heads off.
"Huh...? What just hap...n?"
"You don’t deserve another chance."
The distant sound of police sirens grew louder.
Thud!
The heads of both thugs fell on the ground before they could even realise they were dead. Blood spattered on the ground.
Nobody turned away without another word and walked back to Issebella. "Let’s go."
She looked at the motionless kidnappers, then back at the mysterious man in the crimson helmet. "...Okay."
Together, they disappeared into the night as the first police vehicles entered the warehouse yard.
....
Nobody and Issebella slowly walked toward the warehouse exit. The cool night air washed over them as they stepped outside.
Nobody helped Issebella step over the broken wooden crates scattered across the warehouse floor. The frightened girl kept close to him, occasionally glancing over her shoulder at the defeated kidnappers lying motionless around the building.
"...Is it really over?" she asked quietly.
Nobody nodded. "Yes. They won’t be bothering anyone tonight."
She let out a shaky breath she didn’t realize she had been holding. "Thank you..."
He looked at her for a moment before speaking in a gentler tone. "You’ve been very brave."
"I...I was scared."
"Being scared is normal," Nobody replied. "Bravery isn’t about never feeling fear. It’s about making it through despite it."
Issebella lowered her head, thinking about his words.
As they reached the warehouse entrance, the cool night air washed over them. The moon hung high above the abandoned industrial district, casting pale light across the empty yard.
For the first time in hours, Issebella felt like she could breathe. She looked at the mysterious crimson bunny helmet. "...Will my parents be worried?"
Nobody gave a small nod. "Very. They’ve probably been searching everywhere."
Tears began forming in her eyes. "I...I want to go home..."
"You will."
The System quietly appeared beside Nobody’s vision.

Nobody smiled beneath his helmet. "You won’t have to wait much longer."
In the distance, the faint wail of approaching police sirens echoed through the quiet streets, growing louder with each passing second.
The nightmare that had begun inside the warehouse was finally coming to an end, and for Issebella, the long journey home had finally begun.
