Here’s the extra Chapter for reaching 500 stones!

A bit late, but..

Aside from that, gimme stones!

The next extra Chapter is when we reach 1,000 Power Stones for this week!

I need to stockpile too!

From the looks of it, Herta went into a shopping spree from the looks of it.

I was checking the things she bought, and most of them were related to magic; for example, a Magic Wand from Harry Potter.

Soul Gem from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

A C+ Rank Noble Phantasm from my world.

Spell Cards from Touhou Project.

I couldn’t help but notice that, despite buying several magical items, I have never once seen her buy a magic skill that could directly make her learn magic from that respective world.

I asked her this question, and she replied frankly.

"I have no interest in immediate power-ups; instead, I want to analyze, search and understand the underlying structures of their respective magic system and then replicate them for my use and make them better."

Honestly, I respect that; she was someone who enjoys the challenge more than the result.

In the end, she was very happy with her new ’toys’ as it could keep her busy at least for a few months.

For most people, they would need an entire lifetime to understand a single magic system, but that rule doesn’t apply to a universal genius like Herta.

At most, she would spend a few days with a specific magic system before she has all the answers.

She used half of her balance to buy everything that interested her; for someone like her, money is simply a number. After all, with her capabilities, it only takes a bit of effort to create more.

The same goes for M.C.; she only needs to create valuable items and exchange them for balance.

"Today is truly unexpected, but a welcome one," Herta stated with a smile on her face.

Then, before leaving, she stared back at me and said, "I will be back."

Without wasting any time, she left the establishment.

As she did, I was staring at the door where she left and spoke. "What a woman."

"Let me guess, you want to add her to your harem." Emiya suddenly replied.

Which in turn, I looked at him like he was crazy. "No way, I can’t even manage Gilgamesh, and you’re asking to add another one like her? Just tell me if you want me to die. Because I can’t handle multiple women like her."

My relationship is already a mess, and I have no desire to make it more chaotic than it already is.

"Heh."

Judging from his expression, he doesn’t believe me, which annoyed me a bit, and I decided to bite back. "Why not add her as yours? After all, she’s like Rin. Exactly your type of girl."

Emiya couldn’t even retort because I’m right about one thing: Herta is very similar to Rin, at least in terms of personality and body type.

Big personality but pitifully small chest.

"I admit that she has quite a few similarities to Rin, but if you think she’s my type, then you’d be wrong." In Emiya’s eyes, Rin is unique. Just because Herta had some similarities to his lover, it doesn’t mean she’s his type.

The only reason why he’s tolerant of Herta’s type is precisely that she had something similar to Rin.

I stared at him, not believing his words at all. If it’s really the case, then why the hell is his younger counterpart married to my sister?

Although Lorelei isn’t exactly Rin,

her strong personality resembles Tohsaka, and you’re telling me you don’t have a type?

Yeah, no way.

Herta was back at her private lab, and she came back with a souvenir from the shop.

Her mood couldn’t be better; she couldn’t wait to dissect these magical artifacts and learn how they work.

And this time, it wasn’t merely her interest but also a dream finally being realized.

After this, no one would dare to say that she wasn’t a real magician.

Herta’s invention might have been borderline magical, the eyes of a normal person, but in her eyes, these were merely an advanced form of science that uses the path as the energy source.

With this, she could finally acquire real magic.

She laid all of the things she bought onto the large lab table, looking at them like some priceless treasure.

Then suddenly a notification labeled as priority interrupted her moment, seeing that her face made a frown.

After all, there are only a few things that could be labeled as such; one is that her space station is in a dire situation, but that’s ridiculous considering it was just recently attacked.

The chance of it happening again was small, but still it could happen.

And the next one is that her home planet is in danger, which itself was frankly an impossibility considering she had to save it 19 times, and the defence of that planet was utterly ridiculous, as only a top-tier Emanator could breach it.

And the people she put in command wouldn’t call her for help unless it was necessary.

Lastly, and this was most likely the case, a call from a friend, which admittedly she didn’t have many of, which means there are only a few people on the list.

And all of them aren’t ordinary; they’re fellow geniuses like her.

Then answered it, and as she expected, it was one of her ’friends’; it was a video call showing a beautiful young woman with turquoise eyes and waist-length brown hair with turquoise streaks that was loosely tied with a gold colored DNA hairpin. She wears a pearl earring on her left ear and a pearl necklace around her neck.

Ruan Mei, Member #81 of the Genius Society.

An expert in biology and life, even Herta has to admit that she’s superior to her in this area.

"Herta, you finally answered."

Herta rolled her eyes and replied, "I did, so what do you want? If you have anything important to tell me, say it. Or else I’m hanging up. I’m not really interested in anything at the moment right now; I have important research to be done."

"Fair. I’ve been wondering where you have been in the past week. I’ve looked for you in your private lab, and you weren’t there. I also called, but I couldn’t reach you." Ruan Mei stated.

Herta frowned. "You were looking for me? That’s impossible; I’ve been here the entire time aside from going to a certain place for about half an hour."

"No, I am sure that you went missing for at least a week. I couldn’t even find your life signature anywhere." Ruan Mei was confident of this.

Herta realized that something was wrong, because she knew that Ruan Mei was the type of person who doesn’t lie.

"What date is it today?"

"August 13."

"...I see."

If that was the case, then she really went missing for an entire week. After all, before she went inside the shop, it was still August 6.

Herta should have thought of it, but she was too occupied at that time.

Time moves differently between her universe and that place. The realization made her excited because this was also another thing that added to the allure of figuring out that mysterious shop.

She shifted her attention back to her friend, who was looking at her, waiting for her reply.

"It’s not safe to talk online; come here." It wasn’t like she wasn’t confident in her firewall defense; however, that brat from the Stellaron Hunters always manages to hack it.

So, she wasn’t taking the risk, especially with something as important as this.

Right now, the shop is pretty much her number one priority, a treasure trove with endless possibilities.

Aeons and their mysteries don’t attract her as much as before, but it’s still a very important research topic.

Ruan Mei didn’t ask why; she only nodded and agreed. "Alright, I’ll be there."

..

.

And an hour later, Ruan Mei arrived at Herta’s private laboratory.

Seeing her friend’s arrival, she shifted her attention away from the magical artifacts that she was having a blast analyzing.

To which Ruan Mei didn’t fail to see the good mood of her friend; although interested, she knew how to read the atmosphere.

"You’re finally here, now that it’s safe for us to talk. You won’t believe what I’ve stumbled upon." Herta said to her with a serious look and barely concealed excitement.

"Tell me."

And without any pretense, Herta dropped a bomb on her. "Do you know? Aeons are no longer a mystery to me."

With that as the starter, Ruan Mei’s calm expression finally changed; her eyes widened to a degree.

"What?"

A/N: A shocking way to start a conversation with a genius biologist whose ultimate goal is learning the mysteries of this universe’s ultimate lifeforms of the universe Aeons.
